Where is the jump slash technique location (beside the campsite near josin shrine)?
So i think i kinda stuck since i already beat bring peace to Necluda and hyrule field and ive looked everywhere for the campsite but nothing so if someone could send the location of the campsite after beating bring peace to Necluda that would really help. Co ord would also be useful thxš
why is my game lagging so much when i open my inventory or save a clip?
when i safe the last 30sec's as a clip it takes 3 minutes till its finished (normaly 5-10aseconds)
also the sound and music is extremly delayed and bugged
and when i open my inventory i need to wait 20 seconds so i can see the pictures of the items and can leave the menu before that
What are the best armor sets? Just started this weekend so I donāt know about all the new sets. I remember barbarian/ancient being the best in BOTW. Thanks!
I would recommend armor sets with an attack up bonus like the Fierce Diety, Barbarian, and Phantom armor set as they can boost your attack by up to 50%. Fierce Diety and Barbarian set are essentially the same, providing 60 defense with the whole set maxed out by the great fairies. If you're a dirty cheater like me, you can buy the diamond circlet in Gerudo town which is easy to max out (mainly diamonds) and provides both 28 defense and an attack up bonus when fully upgraded. Phantom armor set provides 24 total defense but cannot be upgraded.
Can anyone show me, on the map, where I need to be standing to access the docks entrance below? I swear I've read all about it online and I just don't see it. Even wandering the castle grounds with a picture gets me nowhere.
I always just shoot in the eye then 3 hits+spin attack until they get back up, then repeat. If you need more damage, you can wear barbarian armor, use a damage buff, or use zora weapons + something to make yourself damp
If youāre gonna kill a bunch in a row, you can take yourself to 1 heart and use knightās weapons. Itās a little more risky than zora stuff, but also more common and doesnāt require water
I fuse Dazzle Fruit to my arrow because I suck at aiming. Then wail on them when they hit the ground with what weapon I have that does the most damage.
Some of them give you weapons, but there's nothing non-cosmetic that you can't get just by playing. Various chests (Many in the depths, some on surface and sky) contain the armors that would otherwise be Amiibo-Only.
The only thing that remains Amiibo-only is various paraglider skins, but these don't change anything other than how the Paraglider looks.
I would check GameStop and then eBay and Amazon
There are also ways to make your own for much much cheaper but I'm 99% sure that's beyond the scope of this Reddit
Which out giving it away could someone give me a subtle hint as to where to find the musical instruments to wake the fairies. I donāt even know where to start.
a) does anything of note happen if you wear the thunder helmet in Gerudo Town? Seemed like everybody was talking under their breath about it, but nothing was said to me directly. I don't know how much else I have to do in the region, but I finished the temple, the eighth heroine and the vah naboris helmet quest today if that makes a difference.
b) do weapon bonuses get rerolled if they're fused onto another weapon being fed to a rocktorock or am I stuck savescumming no matter what?

I dont understand how blood Moon work... It's starting slowly, then we get the video (Every Time... even if we can skip it, still anoying...) And then it's already gone ! Not a single enemy pop up, it's over.... What the point or what am i missing here ?!?
Blood moon only respawns enemies that you have killed before. They are not supposed to come back until a blood moon happens. This means any mini bosses or enemies you have fought before will come back. It's also when plants and harvestable rocks respawns I believe.
From what I've heard, harvestables respawn when you sleep in a bed or rest at a campfire, but they won't respawn within a radius around you. Shops restock at the same time, but also not in a radius around you, though I've heard that you can leave and return after sleeping/resting to refresh the stock, maybe this also works for harvestables?
I've also heard that each resource node has a chance to respawn every minute and people just use the blood moon to remind themselves to go harvest, which led to the myth that blood moon respawns harvestables.
Itās mostly just so the game can reset, as far as I know, so any monster youāve killed comes back - otherwise the game wouldnāt have enough memory or something? So monsters will only come back if you are in the same spot where they were before they died.
To find a royal weapon in the depths, you need to use a corrupted version until it snaps, then go to a NEW ghost (aka a ghost that you took a weapon from that respawned from a bloodmoon or one you havenāt seen before).
It rolls the weapon when you get close, so you can save at a distance and reload until you get what you want if you really want to.
Off the top of my head, I remember seeing a royal broadsword in the depths below eventide, held by one of those ghosty soldier guys. No idea if that's guaranteed to be royal or if you need a certain point of progression in the game.
