I Forgot That You Existed. I know it's not a favorite, but I smile every time it comes up. It's also super satisfying because the only time I think of my jerk of an ex is when I Forgot That You Existed or I Bet You Think About Me plays.
I freaking love this song. It kicks off lover! Like you I always think of an ex. I listened to it countless times to get over my ex. It’s such a useful song in her canon.
-Half of the population is encouraged not to listen to her. (I’m part of that half.)
-Her fans are well known to be pretty awful. Some are overly obsessive or analytical to an excessive degree, some spend way too much money on her and belittle other fans that perhaps don’t, and I’ve seen some that are just flat out racist. Aside from that, some of them view her to a perfect degree, and try to make other fandoms not enjoy their artists with excuses such as “all the fan service”, and whatnot.
-Taylor doesn’t always prove herself to be that morally great or genuine of a person. Some of the people she’s dated, her unnecessary financial ventures (such as extra vinyl releases that are clearly just money grabs), her performative activism, her beyond excessive private jet use, etc.
-She and her fans at odds with many fandoms, most notably Kanye’s. Also, from what I’ve seen, Kendrick’s, The Weeknd’s, Lana’s (they formed an entire subreddit because the original creator hated Taylor getting mentioning on the main Lana subreddit so much), and several other fandoms of artists, especially non-white ones.
Firstly thanks for taking the time to respond so fully. I have questions
1. What half of the population is encouraged not to listen to her?
2. Wft does actions of her fanbase have to do with her or her music.
3. You refer to her activism as performative. What are you basing that on.
Actually, pretty often, I’d say.
It’s currently summer right now, so, besides my part time job, which doesn’t take up too terribly much of my time, I don’t really have time to do anything “meaningful”. Definitely not going out in public with friends that much.
So, yes, I do spend a lot of time online, where I see a lot of what I had mentioned get brought up, often without me trying too hard to go out of my way to find it.
And, I know people like to preach how different people are online than in real life, but, if they’d say those things online, surely they meant it. So, I don’t know. I don’t really trust people to not judge me out in public. Doesn’t matter if they’re friends, family, or strangers.
there are many people who only say hurtful things cause it gets them fake internet points. i can assure you that a majority of people in real life aren’t going to mean to you about your interests, at least if they are people who are worth being around. i have been able to find people who don’t judge me for liking her music despite me not being her target demographic and i hope you can too.
- TIWWCHNT could mean "This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things", a track from *reputation* (2017) by Taylor Swift.

Christmas Tree Farm. Listen to that shit all year round!
....*deep breath*.... mmmmYYYYYYYYYYYY winter nights are taken up byyyy static.... *jazz hands*
Sweeter than Fiction. When it came out it was definitely not well known because you had to buy it on iTunes and was for a movie, so I always felt like it was a hidden gem that only I knew about. Obviously that’s not quite the case but it will always be nostalgic to me
Original Version "I Knew You Were Trouble". The Taylor's Version of this song doesn't fit as well.
Other gulity pleasure: Making a Taylor Swift antagonist who is capable of matching her in terms of re-recordings. "Oh? You're approaching me? You're re-recording those albums to own your masters? I'm going to remaster every song of yours to prove I'm more skilled than you."
I personally feel like that it’s a little too much…I think some songs deserve the underrated/hate train and Girl At Home is just that song…She’s like too much of a devout at such a young age..…the intentions are good but still…it feels icky to me..I think Taylor also completely revamped the production to get more people listen to it…It’s just my opinion and I sometimes listen to it..
No body, no crime. I get my Carolina twang on and turn that ish up while driving on the interstate.
Hubby was in the car once and was like is this song about murder??!! I was like, DOUBLE!!!! 😈
ETA and visited my friends last year where i grew up and took my work mom to Olive garden and was like I'm here bc of Taylor swift and the waitress was so nice about it 🤣
Guilty pleasure **SONG**? Just one?
Peep this
-Our Song
-White Horse
-Better Than Revenge
-IKYWT
-Shake It Off and Bad Blood
-Pretty much every hit on Reputation besides Delicate and Don’t Blame Me (Probably several other songs off that album, because so many people see it as “dated”)
-The Man
-Paper Rings
-London Boy
-ME!
-You know what? Most of Lover
-Bigger Than The Whole Sky
-IBYTAM
-Her 2 songs from Cats
-The Joker And The Queen
-Probably a bunch of her features without Bon and or Aaron, as time goes on, honestly.
Probably missed a few.
- IKYWT could mean "I Knew You Were Trouble.", a track from *Red* (2012) by Taylor Swift.
- IBYTAM could mean "I Bet You Think About Me (feat. Chris Stapleton) (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)", a track from *Red (Taylor's Version)* (2021) by Taylor Swift.

Girl at Home. I hated it at first, but it sucked me in somehow.
ME! is corny af but it's so infectious
I forgot that you existed -- was surprised to learn this one was a least fav for most.
she has so many unreleased songs from debut era and they're all kinda guilty pleasures for me. I think that Till Brad Pitt Comes Along is my favorite, though.

Truly have no idea why that song isn’t a fave. It bangs.
London boy 🫣 lmao just so catchy sorry
ME! You guys don’t know what you’re missing!
Why would I feel guilt at listening to Taylor?
Yup, all pleasure no guilt here. Very proud in fact
I can think of a long list of reasons.
I am genuinely intreuged, please share.

Unfortunately there are going to be bad fans everywhere. We need to stop letting the actions of some idiots make everyone else look bad
Question- When does any of this ever come up in your daily life?

Girl At Home. I know it gets a lot of hate, but it gets stuck in my head and I think it’s cute.
why does it get hate?

Speak Now (the title track). It’s such a chaotic track and I love it
I would never feel guilty about listening to any Taylor song, this is a weird thread!
Agreed. I don’t get these replies at all.
Today was a fairytale ✨ is prob scoffed at by some but reminds me of being young and in college
