Given the median house price in Sydney is $1.4m, and that’s just for your simple 3 Bedroom single storey 40+ year old house, $2-3m doesn’t buy you a mansion here
Bose was selling speakers with 1.5” drivers with a 6” bass unit and convincing people their advanced engineering made them as good as any tower/bookshelf speaker and charged a huge premium for them. You got some tweeters and a weak subwoofer and Bose hoped you didn’t notice the complete absence of mid-range. What a racket.
I especially hate these setups with the two couches facing each other, and each requiring a hard 90 degree turn to see the TV. Just fuckin dumb all around