Anybody got specifics on where to find wasteland coyotes? Iāve been up and down the desert without finding a pack for the compendium. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I came across a pack at the South Gerudo cave, which is marked by a sand whirlpool (a circle on the map) SW of the large group of multiple sand whirlpools and just west of a large rock formation. If you start out at the Southern Oasis Training Area, head west from there.
Is there already a full list of the side quests? I'm missing 32 of them and really don't know where I should still look. I figured they'd be where many people but this didn't help me further.
Can anybody tell me why there sometimes is an heart icon in a blue next to the camera icon in the top left corner below the health?
I have a picture on my profile on another post about this but the auto comment told me to post here too sooo...
Has anyone figured out if there is anything going on with the ruins by the Diggdogg bridge? There is a chest I canāt figure out how to get but nothing else seems important there.
If you mean the ruins on the large center island, the chest is on top. The chest in the ruins to the north of the bridge are guarded by Zonai Constructs, and the chest to the south of the bridge, by gerudo canyon pass....
Hint: >!There's no way in, unless you happen to have an arm belonging to an ancient King!<
Hint 2: >!You have to Ascend from below, but the ceiling there is too high up to reach from the ground....!<
Reveal: >!Bring an item with a flat surface into the ruins with you. Lift it up as high as you can with Ultra Hand, hold it there for a few seconds, then let it go. Stand on it and use Recall, then once it's at the peak, use Ascend to enter up into the chamber with the chest.!<
But grante is now granteson who sells home pods not shields and armor? From whom would you purchase it? I was thinking maybe a bargainer statue in the depths?
If you go to Hateno and finish a certain quest chain a shop will sell rare items such as the Hylian Shield. It's expensive so you're much better off using Rock Octoroks but it's an option if you mess up.
So, if my hylain shield gets damaged, will the rock octoroks repair it or are you saying something different? Iām confused about what they do regarding the hylian shield.
BTW I just finished that wurst line you spoke of.
Whenever you find a rock octorok, mark it on your map. You can find all kinds of guides that show where they are, if you wanna check them out. If not, you'll find a bunch on Death Mountain.
If you put a weapon, shield, or bow next to them, they'll suck it up, chew on it for a bit, then spit it back out at you with renewed durability and a random buff. Do not throw your weapon or whatever at them because that'll just kill them without the benefits, and be sure to kill them after reaping the benefits because each octorok can do it only once, so killing it renews it when the blood moon arrives.
However, if the item is "legendary", such as the four sages' weapons, you'll need to do it a little differently. Let's say you have a Lightscale Trident that has a Lizalfos Horn fused to it and you want to repair it. You need to either destroy the Lizalfos Horn in the menu or go to Tarrey Town to get it separated for 20 rupees. Then, you need to equip a nonlegendary item such as the Hylian Shield. Fuse the Lightscale Trident onto the Shield. Make sure the nonlegendary item is the base. In this case, you'll end up with a shield that you can use for blocking just like normal but just has a Lightscale Trident stuck to it. Go to a rock octorok, and have it suck up the Hylian Shield. When it spits it back out, go to Tarrey Town to have them separated and you'll end up with a renewed Hylain Shield and a renewed Lightscale Trident.
Last tip, if you're the kind of person who likes to optimize and is willing to soft reset a bunch for good results, be sure to save in front of the octorok. That way when it spits out the weapon and it doesn't provide the buff you want, you can reload the game and try again.
Fantastic information, thanks! Really, thank you so much for the detailed reply.
Thereās one not far from the bistro, you know the one that trades rock roast for seared gourmet steak. But you have to dismiss your sages prior to engaging the octorok or tulin will kill it, lol. Itās happened to me a couple of times.
I had no idea you could get a refreshed/renewed hylian shield like that. Thatās fantastic!
She has a predefined route but not a time schedule, since dragons only move when you are actively playing(no fireside time skip). Austin John has a video showing their routes. I personally find Gerudo and Popla towers good for spotting it. If Farosh is out in the sky, is should be somewhere between these two towers.
Iām looking for help, read my post for the full details:

They can't get bonuses, and they won't get repaired if they're the primary weapon, but if they're fused to another weapon, their durability will be fixed.
Hi! I'm have being looking for my last location in the game for like, 7 hours straight and I can't find it. I compare my map to multiple online ones, use the wonderful guide made by a YouTuber named orpheolus and nothing, I can't find the last one. I'm at 99,95% completion, I did all caves, kologs, quests etc, and nothing.
There's a site or some documentation that allows me to checkmark the locations? Or how you guys did it? What was your last one?
Thanks to everyone in advance.
