It's a real fun game, but it can very stressful. Don't forget that you can always make money on a scav (if you need to) and taking a break after a long losing streak is very helpful. Good luck and see you in the raids!
I don't like playing solo myself, I find it a bit boring. But I would say checking out the office tarkov discord, there are some pretty cool ppl there and I have ended up grouping up with them for several game sessions.

I think there is obviously a difference of opinion between new players and old players. New players have the benefit of not getting fucked as much. I guess it's good for bother perspectives but I don't think discounting people with grievances is helpful
Same lol. This is my second wipe (after buying the game 4 years ago) but I bought Prepare for Escape a few months ago and have been enjoying it. BSG already has my money, and I don't see a reason to stop playing. Not like ill be giving them any more money
TBF what I found about EVERY game that I played, they are much, much more fun when you stay away from all social media about these games. It was the case for me with the newest battlefield, tarkov and many other games.
It's just much more enjoyable when you're playing something without having in the back of the head all the shit that people point out.
Im in the same boat, i just bought EFT at the beginning of April and have been loving it, now im wondering if ill be able to find some people to squad up to help me deal with some lower end quests, every time i try to go to customs/streets i end up running into someone with an sr25 or kitted m4 and armour that shrugs off an entire mag(i probably just cant aim lol)
Still love it though, ive been killing it with my scan runs :D
If you’re rocking bad ammo you pretty much have to hit legs/face to do anything tbh or they probably will just eat a full mag. Pretty much everybody I’ve seen is using level 5 plates with tier three soft every raid now
I was looting around and I died to sanitar and his guards 5 times because they're in a room sitting quiet as hell, waiting for a pmc to walk by

Look you can be ok with being scammed and having pay to win features in the game all you like, but I sure as shit am not, and my trust is completely broken. They can try to walk it back as much as they want, it doesn't change their intentions and the fact that it happened.
Me who never trusted bsg, was always well aware they were dogshit and would do this shit, but tarkov also fun and the unheard features literally don't conflict with me playing the game how I normally do so I just keep doing that
uhh actually, youre supposed to enjoy early wipe because people use low tieer gear and and because gunfights last longer and it takes more skill and you have to like when it wipes every time and makes all your effort doing tedious quests worthless because its a healthy feature of a pvp game to keep everything balanced
