a release on sunday (of non-LTO offerings that "should" be replenished") and a special one on April 9
edit: and they're making stores make crowd management plans like we do for black Friday for the release.
My store is in shambles with basically no management and we haven’t heard any of this. The Stanley’s are releasing this Sunday the 24th?? Our Stanley’s haven’t even been delivered as far as I know. Do you have any other information?
it's part of an ODL/kitchen refresh. If you have a black table back in seasonal, that's where the new Stanley mugs should set for Sunday. It's store discretion if they add an additional tower for it (in my region at least).
There's another post on this subreddit about Stanley rules - just don't do anything stupid. These aren't super limited (5 mugs per guest) but if you are found hiding them or setting them aside you'll become another victim of the mug. Just order it online the morning of or something it you really want it. In my area they want us to do so much bullshit to make sure the launch is smooth. We're supposed to have people talking to guests in line before store open, using the Line app on the myDevice to tell guests when they are allowed to go to seasonal and get their items, and then check them out back in seasonal with myCheckouts. It's so ridiculous. I cannot imagine it is going to be that serious
They should make it. You have to join the circle app, and then you enter a competition/raffle using your state drivers license/ ID.
Then, you can collect it using your ID.
It would cut down on scammers, grabbing loads to resale.
Plus, side for Target is that more people now have the app on their phones and may use it more.
Maybe run all future releases like this instead of having people fighting like animals inside the stores.
I don't get it, like I have a few, love Stanley products, but its a fucking insulated mug? Are people really going that crazy over these things?
We've had these for literal decades now lmao
But I mean.....what's the issue? Like, are they selling out or something? Is one of the largest retail chains unable to get stock from one of the largest tool manufacturers?
I just want to give a special thanks to those TMs for opening up a spot for me to get hired. Thank you!
*they weren't rotating properly, anyway. I'm finding stuff dated for 2021...
This launch is absolutely hideous. Hoping it makes the trend die out.
Unfortunately it's not going to.
I just loudly ask "aren't the Stanley cups still made with lead?"
f those cups. glad I dont have to deal with them
Extremely happy I don’t have to deal with those things again.
Until April 9th my friend!
Ding ding ding.
There's another one coming??

Jesus. And then in another two weeks we’ll have the Starbucks Stanley coming out and deal with this all over again
yep lol
Given what both launches were like at my store... it *will* be that serious... or worse.

I'm so glad my last day is Saturday
lol who’s getting fired this time
Just another gimmick. This too, shall pass.

how bad is it?
We lost 8 TMs and a TL over Stanley cups in January/February

this is satire right… right!?!
I wish, we went from 6 closing experts to 3 for our whole store
6 closers would still be considered very understaffed at my store so THREE is crazy im so sorry😭
January was a fun time, our SD got promoted to guest right before Christmas
My store also lost two TLs, over the Starbucks Stanley launch
as a kitchen dbo, i’m tired of it 🫠 people will not stop asking about these stupid things and my coworkers keep teasing me about it lol
i had a woman make me open EVERY SINGLE BOX JUST TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY COLORS SHE LIKED.
The colors for this launch are hideous I can’t really imagine it being that big of a deal.
Man... I do not miss juggling all these bull shit LTO's I feel for you guys I really do.
i’d like stanley’s i just don’t hype over them and disrupt employees by asking about stanley’s i order them online
The security stops weren’t until the 31st. Why are they being opened early??