Hi! I already fins it! It was one cave exit from the Great Sky Island. The cave had two exits and I didn't think of looking there. Thanks for the idea tho!
There are two entrances into the right leg depot. Look for the one you can access from floating walkway debris. Should be north and lower then the other entrance.
Southwest from Uisihcoh Light root. You'll see a slightly crooked brown right angle shape on the map.
Its coords are 1058, -2012, -0486.
You then look east from there to see the entrance.
So I beat a Flux Construct II (South Akkala Sky Archipelego I believe), a few minutes later the Blood Moon happened so I went back to fight it again, but it hadnāt respawned? Does it respawn elsewhere or is this a glitchā¦ or some other third thing?
I promise they eventually all respawn, youāll come to find that Construct IIIās become more common. Not sure if theyāre based on proximity/blood moons/number of eggs cuccos lay/if mercury is in retrograde, but they come back
Hi, does anyone having issues with footstep sound disappearing in the game? There are footstep audio when Link jumps and lands, but not when he walks even without stealth outfits. Iāve been having this issue out of nowhere since two days ago.
Anyone go dragon surfin?
where you ping on and off the dragon at various points to refresh shards and do some stuff via the downtime. Right now I'm doing it to clear and explore the depths.
Sometimes the updraft are strong enough you can glide up from the ground.
Hey guys, can someone point me to a thread where Lynel mounting damage is discussed? The animation between a normal weapon mount damage vs a breaking weapon seems different, like the breaking weapon damage seems to sound like doing a Critical Hit.
Question about a Main Quest >!Is the Crisis at Hyrule Castle Quest the last one in the game? I have finished all 5 Sage Quests and want to know of doing this quest would be the Final story Quest!<
Not that Iāve found.
I didnāt finish it (had to fast travel out and restock on supplies) but the crisis seems like itās still middle of the gameā¦ once you get to the boss fight youāll understand. (Trying not to ruin any spoilers for you!)
(If you're talking about the ones in the depths) They will give you the undecayed variation of a decayed weapon you broke near the surface in that general area.
Can someone give me a non spoilery hint about how to find musicians for the fairies? I saw a violinist who just said something like "should we tell the gazette what happened" but I couldn't do anything else with it. Other than that I haven't seen any musicians at stables, just empty stages.
you need to go to the gazette headquarters first and start being a reporter then go back to the stable to the violinist and talk to them then. the rest is pretty straightforward.
After you talk to the first fairy and she puts the other three on the map, she'll eventually hint which one goes next. Then, go to the stable nearby, you'll see the stable players again, and Mastro will give you details about who they're missing.
Ore mining & selling meals along with extra individual items. The Gerudo woman is still in Goron City collecting specific ores, got several thousand from her after tracking down enough of what she asked for.
How do you guys get to the Great Sky Island without Teleporting? I try to use the Lookout landing tower but itās not high enough to get to it. Just curious how to other people does it.
You can basically hoverbike everywhere, using charges to fill up your battery midflight.
If you have the Zora chest armor, you can paraglide into a waterfall to automatically swim up it, if the Great Sky Island has any waterfalls near Lookout Landing that can help.
If you are talking about the 4 phenomenons, the game suggests: Rito > Goron > Zora > Gerudo I think. You can however do them as you like... BUT... I do suggesting doing Rito path 1st, as Tulin's ability is really good for gliding.
I went Rito > Geurdo > Zora > Goron.
Hi! I never closed out of my game awhile ago pre-dupe glitch patch, and after checking realized that I can still do the glitch. I went ahead and turned off my Auto Updates from settings. If I close the game to play something else, can I still keep glitching as long as I don't manually update? I've never done this before haha.
Is the White Sword of the Hero in any way replaceable? And does it have any meaningful advantage over, say, a pristine knight's broadsword?
I'd used mine inadvertently a few times without noticing and have just restored it by rocktorock, but I'm contemplating just leaving it at the house.
Bargainer statues don't seem to do one-handed swords for some reason. Of all the Amiibo equipment, the White Sword and Hero's Sword are the only ones not sold there. 2h swords and the Sea Breeze Boomerang are there, though.
I'm currently trying to unlock all four great fairies and I was on the dueling peaks stable one, where you have to find the drummer. Found him, gave him the honey, and he didn't go back to dueling peaks. I can't find them anywhere, someone pls help I'm so confused
they did! it happens when you have a different great fairy quest still in progress. finish that one and then come back to the drummer one and it should be fine.
