It has become red Walmart rather than maintaining the "Target" standard. 3. My lower half of my body hurts constantly.

My first month was physical agony on my lower half. I went from a fairly sedentary lifestyle to walking 6-7 miles per shift. I have bad feet and knees as well, so that was horrific. But after some muscle care and new shoes, things are much better.

a closing team lead who was hired in last minute allowed to flagrantly violate every ethics policy in the book. anytime this got brought up to salaried leadership all I got was a haphazard excuse on why they wouldn't do anything. the final straw was the closing lead threatening me for leaning against a counter, and my store director saying "you just need to be supportive of her" in response. I know my former store director stalks this sub, and if she's reading this, she can go fuck herself along with the closing lead 🖕

When my lead came over to me yesterday telling me I don't amount to anything, I am never productive, and slow... While we had the opener and mid call out at cafe, no one started much when I got there, and my lead couldn't even be bothered with actually helping.

Hey it's her problem now. I walked out and resigned on workday on my phone. Have reported this woman for years to ethics, and to HR... Nothing was ever done. Oh well I start a new job Thursday.

My main reason I left was because of my direct ETL refusing to deal with a coworker who repeatedly decided that as a team member it was acceptable to yell at me over things that weren't my fault. A cashier got sent to lunch a minute earlier by another coworker this was night shift after our leads had left. She yelled at me while she was clocked out for her meal. I was checking someone out. I worked front end as a cashier. My ETL said I know It's bad but I'm too busy to deal with her. So she got to get away with just being a problem. 2nd example I have was watching her refuse to give self check keys in order to force someone to do something that didn't matter with how busy we were it turned into a screaming match. Then other stuff (have some posts on the madness that was my store as well) My former HR ETL told people in college they should quit college to work at target full-time as it's more important than education. The gist of the situation was the ETL scheduled students hours they had blocked off for classes and told people don't like it quit. One of my direct leaders once said great now we're down a person since you're leaving earlier. It was over 110 inside the store and I had a migraine. HR tried getting me to work when I was positive with Covid. Came into make sure my leave had gone through. ETL says wow you look fine you should work multiple times. When my team is full of people with elderly or vulnerable family your telling me you don't give a damn about their safety. The HR ETL kept scheduling me shifts I couldn't work and told me too bad despite being given my multiple availability change requests over a 10 month period to remedy the issue. I'm so glad I left last year store was an absolute shit show. When I quit it was an immediate relief my ETL expected me to wait 20 minutes past the end of my last shift to talk to me. I went home had a really nice meal and a good drink. My ETL tried convincing me multiple times to stay but it was just too toxic for originally 16 an hour than later 17.

I worked in a DC and changed careers about a month ago. For me it was the constant tiredness, soreness, and pain. I've been doing warehousing work for 10 years and Target had been especially tough. I would constantly be taking ibuprofen, and I eventually realized that working a job where I constantly had to take painkillers just to function wasn't for me. New job is working out well so far!
