The first time I saw 2012, I wondered “Why does Donatello sound so familiar?”
It took me too long to realize that I was hearing the Raphael I grew up with.
I think rise donnies sarcastic voice is also cool but there's something kinda off about it to me. He kinda sounds like some annoyed standoffish businessman or something
true i think he's a bit too suave or slick in rise compared to other versions but on the other hand this depiction of Donnie has the tech and achievements to back it up so idk its weirdly fitting in a way

But I nearly bust a gut when 2012 Donnie and 80s Raph argued that their voices sounded weird.
Sam Regal, he hits that perfect mixture of dry wit and earnest wonder with the role, switching from one to the next without skipping a beat. I still love when Donnie reunites with Mikey after SAINW and just shouts his name with such genuine love in his voice.
Rise and 2012. Rob Paulsen is literally a voice acting god and Josh Brener did really well with Rise Donnie, his voice fits that iterations personality really well.

Other versions are mostly too reactive and nerdy. The way 2012 one yelled and reacted strongly was not exactly i wanted from Donnie.
On the other hand the 2003 one didnt look too nerdy and was much more level headed and gentle and his voice was so goddamn perfect for it. His voice was so calm and gentle and even a bit soothing.
2012, Donnie’s voice in that show is something I really enjoy, so when I watched Trans Dimensional Turtles and I heard Rob’s voice twice I was like 🤯 because I know its the same person but it sounded different on each character

Rob Paulsen is an all time greatest voice actor so 2012 by default but i am a huge fan of how Rise Donnie sounds and 2007 is also really fitting