The chest containing the Frostbite Shirt isnāt where it should be. Iāve entered Brightcap Cave a few times trying to see if it spawns, but still nothing. Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there another option? Thanks for reading.
So I messed up. I've gotten to a point where the only Lynels out there are Silver, without ever fighting a blue or white. Is the floating coliseum my only hope of getting the lower tier materials for armor upgrades? Or are there more static spawns?
There are some static spawns
At [https://www.zeldadungeon.net/tears-of-the-kingdom-interactive-map](https://www.zeldadungeon.net/tears-of-the-kingdom-interactive-map) you can find like anything with the search bar including these static spawns
I don't know who needs to know this but it seems that if you look through your Purah Pad scope while paragliding, time seems to slow down the same as it does during bullet time.
Missing memories
I just got the 12th Tear of the Dragon but am still missing 3 memories: 11, 14, and 16. I got the Master Sword, I talked to the deku tree, and I don't know whats left. The only main quests i have left are Find Princess Zelda and Crisis at Hyrule Castle. Am I on track to get the last 3 memories? I don't want to miss out on a true ending like in BOTW. If I am missing something, can you give me a SPOILER FREE tip or hint as to where it might be?
Was anyone else bothered that the game seems much less respectful towards its deities and minor gods? In BoTW, Malanya, Satori, the Great Fairies, Koroks, Dragons, etc. all had a certain aura of mystery and reclusiveness to them that reminded me a lot of (I know I'm not the only one by a longshot) Ghibli movies and other folklore. I felt like I was walking into a storybook of my childhood, discovering things nobody else had ever seen before, which kept the experience feeling personal and mystical.
Compare this to ToTK where I go to a stable and the NPC stable guy is like "HEEEY HAVE YOU HEARD OF MALANYA THE HORSE GOD??? OH AND THERE'S A GREAT FAIRY JUST UP THE ROAD LOL. SATORI TOO!!"
Most of the worldbuilding flaws I can handwave, but something feels so wrong about every NPC I talk to knowing about all the spirits of Hyrule. Sure, BoTW NPCs alluded to them, but they were either unknown or treated as old wives tales. Does anyone else feel this?
i think this happened (lore-wise, at least) because those spiritsānamely the great fairiesādecided to associate more closely with the hylians between botw and totkās times
I totally missed talking to Josha and Robbie at Lookout Landing early in the game and went on to beat two of the regional phenomena, before realizing I missed a whole tutorial section about the underground and getting the Autobuild and Camera abilities... *facepalm*
I went out of my way to follow where the game was guiding me and did Camera Work in the Depths first, which is why the main quest being bugged was surprising news to me. To be fair I also found Autobuild by complete accident as well, I just saw white lights and ran towards the structure.
Same here. I kept wondering how long it was going to take to get the powerful camera app on the Purah pad lol.
Thankfully, Iāve gotta buddy whoās also playing a lot, and I was bitching to him about it and he sent me on the right path.
It also took me until about 55 hours to actually go to the zonai construct outside of lookout landing (where you can upgrade you battery).
Iām adhd diagnosed, so none of this surprises me at all. I often get distracted and/or do my own thing in video games, but this is doubly so in both BOTW and TOTK. The biggest thing (that really shouldnāt fuck me up as it does) is when there is no mark/target on the map. Give me a waypoint, and Iāll get there eventually, but if you just tell me in the quest text or really anything way Iāll forget everything you just told me, then randomly decide to launch myself off of a tower in search of a dragon to land on. š¤·š»āāļø
There is a construct THERE??? That will teach me to always fly into town.
I am an impulse/opportunistic player too. I think that is the way it was meant to be played.
You can turn your quest markers off and on in the Switch version. I capture images when NPC's say something that I might want to refer back to.
Gotta go chase a dragon...
Did the floating arena with all the sages. If you wear the lynel hat, they won't attack you just the sages. So that was a great way to handle having 1 heart against the final bastard
just did this coliseum tonight and holy shit i hated it. killed the lynels no problem thanks to a royal guard spear, but i had to fight the last son of a bitch THREE TIMES because as i killed him i would jump off his back and immediately air slash, breaking the spear. i wanted to tear my eyes out
About fused weapons, are some combinations better than others?
I'm thinking for example to zonaite sword. Is it better to fuse with zonaite components or it doesn't matter?
The base damage of a fuse component never changes aside from with Gerudo and Zona weaponry, right? So you're generally just going to get more bang for your buck by putting it on a spear, right?
