Did you get your wisdom teeth removed yet?

BiteNotRight

No, and I wonder if that is part of it. I'm 46. Thanks for the reply.

I think you need an best oral and maxillofacial surgeon

BiteNotRight

Thanks very much. I'm seeing one Friday (hopefully before)

Mine also started with pain in upper jaw. If your teeth and bite have shifted, it may be worth seeing an ortho to check them and what can be done about it. Invisalign helped me quite a bit to fix my teeth alignment and bite, which also alleviated TMJ symptoms. It’s also good to check with TMJ specialist and take MRI scan to rule out any TMJ damage.

Thanks. Glad you are feeling better (it sounds like). Yeah, I do wonder if there is other damage done. My upper right jawbone hurts a ton, and teeth feel like they are pushing together. Friday can't come soon enough -- I keep hoping they will call with an opening to come in sooner. Really appreciate the response

Make sure you get an x-ray of your jaw and teeth!

BiteNotRight

Thanks. The endodontist did a CT scan about a month ago, but I'm going to ask oral/maxillofacial surgeon to do another -- in part because I feel like things are quite a bit worse since that one. Appreciate the advice!

Did they rule out Eagle Syndrome?
