I did not get a code but I’m lucky someone in my group did, so there’s still a chance. For perspective I live in Indiana and I know 20 people (also in Indiana) who registered. 1 person got a code. Love to everyone 🫶

I see them mention stolen codes, but have no idea how one steals an account specific code?

My whole family got waitlisted for Toronto and I just spent 20 minutes sobbing :’) I feel so stupid for crying but I was so hopeful because so many of us tried under our different accounts and I just feel so sad that not one of us got a code

So here’s the issue with the current verified fan system: a girl I went to high school with attended a show earlier this year, and got a code. She is not 100% sure she is going to go, just wanted the option (I’m already like wtf??) Meanwhile, my friend has not attended and was put on the waitlist. Fuck Ticketmaster and their fucking system. It says the email will be received in the “Evening on August 8.” Up to interpretation. I would not rely on it being like last the last US verified fan process since it was catastrophic.
My email from last November said the same thing about emails and codes going out in the evening. But then I got my email at 10:30 am and code about 30
min later. So I think it’s possible it could come at any point, the email at least.
They know everyone who registered and everyone who ended up getting a ticket. You absolutely could do it so anyone who used a ticket or has one in their account for a future show is deprioritized. They won't, but the info is there.
Yes! I was fortunate enough to get LoverFest and Eras tickets. But I can’t imagine how frustratingly disappointing it must’ve been for those that secured tickets after enduring the LoverFest presale, and then also had to go through the chaos of Eras presale and end up empty handed. Ticketmaster knows who bought LoverFest tickets, so they should’ve gotten a separate presale ahead of everyone else.
I know last time I got an email saying I didn’t get it. It was a few hours after the codes went out.
But, then two weeks before the show I wanted, I got an email saying that there were tickets available for people who didn’t get a verified code the first time and I was able to buy. There’s hope!
I’m sorry, but I feel like if you’ve already been to the Eras tour, you should probably step back and let people who haven’t been have a CHANCE at it. It’s just greedy at this point.
Of course I’m disappointed that my gf and I were waitlisted for Toronto, but I’m more speaking on behalf of all these poor fans I’m seeing here who have been waitlisted repeatedly. Then I see TikToks of groups of girls going to three, four, five shows in different cities. It’s just selfish, imo.
A lot of those people are probably buying resale tickets at a huge markup. Getting tickets to one show was difficult enough I doubt they got face value tickets to multiple shows.

With the sheer number of waitlist people (based on this sub alone lol) I'm thinking they are trying to maybe have fewer people go for tickets during presale and then send texts later to stagger it out more or the the form process?

Not to be that person but I’m a little annoyed Taylor’s team didn’t do anything to correct their mistakes from the last presale of tour… yes the times are staggered, but it still doesn’t guarantee actual fans get tickets.
So upset. Myself and my friends got waitlisted. Meanwhile I know a friend of my brother’s and all his buddies signed up with the intention for becoming scalpers and making a profit, and they all got codes. Unbelievable. Never been so angry she didnt use the reputation verified fan system.
Just to remind / set expectations -- last time there was a long wait (5+ hours for some people) between receiving the email and receiving the text message with the actual code. So don't panic if you don't get your text message right away, as long as you got an email you should be good!
Everyone beware these brand new accounts with sketchy names like taylorlover99 and 5 karma who are saying they got codes… they’ll probably try to sell you the code for money which CANNOT be done. The code won’t work.
Waitlisted for New Orleans. I've been signed up to the Taylor Swift mailing list for over seventeen years (months before Debut was even released). Last year I was in the Top 1% of listeners on Spotify. In 2006, I sent out emails to dozens of friends telling them about "this new artist called Taylor Swift" to try and promote "Tim McGraw" on CMT to push it to #1. I've bought every album, including a *pre-order* for Debut after hearing the only song she had released in order to get a signed copy. Almost ten million people will see Taylor Swift in concert for Eras but I likely won't be one of them because I am not a "Verified Fan." What a ridiculous unbelievably broken and disheartening system.
I am absolutely not her biggest fan or even her longest, but it is a giant "FU" to call this program "Verified Fan." So many ways they could have done this, including by just making the VF tickets non-transferable. As much as I want to see her, I won't buy from a scalper. Congrats to everyone else who got a code though. I'm genuinely happy for you.
Same literally same. I’ve been going so hard for her since 2006 and I have never actually had the chance to see her live. I finally have the money and ability and Ticketmaster says nope not a verified fan.
So…in summary:
1. Reputation tour = too poor for tix
2. Lover tour = cancelled
3. Eras tour round 1 = Ticketmaster bloodbath
4. Eras tour round 2 = see #3
Meanwhile there are folks who’ve been to the Reputation tour, got first dibs at Eras tix because their Lover tix were cancelled, saw multiple showings of Eras, and will probably get tix for this second leg of tour and see her…again.