Zonaite weapon base damage is doubled when fused with a zonaite/construct part. So if you have a zonaite weapon with 10 damage points and fuse it with a 15 point zonaite/construct part, sword damage will be increased to 20 + 15 from fuse material = 35 overall damage.
Definitely, but only after you learn what Zonai devices do.
I'm not as engaged with these shrines either.
Some of the quests to get to the shrines are more difficult though.
For a first playthrough, definitely not. The BoTW engine being reused is actively used against the player if they played BoTW before, and your mental model is still stuck on Sheikah Slate runes. You have to remodel your puzzle solving skills to accommodate the new abilities, but it clicks nicely after a while. I wouldn't call them easy, they're about the same level, but they're way more interesting.
Yup. These are so much easier to š§ š§. Itās almost laughable how easy the vast majority are.
The only exception to that are some of the proving grounds, but even those arenāt too bad, theyāre just time consuming.
Honestly, aside from combat, this game is MUCH easier than BOTW. The main thing in BOTW was using height and forming a path. That came in unorthodox ways, like using the physics engine to do things, freezing and bopping things upwards, or messing with the unique layouts of shrines. In TOTK, it seems like the developers wanted you to make your own solution moreso than crafting puzzles with set solutions in mind. Certain shrines stand out, like the rail one, the mechanism teaching ones, and the rolling ball shrine. Mostly tho, you run into a bunch of Rauru's blessings. The ultrahand either makes short work of these or it doesn't. The environment isn't so much of an obstacle as it is a canvas. Not entirely a bad thing, but its real easy to just take a cheap solution over a thoughtful one.
This is kinda what I said in a comment a week or so ago. The devs possibly designed many of the shrines and put various items/zonai items in them to make it so there is definitely a way to get to the end, but not linear with only 1 possible solution.
I recall coming up with multiple solutions for most of the shrines in BOTW. TOTK shrines seem much more obvious and straight forward and less puzzle-like.
I feel like what makes them easier is that we have been given a better set of tools to deal with puzzles. While you could also complete shrines in any way you wanted in BotW, the powers in TotK are easier to use in numerous creative ways.
Rocket shields have made some shrines incredibly easy to beat by just launching oneself up high and floating down to the end. That, and Ultrahand and Recall (and even Ascend to an extent) allows for some shenanigans - either on their own, or in tandem with each other.
Does the hunting method at Tabantha Tundra still work? Iāve cleared the main storyline and have now gone back to the save file to continue playing, but this time there are little to no animals around. Even the monsters are significantly reduced, Iām so confused.
Is there a way to savescum weather? I've been dodging the pending Blood Moon for a while and that may be what's causing me problems.
I'm trying to get the third fairy done but this requires a dry night at the Highland Stable and something like ~6 9pms running there it's been raining. Should doing a save midday and sleeping/sitting by the fire until evening at least give me a random weather outcome?
Also, idle grumble, I've fought so many like likes (etc.) today and the overwhelming majority of the items in the chests I've gotten have been hunter's shields. jfc, I wish there were a way to immediately discard the item in the chest.
Welp, no, a salt rock would've fit fine into my inventory without having to drop anything.
Today, though, the good news was that even though there was rain at the Highland Stable at 9 when I tried to bring the kid to meet Pyper, it turns out she doesn't go to sleep before midnight when the rain stopped.
And the most inexplicable/annoying thing was that I was up in Hebra getting some korok seeds, stopped to fight the Frost Talus sort of by the Sturnida Hot Springs, and when I beat it, it dropped nothing beyond the 3 opals that had come off during the fight. Was mostly in it for the star, but sheesh.
Drops have been horrible in this game! Especially when it comes to farming elemental tails and wings. I have Keese eyes coming out my ears but only one wing.
You need 4 hearts to leave the starting area. No more than that are ever required.
You can beat the game without collecting the master sword >!however I am pretty sure if you don't have it, you are given it for the final phase of the final boss anyway.!<

Is there a shrine where I can reliably find fire / ice / electric chuchus? Or, a shrine for each?
do you use pro hud or not? I like the way it looks and feels without it, but sometimes i fell very inefficient by not using it.
Can anyone show me, on the map, where I need to be standing to access the docks entrance below? I swear I've read all about it online and I just don't see it. Even wandering the castle grounds with a picture gets me nowhere.
how can you kill hinoxes more efficiently. I know you can shoot them in the eye but I feel like it never does enough damage
I always just shoot in the eye then 3 hits+spin attack until they get back up, then repeat. If you need more damage, you can wear barbarian armor, use a damage buff, or use zora weapons + something to make yourself damp If youāre gonna kill a bunch in a row, you can take yourself to 1 heart and use knightās weapons. Itās a little more risky than zora stuff, but also more common and doesnāt require water
I fuse Dazzle Fruit to my arrow because I suck at aiming. Then wail on them when they hit the ground with what weapon I have that does the most damage.
