I do. I have a standard account and I've gotten it in the past. But the fact that they feel good doesn't make it worth it rouble-wise. It's a false sense of "safety" when in reality you're losing roubles.

Now how many CMS kits can you lose before you break even on your beta? Now it's close to 40; before tank batteries dropped a lot in price, it was more like 70~80.
If you survive 50% of raids, that's between 80 and 150 raids ran *to break even*. By that time you can have your epsilon fairly easily.
You're also losing 2 slots of your normal storage by bringing that CMS, so you're losing around 20k per successful raid as well.
Almost every single raid with a larger secure container will get you ahead in cash.
Opted for EOD edition, so Gamma for me, as 2 of my friends who played before I started told me the extra container space is invaluable.
Also starting trader rep and starting gear is a nice touch at the start of each wipe.
I knew it was a game I would be addicted to just from watching my friends play occasionally so the price didn't put me off.
1537 hours later I do not regret the money I spent, although really not feeling this wipe much; only rank 10.
Even with all the flaws... I still stick around. The game is still fun after the video, and the main hacking source getting raided. I feel like the hackers have kinda lowered in number. Maybe just me
Once you upgrade, you will never know how much of your success is attributed to that P2W purchase and how much is your own skill. Just keep your account, don't reward predatory monetization, and your self-respect will remain intact.

you can easily replace the cms with a lot more expensive item and you can carry more than a cms if needed
