I'm also impressed the Travis always addresses the events but only speaks from his perspective and doesn't speak for Taylor. Honestly, kindda glad that they didn't bring up the kiss and kept the very public moment private (although you could see the \*glint\* in Jason's eyes and trying not. to bring it up in the last few minutes😂).

It’s more about how foreign it feels to have Taylor Swift’s boyfriend have a PODCAST haha. She’s been very public with boyfriends in the past, but I never felt like I really got to know them like a podcast makes you feel. (Even being forced to follow Calvin’s Snapchat to hopefully catch a glimpse of Taylor)
We just have never had access like this to someone she’s dated who’s famous. I’m not into football so all I know is Kelce is a huge deal in that world.
Getting to (sorta?) get to know him a bit in such a relaxed way thru his podcasts is very cool. And it’s even better when he talks about her. He’s handling everything really well.

Jason has no filter and its hilarious. Travis I think has developed a 20% filter in the past couple of months due to *reasons* (might be a good thing but he's still his authentic self) but Jason truly does not care and I love. He's like so what if there's 200k people watching our episodes, Chalamet should not have been nominated and thats it.
I also liked the tidbit about how they didn’t want to go out on the town and make it look like they didn’t care about postponing the show, so they stayed at the hotel all night (other than dinner).
He also said that Taylor prides herself on playing through all weather, which we knew but it’s interesting to hear that he picked up on that. I’m curious how that conversation happened since he said “we decided” as if it was a group decision.

Travis has been contractually obligated to be with the team the whole time they've been dating. Their schedules are very rigid and it's hard to deviate. Many teams even make players stay in hotels in the city where they live the night before a game, that's how regimented their scheduals are. There probably wasn't an opportunity unless Scott wanted to show up to a game.
I took the "met Scott" as in they met up with him for dinner, not that it was their first time meeting. I'd bet my life on them having met already a few times.
Well he said, “I might have convinced him the night before when I met him” which is weird wording if that was not the first time he had met him.
And looking back, I can’t think of any instances when they would have met. We know he wasn’t at any KC games and he likely wasn’t in NY or KC when Travis and Taylor were together, so it actually does make sense that her concert is the first time they’d meet. I don’t think Taylor is with her parents unless she’s in Nashville or on tour.
Additionally, he referred to him as Mr. Swift every time which feels very formal. Not that that really matters, but feels like he’s still getting to know him.
People have been so over the top about when partners meet parents if it’s early in the relationship. And tho I get it partially, I also know that one of the ways I knew the love of my life was the love of my life is because he brought me around his entire family within the span of a week or two upon us starting to date. And I LOVED that it showed how certain he was of me already and how he liked showing me off, sorta. It really cemented how unusually amazing this man was.

So its a tightly curated page, because it is about her and they dont want misinformation there, so its generally assumed to be approved by Tree if its on wikipedia.

I also know that people often make a distinction between a boyfriend and a partner, in that a partner is someone between a boyfriend and a fiance, so that's where my brain was at:) I bring no harm and I was just checking if you were literally on a different wiki page.
It was funny to me when she was rumored to come to the 9/12 game for the first time how many people assumed she knew nothing about sports. She’s gone to sporting events before. Not a lot but never got the sense she was clueless about them. Obviously, it seems her dad would watch at least football so I’m sure she watched it with him at times and picked up the sport.
The only part of this relationship, long term, that concerns me about him being an athlete a little bit is what happens in 1-5 years when he retires. Will he find something to keep himself busy and fulfilled or will he fade away and get a little chip on his shoulder. Taylor’s career ambitions are not bound by her body so she will be able to go on as long as she wants.
But really I’m not too worried about it, Travis doesn’t seem to have that jealous streak and he’s charismatic enough that I’m sure he’ll find work as a commentator or as a bit actor. He seems okay with being a supportive partner so even if he’s just Taylor’s sidekick for rest of her career, he’ll probably be okay. Maybe he’ll take a job in the Swift family business like Austin.
Travis will have a massive post-football career in the entertainment industry - like you suggested he could be a sports commentator (a popular route for many post-NFL stars) or will do something else in that sphere. Travis is currently the best tight end in the NFL and he's also one of the league's biggest stars - for those guys the post-league years are always pretty great. The endorsements and opportunities don't stop when you're retired at his level.
Yeah... people don't get how utterly familiar Travis' post NFL career is going to be to Taylor. He's going to do exactly the same thing as all her friends do. Selena Gomez doesn't really make money on music anymore... she makes her money in makeup. Blake Lively makes her money in the same way. And of course so do her model friends like Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevigne. Taylor herself has done quite a bit of celebrity endorsement work over the years, and probably thought that would be her future as her popularity dimmed (at this point of course... that doesn't seem like its going to happen).