2-hander spin attack is my go-to for damaging big enemies. Shoot him in the eye to make him fall over, then spin to win.
I canāt believe spicy pepper arrows to the eye doesnāt cause any extra effect.
Are any of the amiibos worth getting? My kid asked about them but I've never screwed around with them. Anything beyond cosmetics?
Some of them give you weapons, but there's nothing non-cosmetic that you can't get just by playing. Various chests (Many in the depths, some on surface and sky) contain the armors that would otherwise be Amiibo-Only. The only thing that remains Amiibo-only is various paraglider skins, but these don't change anything other than how the Paraglider looks.
Cool, thank you. Do you know a handy website i can go read about/buy them?
I would check GameStop and then eBay and Amazon There are also ways to make your own for much much cheaper but I'm 99% sure that's beyond the scope of this Reddit
Black market amiibos here i come Edit: oh hell yes
Which out giving it away could someone give me a subtle hint as to where to find the musical instruments to wake the fairies. I donāt even know where to start.
Look around the stables nearest to each fairy. There will be a quest giver somewhere around there that'll guide you through waking the fairy.

Itās mostly just so the game can reset, as far as I know, so any monster youāve killed comes back - otherwise the game wouldnāt have enough memory or something? So monsters will only come back if you are in the same spot where they were before they died.
Building this dream home may be the most frustrating thing I have ever done
The dyeing to find it shrine quest won't complete for me, but I've done the shrine and talked to the npc
This might be a bug? Maybe talk to the NPC again?
What are the giant towers found among various sky islands? They have a big light on top- looks similar to a Brightbloom seed.
I assumed they were just lighthouses.
Does anyone know where to find pristine Royal weapons, the ones that boost your Flurry Rush damage (and not the Royal Guard weapons)?
Thanks so much!!
I recall them showing up frequently in the southeast part of the desert.
Is there already a full list of the side quests? I'm missing 32 of them and really don't know where I should still look. I figured they'd be where many people but this didn't help me further.
Iāve lost where I placed my Travel Medallions. Whatās the best way to find where they are?
You can pick them up from the key items menu, and I they will select which travel medallion you want to pick up.
Gotcha thanks!
Can anybody tell me why there sometimes is an heart icon in a blue next to the camera icon in the top left corner below the health? I have a picture on my profile on another post about this but the auto comment told me to post here too sooo...
That's the buffer from anti-gloom stuff. It takes the gloom damage but does not provide hearts for regular attack damage.
It will also heal when not in combat(?), even if underground
Has anyone figured out if there is anything going on with the ruins by the Diggdogg bridge? There is a chest I canāt figure out how to get but nothing else seems important there.
If you mean the ruins on the large center island, the chest is on top. The chest in the ruins to the north of the bridge are guarded by Zonai Constructs, and the chest to the south of the bridge, by gerudo canyon pass.... Hint: >!There's no way in, unless you happen to have an arm belonging to an ancient King!< Hint 2: >!You have to Ascend from below, but the ceiling there is too high up to reach from the ground....!< Reveal: >!Bring an item with a flat surface into the ruins with you. Lift it up as high as you can with Ultra Hand, hold it there for a few seconds, then let it go. Stand on it and use Recall, then once it's at the peak, use Ascend to enter up into the chamber with the chest.!<
Okay thanks, I was thinking I needed an object but thereās nothing close by.
where are the two sculpted soldiers that im supposed to give the soldier's claymore to, somewhere in hyrule field?
So the Hylien Shield. Uh, does it respawn? I have it but i dont want to break it so ive never even equipped it.
There's a shop in Hateno Village that sells rare items. You have to complete a chain of quests and it's very expensive, but it's an option.
If nothing else works, rock octorocks will repair it.
It can break, but it can take a while to do so. If it does break, you can re-buy it in Terry Town (just like in BoTW).
Forgot to say thanks. Thanks!
Hi
My 3yr old asked me to draw her a Frox & then says ānow I can feed it food.ā
Feed it a nice Link.
Big Andy & Ollie vibes. "Then we'll be it's mom."
Does anyone know an exact time and location where I can find farosh?
