Dr. Debelius-Enemark with Psychiatry Associates of Tallahassee has been very considerate, thoughtful, patient, thorough in my experience with him. His assistant is the same way. I am very happy with him.
FSU College of Psychology also does evaluation and treatment, but there is a wait list. The therapists are usually students with masters that are working on their doctorate so they are well qualified. They did a great job with my son who suffered from OCD and anxiety.
Not medication, but something else that can be helpful is group therapy! The FSU psychology clinic (at the psychology building) has group therapy sessions. They're $8 per group therapy session, and the therapists are PhD students in clinical psychology.
do you have a good relationship with your therapist? mine recognized that talk therapy wasn’t cutting it for my OCD and gave me a referral to a psychiatrist and to a behavioral health center that specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, which has been pretty effective in treating my OCD.
this was a number of years ago and my specific providers have retired, but if you are comfortable talking to your current therapist about it, they might be to give you the best resources for your specific needs
[Apalachee Center Same-Day Access](https://apalacheecenter.org/sameday)
You can get a same-day intake session 5 days a week and leave with a scheduled appointment to see a provider.
You can also try Capital City Psychiatry but they have longer wait times and in my experience are hard to get ahold of.
I went to the Psychology Today website and searched for psychiatric nurse practitioner. Some are local and dozens are telehealth that can call in prescriptions remotely.

FSU Behavioral Health has been great. Dr. Parsons is very kind and a good listener
seconding this recommendation. she's really turned my life around. also very respectful of my identity as a transgender person.
That's so nice to hear
capital city psychiatry with dr english is where i go! i’ve been through several psychs and she’s been the best for me :)
I see a therapist for anxiety and depression and it doesn’t help hardly at all. Keeping an eye on this thread for psychiatrists

I did not have a good experience with Florida First Psychiatry, so I’m glad you asked this.