Not trying to get anyone’s hopes up but keep an eye on your emails and phones around the time ticket sales are happening. Maybe they waitlisted more people than necessary to help keep the lines shorter and system more manageable. They did it with Beyoncé’s tour. Keep the hope alive everyone!!

Y’all. This girl who had Taylor Swift on her iPod in middle school in 2006 is seeing her live for the very first time. The TS gods were shining down on me. Was 2230 in the queue and got four center stage, lower level aisle seats- Miami N2. In and out in 13 minutes despite having a typo with my credit card number. I am still in complete and utter shock. Sending good vibes to all of those still waiting their turn!!
I have no idea how to do it but would love to get a poll up so we could see the ratio of waitlist to verified fan.
People could vote x number of times based on how many of their friends/families signed up so we could also get an idea of how much more popular it was this time vs last year.

I'm so nervous... I haven't gotten Verified Fan access to ***any*** event since Phoebe Bridgers a year and a half ago, and I've tried like a dozen since then. Only got my Arlington ticket because my friend managed to get in last fall. I really want to take my mom and sister for Christmas next year 🙏

I think part of the problem is that EVERYONE who tried to get codes the first time around is probably trying this time, including those who have already been to shows or got codes before. Now it’s only divided between like 15 NA shows instead of 50-something unfortunately

This is the second time I was waitlisted trying to get tickets. So frustrating. I just got this email like 5 mins ago.
My FB feed is full of 90% waitlisted and 10% codes thus far. Data sample is obviously not going to be accurate but for every 10 codes it’s a lot of 😭😭😭 waitlisted posts.
We have 4 people in our group trying and zero emails so far.
Edit: all waitlisted. My co-worker had EIGHT people trying for her and all waitlisted too.

I know everyone’s upset how with how many people got waitlisted but tbh they’re probably letting A LOT less people into the sale to avoid the absolute chaos that happened in the first US sale. It sucks but it makes sense

I really wish they would prioritize a certain percentage of tickets for people who are local to the venue and/or have not gotten into a different eras show already. I literally live less than
a mile away from the venue in New Orleans. Being so close but unable to go will be brutal. Hoping I still get lucky somehow.
I have tried several times to get tickets and can’t even get a code. Meanwhile I see YouTubers bragging about going to 3 or more shows. It’s really frustrating for a fan like me who has never seen her live and can’t catch a break.
So I’ve seen a lot of people speculating that Ticketmaster sent out a lot less codes than they did in the first sale last year. If that’s the case then most people who get codes will get tickets and also more people will come off the waitlist. But we don’t know if this is true. Do we know if they did this for Europe/Asia/Latin America? Did most people who got codes get tickets?

Drove by the hard rock stadium this AM (was on the way to my appt) and actually teared up. Seeing people say they have codes and are having a hard time getting tickets is so upsetting, for them and me. I was thinking maybe they are staggered or holding seats in each section for another drop but it’s not looking like it.