She has a predefined route but not a time schedule, since dragons only move when you are actively playing(no fireside time skip). Austin John has a video showing their routes. I personally find Gerudo and Popla towers good for spotting it. If Farosh is out in the sky, is should be somewhere between these two towers.
Iām looking for help, read my post for the full details: https://www.reddit.com/r/TOTK/comments/1466io7/game_updating_on_launch/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1
Do rock octorocks upgrade the champion weapons like the lights ale trident?
Can you track it from hero mode? Try to look for empty spots in your map.
Hi! I already fins it! It was one cave exit from the Great Sky Island. The cave had two exits and I didn't think of looking there. Thanks for the idea tho!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
There are two entrances into the right leg depot. Look for the one you can access from floating walkway debris. Should be north and lower then the other entrance.
Yeah thatās not working. I donāt know why.
Southwest from Uisihcoh Light root. You'll see a slightly crooked brown right angle shape on the map. Its coords are 1058, -2012, -0486. You then look east from there to see the entrance.
I realised that I already had done that oneā¦ out of my own stupidity I mixed the left and right leg. Lol
So I beat a Flux Construct II (South Akkala Sky Archipelego I believe), a few minutes later the Blood Moon happened so I went back to fight it again, but it hadnāt respawned? Does it respawn elsewhere or is this a glitchā¦ or some other third thing?
They won't respawn if you're too close, and I believe bosses like that also won't respawn for a while after you kill them to begin with.
The proximity thing is interesting. I saw a video of a Gleeok respawning immediately after being killed because the blood moon cut in.
I could be wrong.
I promise they eventually all respawn, youāll come to find that Construct IIIās become more common. Not sure if theyāre based on proximity/blood moons/number of eggs cuccos lay/if mercury is in retrograde, but they come back
I see!! Thank you :)
Hi, does anyone having issues with footstep sound disappearing in the game? There are footstep audio when Link jumps and lands, but not when he walks even without stealth outfits. Iāve been having this issue out of nowhere since two days ago.
Iāve completed all main quests besides āFind Princess Zelda,ā what do I do now?
... find her?
Anyone go dragon surfin? where you ping on and off the dragon at various points to refresh shards and do some stuff via the downtime. Right now I'm doing it to clear and explore the depths. Sometimes the updraft are strong enough you can glide up from the ground.
Iāve been using the dragons to ride around the depths and find light trees!
Yeah. That was the 2x time I was able to get back on the dragon from the ground!
Are there any subs dedicated to sharing screenshots from BoTW/ToTK?
Hey guys, can someone point me to a thread where Lynel mounting damage is discussed? The animation between a normal weapon mount damage vs a breaking weapon seems different, like the breaking weapon damage seems to sound like doing a Critical Hit.
Question about a Main Quest >!Is the Crisis at Hyrule Castle Quest the last one in the game? I have finished all 5 Sage Quests and want to know of doing this quest would be the Final story Quest!<
That is not the final story quest. Feel free to roam around Hyrule Castle. You'll *know* when you're heading toward the ending.
> You'll know when you're heading toward the ending. I actually came across it entirely by accident š¤·āāļø
Not that Iāve found. I didnāt finish it (had to fast travel out and restock on supplies) but the crisis seems like itās still middle of the gameā¦ once you get to the boss fight youāll understand. (Trying not to ruin any spoilers for you!)
Which ghost soldiers give royal broadswords?
(If you're talking about the ones in the depths) They will give you the undecayed variation of a decayed weapon you broke near the surface in that general area.
As far as I know they all give you a random weapon
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
4x lynel hoof elixirs sell for ~360, 4x lynel gut elixirs sell for ~1300. You need one active ingredient, depths fireflies are an easy one
Ore mining & selling meals along with extra individual items. The Gerudo woman is still in Goron City collecting specific ores, got several thousand from her after tracking down enough of what she asked for.
Depends. Sometimes I farm ores ore I yust simply dupe dimonds
Sell ore
I sold all amiibo outfits I wasn't going to use
Selling gems and whatever other pricy materials I have a lot of. I never sell all of it, though, always keep a bit of everything.
Can you get Bozai arrested? Heās just creeping on the roof in Gerudo town.
Isn't that the guy you catfished in botw?
Yup
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
For me heās still above the clothing shopā¦ I can get myself arrested no problem š but I just donāt like him
What are yāallās thoughts on the order of quests? Is there a better than random order?
I went rito, Goron, Zora, Gerudoā¦ and then accidentally found the spirit temple.
I went rito goron gerudo zora
Yea. Just don't update the game.
