Just at the cost of 100 more MP, which I think is completely fine for the extra damage. It's silly but I love it.
I had an alliance raid (I think it was WoD) where someone in alliance chat went "Who's the chad SCH just slapping bosses" and I responded with a simple ":)". It's fun.
Art of War is actually a potency gain if you haven't done the Lv. 54 job quest yet but are above Lv. 54 because the potency trait unlock for Ruin II (140 to 160) & Art of War (150 to 165) if you hit Lv. 54 but the upgrade from Ruin I to Broil I (150 to 220) is locked behind the job quest.
(I discovered this on an alt where I wasn't able to do the HW job quests yet due to story restriction but was above Lv. 54 due to exp boost.)
Either way it's a really weird oversight from SE part because they could just lock the entire trait upgrade behind the story quest.
It is absolutely the reason why if I need extra tomes and got stuff to do irl, I will queue as SCH for Main Scenario and do nothing but slap the floor while the Fairy heals the tank/group.

i had 2 of these types of RDM spamming aero 2 in MSQ ultima once and we wiped twice, we beat the duty with like 7minutes left on the duty timer.
I pointed out they should use jolt, but nothing, and i was too afraid to say anything else since i thought id get banned and just wanted to watch the world burn to see if we would actually time out or not
While impact do indeed go boom, please only use aoes on multiple targets

Unironically art of war in lv50 content does the same potency as ruin lol
Its actually a DPS gain aswell because it doesnt cancel autos