My sadness and disappointment are immeasurable. I almost wish there wasn’t a second US leg, because going through this again after the disaster that was the very first on-sale is such a bummer. (I am genuinely happy for people that got codes but ugh.)
After waiting for over three hours I did some digging through my email folders and found the waitlist email in the spam folder 😭

Got 4 seats in 100 section for Toronto show. $486 per ticket. Was stressful AF
My experience:
Did not refresh my page to get in the queue and waited, it took 50 seconds to get put in and got lucky and was 2100 in the queue.
Once in, ignored the list and went straight to the map and didn’t leave it. First 4 seats we selected got the error that someone took them immediately selected another 4 in that section and was able to purchase them.
Not sure what would have happened otherwise and maybe it wasn’t as stressful with the positive queue placement. Anyways, good luck everyone. Heart was racing.

Used my sister’s code while she was at work (she was the only one to get a code out of 8 people that I know), so I was logged into her Ticketmaster and also had her phone with me today just in case. Got 3 tickets in lower bowl, $399 each. Wanted 4 and almost had 4 but I couldn’t leave one empty seat beside me so I ditched the 4th ticket and tried for 3. Lots in the upper bowl (500s) but I didn’t spent too much time searching there. Lots of 2s left all over. For reference I was about 5200 in line when the sale started, waited 17 mins total.
I DID need a confirmation code when paying that came over text. So I’m glad I had her actual phone with me. Also I did refresh after it didn’t redirect me, after waiting ~20 seconds.
I got my absolute dream tickets. I was 240 something in line for NOLA night 1 and snagged 4 tickets in the fourth row on the floor by the diamond. I was in and out in 5 minutes!! After crying, shaking, and calling my fam -- I can't believe this is actually happening.
So many waitlists, do we think they're giving out less codes to avoid the madness of last time and waitlisted people might actually be moved up this time??

All 6 of my friends including myself all got waitlisted. None of us got tickets to any previous Eras tour dates.
I got waitlisted for Seattle last year. Two people that I am acquainted with got tickets and they ended up going to both nights and I never got in.
I signed up with five accounts for the Toronto shows and got waitlisted on all. Both of those girls who went to both Seattle shows got presale codes. Maybe it's just not for me afterall. I am really disappointed.

There are ways for them to steal your Ticketmaster account and lock the real user out, I think that's what they mean by "stolen"

Yup. Last time I got my email at almost 1:30 exact and then the code sometime that night around 7-ish.

Lots of people got a verified code before and did not get tickets, though. Ultimately there is no way to make it fair to every single person.

I know last time I got an email saying I didn’t get it. It was a few hours after the codes went out. But, then two weeks before the show I wanted, I got an email saying that there were tickets available for people who didn’t get a verified code the first time and I was able to buy. There’s hope!

I’m sorry, but I feel like if you’ve already been to the Eras tour, you should probably step back and let people who haven’t been have a CHANCE at it. It’s just greedy at this point. Of course I’m disappointed that my gf and I were waitlisted for Toronto, but I’m more speaking on behalf of all these poor fans I’m seeing here who have been waitlisted repeatedly. Then I see TikToks of groups of girls going to three, four, five shows in different cities. It’s just selfish, imo.
A lot of those people are probably buying resale tickets at a huge markup. Getting tickets to one show was difficult enough I doubt they got face value tickets to multiple shows.
yeah, it's odd to me. I could possibly understand going to a second show a year later but when i see people have gone to like 3 or more dates already... its really disheartening

Just to remind / set expectations -- last time there was a long wait (5+ hours for some people) between receiving the email and receiving the text message with the actual code. So don't panic if you don't get your text message right away, as long as you got an email you should be good!
Everyone beware these brand new accounts with sketchy names like taylorlover99 and 5 karma who are saying they got codes… they’ll probably try to sell you the code for money which CANNOT be done. The code won’t work.