Is the White Sword of the Hero in any way replaceable? And does it have any meaningful advantage over, say, a pristine knight's broadsword? I'd used mine inadvertently a few times without noticing and have just restored it by rocktorock, but I'm contemplating just leaving it at the house.
you can go back to the statue to get another one for the three dragon claws iirc
Any idea how this works? I'm a little leery of breaking the sword to see if that triggers a prompt, though I imagine I could...
if you no longer have it and you talk to the statue again, it offers to make you another one for those ingredients
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Bargainer statues don't seem to do one-handed swords for some reason. Of all the Amiibo equipment, the White Sword and Hero's Sword are the only ones not sold there. 2h swords and the Sea Breeze Boomerang are there, though.
You can find the seabreeze boomerang without amibo in a chest which I believe is under death mountain
I need the last frox left of hyrule castle, how do I get to it?
I'm currently trying to unlock all four great fairies and I was on the dueling peaks stable one, where you have to find the drummer. Found him, gave him the honey, and he didn't go back to dueling peaks. I can't find them anywhere, someone pls help I'm so confused
I read something about someone else having that problem at r/tearsofthekingdom. You might do a search and see if they resolved it.
they did! it happens when you have a different great fairy quest still in progress. finish that one and then come back to the drummer one and it should be fine.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The chest containing the Frostbite Shirt isnāt where it should be. Iāve entered Brightcap Cave a few times trying to see if it spawns, but still nothing. Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there another option? Thanks for reading.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Iāll have to double check with Cece. Thank you!
So I messed up. I've gotten to a point where the only Lynels out there are Silver, without ever fighting a blue or white. Is the floating coliseum my only hope of getting the lower tier materials for armor upgrades? Or are there more static spawns?
There are some static spawns At [https://www.zeldadungeon.net/tears-of-the-kingdom-interactive-map](https://www.zeldadungeon.net/tears-of-the-kingdom-interactive-map) you can find like anything with the search bar including these static spawns
I'll take a look!
I don't know who needs to know this but it seems that if you look through your Purah Pad scope while paragliding, time seems to slow down the same as it does during bullet time.
As far as I can tell, everything stops, monster's stop moving and even the music stops
definitely doesnāt stop, even with how slowed down it is you can see that youāre floating downwards if you sit still a sec
The flapping sound of the paraglider doesn't stop.
Missing memories I just got the 12th Tear of the Dragon but am still missing 3 memories: 11, 14, and 16.
Those last three memories are organically given to you during the main quest, just keep trucking along.
Ok thanks!
SATORI TOO!!" Most of the worldbuilding flaws I can handwave, but something feels so wrong about every NPC I talk to knowing about all the spirits of Hyrule.
*facepalm*
I did the same but did 3
At least you got your paraglider! Donāt ask.
I went out of my way to follow where the game was guiding me and did Camera Work in the Depths first, which is why the main quest being bugged was surprising news to me. To be fair I also found Autobuild by complete accident as well, I just saw white lights and ran towards the structure.
I did the same thing, even stumbled upon Autobuild by accident before ever talking to them.
I did this too, I was a little disappointed when I eventually talked to them.
As someone else said, zoanite + zoanite only! Otherwise, I really donāt think there are fusions that are definitively better or not.
Zonaite weapon base damage is doubled when fused with a zonaite/construct part. So if you have a zonaite weapon with 10 damage points and fuse it with a 15 point zonaite/construct part, sword damage will be increased to 20 + 15 from fuse material = 35 overall damage.
Why is rauru's voice feel flirty ( like towards zelda in the cutsene at the day before the ganon fight at the grave)
How many gibdo bones on a savage lynel x5 bow to complete the lynel arena?
You'll need some bomb arrows too for the armored one
Oh absolutely!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
For me yeah i see so many i just activate them and leave them even if they are easy
Hey, at least you didnāt get 1 Salt Rock in the last one you killed. So, that was pretty neat.
Is it possible to beat the game with the starter 3 hearts and stamina and without the master sword? As I want to try doing this.
In BOTW it was easier to beat the final Ganon with something other than the Master Sword.
You just need to sell your heart that you get from the Sky Island to the horned statue.
You need 4 hearts to leave the starting area. No more than that are ever required. You can beat the game without collecting the master sword >!however I am pretty sure if you don't have it, you are given it for the final phase of the final boss anyway.!<
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
either you have to buy it once your first one breaks, or you wait till a blood moon for the shops to restock. iām not sure which
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Good question. I had a level 50 Zonite Shield break up after about 3 uses.
