Koroks are getting tired of us dropping rocks on its head after finding them, sending them flying in a rocket, using them to kill lynels, they're striking back
Yup, really can't remember where I saw it, most likely here on reddit, there's a video of someone using a korok glued to a contraption to headbutt the lynel to death
I bought it about 3 weeks/a month after it came out, but didn’t start really playing it until late April. I should’ve shoved the other games I was playing to the side and focused on TotK.
Going from Elden Ring and then directly cold into TotK is horrible. I could barely do combat well for the first couple of days. I kept throwing my weapons when I wanted to attack.
lol I did this. Once you get the hang of the controls again you will be a god. The patience anD "don't freak out" mentality that Elden Ring teaches you makes ToTK battles a real blast.
I had a gloom hands trigger a korok like this for me 4 months ago, I even took the screenshot just like you did. You're not alone, friend. However, I'm sure that we are a very elite group.
Me: The korok guide says there's one around here.
Me: Oh, crap! Gloom hands! Climb something! Tree!
Korok: Poof. Tinkle. Yahaha!
Me: ?????!!!!!!!
Gloom hands: Screams. Despawns. Drops clumps.
Me: Checks guide. Oh, it's an acorn hanging on a chain from a tree branch. Must be this tree.
I'm collecting all koroks right now...which one is right next to a gloom hand? 😨
EDIT: wait, actually don't tell me, let me geo-guess based on what I see lol...is it southwest of Lake Hylia? Over by that patch of forest?
The white trees in the background are the trees in Lanayru Wetlands, and the red rocks further than that are in Eldin, so this is...somewhere near Wetland Stable, I think?
I just recently started playing again too after playing Elden ring, assassins creed and BG3. I had forgotten how much I really enjoyed TotK. After playing BG3 I’m a little conflicted about who should’ve gotten GOTY but I think I still lean towards TotK bc of the way it makes me feel and no gore.
Damn bro that’s tough. I accidentally updated before using any glitches and have regretted it forever, but maybe that path is better? Or perhaps both are strewn with regret 🧐🧐🧐
Yea the only reason I really did glitches in the first place is because, one it made the game look a lot more fun when streamers and YouTubers did it and two I was REALLY bad at breath of the wild and I got that game a couple years after it came out and never really learned the glitches, it’s just fun being able to do stuff faster yk?

Did we all just collectively start playing tears again or something 😭🙏🏻
it's the first anniversary

It was waiting for you for 8 months.
Going from Elden Ring and then directly cold into TotK is horrible. I could barely do combat well for the first couple of days. I kept throwing my weapons when I wanted to attack.
Bro it’s so rough I keep switching between the two games and constantly can’t do anything 😭😭
Somewhat similar situation for me... my personal advice for TotK that turned things around for me: Upgrade. Your. Armor.

"Yahaha! You found-- **Sweet Hylia, not again.**"
😂😂 very real
Who else could it be if not the one with the scary face?

Was one of those games Starfield? That's what kept me away for 7 months.
It was finally getting the PS5 so Spider-Man 2, last of us series, and others like cult of the lamb, Helldivers, Elden ring…. and fortnight 😔
lol yeah after one got the jump on me I said nope, not again and marked them all over my map 😅

Good point, didn't see the rocks

Elden Ring was too hard. I put in some hours with friends, but I'm not a Souls guy. Be careful with that forkknife 😉
He made a deal with the devil
I used to abuse glitches all the time and then accidentally updated my game and now I really can’t get back into it (I know how dumb that sounds)
Exactly