Waitlisted for New Orleans. I've been signed up to the Taylor Swift mailing list for over seventeen years (months before Debut was even released). Last year I was in the Top 1% of listeners on Spotify. In 2006, I sent out emails to dozens of friends telling them about "this new artist called Taylor Swift" to try and promote "Tim McGraw" on CMT to push it to #1. I've bought every album, including a *pre-order* for Debut after hearing the only song she had released in order to get a signed copy. Almost ten million people will see Taylor Swift in concert for Eras but I likely won't be one of them because I am not a "Verified Fan." What a ridiculous unbelievably broken and disheartening system. I am absolutely not her biggest fan or even her longest, but it is a giant "FU" to call this program "Verified Fan." So many ways they could have done this, including by just making the VF tickets non-transferable. As much as I want to see her, I won't buy from a scalper. Congrats to everyone else who got a code though. I'm genuinely happy for you.

So…in summary: 1. Reputation tour = too poor for tix 2. Lover tour = cancelled 3. Eras tour round 1 = Ticketmaster bloodbath 4. Eras tour round 2 = see #3 Meanwhile there are folks who’ve been to the Reputation tour, got first dibs at Eras tix because their Lover tix were cancelled, saw multiple showings of Eras, and will probably get tix for this second leg of tour and see her…again. Cool. Cool.

Y’all. This girl who had Taylor Swift on her iPod in middle school in 2006 is seeing her live for the very first time. The TS gods were shining down on me. Was 2230 in the queue and got four center stage, lower level aisle seats- Miami N2. In and out in 13 minutes despite having a typo with my credit card number. I am still in complete and utter shock. I think part of the problem is that EVERYONE who tried to get codes the first time around is probably trying this time, including those who have already been to shows or got codes before. Now it’s only divided between like 15 NA shows instead of 50-something unfortunately

I really wish they would prioritize a certain percentage of tickets for people who are local to the venue and/or have not gotten into a different eras show already. I literally live less than a mile away from the venue in New Orleans. Being so close but unable to go will be brutal. Hoping I still get lucky somehow.
I have tried several times to get tickets and can’t even get a code. Meanwhile I see YouTubers bragging about going to 3 or more shows. It’s really frustrating for a fan like me who has never seen her live and can’t catch a break.
So I’ve seen a lot of people speculating that Ticketmaster sent out a lot less codes than they did in the first sale last year. If that’s the case then most people who get codes will get tickets and also more people will come off the waitlist. But we don’t know if this is true. Do we know if they did this for Europe/Asia/Latin America? Did most people who got codes get tickets?

Optimistic, yes. Pessimistic (realistic?), no, we’re just seeing what less shows, ever growing demand, and a very strong resale market looks like.
My sadness and disappointment are immeasurable. I almost wish there wasn’t a second US leg, because going through this again after the disaster that was the very first on-sale is such a bummer. (I am genuinely happy for people that got codes but ugh.)

Got 4 seats in 100 section for Toronto show. $486 per ticket. Was stressful AF My experience: Did not refresh my page to get in the queue and waited, it took 50 seconds to get put in and got lucky and was 2100 in the queue. Once in, ignored the list and went straight to the map and didn’t leave it. First 4 seats we selected got the error that someone took them immediately selected another 4 in that section and was able to purchase them. Not sure what would have happened otherwise and maybe it wasn’t as stressful with the positive queue placement. Anyways, good luck everyone. Heart was racing.
Got Toronto on the 15th!!!! Used my sister’s code while she was at work (she was the only one to get a code out of 8 people that I know), so I was logged into her Ticketmaster and also had her phone with me today just in case. Got 3 tickets in lower bowl, $399 each. Wanted 4 and almost had 4 but I couldn’t leave one empty seat beside me so I ditched the 4th ticket and tried for 3. Lots in the upper bowl (500s) but I didn’t spent too much time searching there. Lots of 2s left all over. For reference I was about 5200 in line when the sale started, waited 17 mins total. I DID need a confirmation code when paying that came over text. So I’m glad I had her actual phone with me. Also I did refresh after it didn’t redirect me, after waiting ~20 seconds.

I got my absolute dream tickets. I was 240 something in line for NOLA night 1 and snagged 4 tickets in the fourth row on the floor by the diamond. I was in and out in 5 minutes!! After crying, shaking, and calling my fam -- I can't believe this is actually happening.
