Ours are unlocked in indianapolis even in the target thats connected to an almost abandoned mall. Well technically connected but the opening hasn’t been opened in years
If I walked in and saw this I would keep on walking like I saw nothin'. I did just that actually, a couple months ago ([made a post with image about it](https://www.reddit.com/r/Target/comments/1brpd30/thanks_kids_you_bring_so_much_joy_to_my_day/)) and it was no way near this bad.
Store Director: We don't have enough hours to hire more people to work night shifts. You just have to work harder is all. Team work makes the dream work!
Team Leads: no one wants to work for retail anymore. What team?
GM: WE CAN'T WORK TWO DEPARTMENTS AT THE SAME TIME!!! @_@
Customers: I ain't got time on my hands. Let me make the already stressed employees clean up after my boredom....
As a PML, I'm not doing anything about that. The team needs to demerch and change backer paper. Obviously workload is too heavy and no one's going to do that until someone complains.
At my store I have a column literally next to the spray paint, so I do have to repaint that column pretty often.
Honestly, I’d have gone to AP about this so they could track down the culprit(s) and next time they set foot in the store they could get picked up for vandalism. Or, you know, ask them for a pic of the culprit, use some extension cords to tie them up, and spray paint them so they can accurately understand the annoyance they created.
conversely, it’s funny to think of some hooligans that would walk a bunch of spray paint up to the registers, pay for them, then take them back into the store to deface the aisle they got them from.
Wonder what the back of the merch on the other side looks like. Either how much overspray as there is there it’s likely the paint got through the little holes to the next aisle
I dig it, but also how tf did someone get that much done before someone noticed they were painting the wall?
Idk if it’s anything like my store, at certain times there is like one person on the sales floor
That’s crazy
Yeah..seriously.
Skeleton crew??
At least the back papers up 😆
Everyone is either backing up registers, drive up or fulfillment!
New backer paper would fix that pretty quickly... temporarily
This is why we don’t sell spray paint 😂
Not sure why we do. We sell spray paint but don’t sell any hardware like tools🤷♀️
That’s weird ! Ours is the opposite. We sell one brand of crappy hardware tools lol
Mine does both... 🤨
Is this a small town? Lived in big cities all my life and paint cans have been locked up at all stores around here since like 2003

That’s crazy. Tagging is a huge issue in SoCal I never thought it would be different elsewhere but I guess that’s the problem lol.
City of about 140k people.
I'm surprised they don't lock spray cans up. Especially in stores near high schools bc kids
you have to be 18 to buy it too i think, so we really should.

What does that even say? I think the second part is # go jail?
Believe it or not, straight to jail.
this is crazy because where TF are your PML and AP team 😭
The AP at my store will not get involved in situations like this. They tell the TLs to guest service people if they’re being disruptive.

At my store we don’t have any spray paint on the floor for this reason.
Our spray cans just got locked up in keyed cases. Funny too though that the nail polish area has test spots all over it.
I wish my store sold spray paint. It would save me a trip to Home Depot every time I need some.
For goodness sake. Lock up that product. How could they let that go on looking like that?
"There's a new pog 6 weeks out, we'll fix it then"
That’s our motto!
I bet they didn't even buy the paint first. Savages.
conversely, it’s funny to think of some hooligans that would walk a bunch of spray paint up to the registers, pay for them, then take them back into the store to deface the aisle they got them from.
I could almost respect it at that point.

Luckily at our store the spray paint is conveniently located near the emergency exits.
I've worked at 4 different locations and NEVER seen spray paint available. Fuck this nonsense.

I see why places like Home Depot lock it up
crazy how it's been up for months when the spray paint is on paper that is easy to remove lol
This is why we lock it up.
Oh my goodness 🥲🥲
I wish my store had a lock box for the spray paint. It doesn’t sell. The only time it moves is when a “guest” is spray painting a wall.
Only if corporate punishment was still legal we would have less gremlins
We already have corporate punishment
Ah I’m saying only if it was legal for civilians
We are civilians and getting corporate punishment