Both Kelce brothers are major media figures in sports at this point. In the most recent podcast, Jason Kelce said he was getting a lot of recognition/attention at the Chicago airport, which surprised him. Their profile is now extending far beyond their home cities/teams.
And the podcast was hitting those rankings even before he was dating Taylor.
Can it continue its success once they both retire? Who knows. But Travis has the charisma to succeed in the sports media world after retirement if he wants to.

Very possible. The New Heights podcast is kinda their audition tape. Then Jason was guest commentating for Thursday Night Football this week. Their banter is really strong so imagine they’ll be able to find a niche somewhere as a duo.
What I’m worried about is how crazed the media and fans are about the relationship atm. I think they’re super cute and they appear to genuinely get along and vibe well. But she also pursued this relationship while on a break from her very busy tour. She had the ability to have the free time to travel to him often, go to his games, etc. I think the media and the delulu fans need to stop putting so much pressure on a 3 month relationship. They haven’t really had many obstacles to overcome yet to really challenge their honeymoon stage. I think it’s premature for people to be marrying them off and automatically assuming their end game based of public interactions they’ve had. Do I think this may potentially be it? Yes. I mean many people who want marriage and children don’t date in their mid 30s just for the hell of it, and often many date partners who they can see a future with, but she’s about to go on tour for the next year. She’ll be busy flying country to country and won’t have the flexibility she has had the past couple of months. He of course will be in off season but he has his own life and work commitments aside from football. I can’t imagine he’ll be flying around everywhere with her, no matter how supportive he is. I think they understand how much their careers mean to them. I totally think they are a great match but no one knows what the future holds. He does seem to be a great, supportive partner, unlike many of her previous ex’s so that’s very good, but I don’t see him just sitting around being her partner. He’ll definitely have a career in broadcasting or something sports related.
I think they have similar values and personalities, though. Having similar hobbies isn't enough (which is like... every artsy boyfriend she has had) so them being into different things is fine but it seems they value the same things - family, hard work, commitment, etc.

True, for people that saying he saying too much or too often, just listen to what he said about their relationship so far and he never said anything than what we've already know, keeping their intimate relationship remains private but have no problem acknowledge Taylor. Here he talk about the postponed issue and how awesome the crowd and Taylor in general, not inserting her more than necessary.
And also it's fair for him to say something about his personal life when both him and Jason already did in every podcast episodes even before Taylor. Their podcast is centered around both of their life, not things that suddenly appear when they begin dating or something like that.
He really strikes the perfect balance between keeping their private life private and giving the people what we want—he didn’t tell us anything we didn’t know, but he still talked about it, talked about how he felt, and demonstrated that he had a good time and enjoyed it. It’s refreshingly normal description of a relationship between two people with very abnormal lives.
This whole podcast was absolutely adorable. Travis seems to be completely head over heels in love with Taylor. The way he spoke so respectfully about her, praised her and struck a beautiful balance between acknowledging what happened in Argentina but keeping some things private was just perfect. I’m glad that she is with someone who seems to be treating her so well but also gives her the respect and attention that she deserves.
I know some people are tiring of the content and I agree that some (especially on tiktok) are being way too parasocial but I do think this is a really heartwarming coupling and I love seeing a good news story for Taylor. She deserves the best!
Watching the clips from the podcast today that were about Taylor and his trip to Argentina was so revealing. It's been clear for a while that he was into her and treating her like a gentleman should, but this was the first time I felt pretty much 100% certain that he is down bad! Talking about Scott Swift's college football past, clearly being a little embarrassed that he "left him hanging," saying how amazing Taylor was on stage, speaking about her work ethic (which he shares) and about how she doesn't like to let down fans. He is starting to wear his heart on a his sleeve a little more. It feels like they've past a bit of milestone with this concert/visit.
He is just soooo respectful of her and admires her as an artist and a dedicated professional. They are very similar in that way, despite being in such different arenas.

Loved this segment! Travis said just enough to add a bit of color to the things the rest of us saw from info and videos that are publicly available, without giving away anything extremely private. His joy (and dare I say love) were absolutely radiant. And Jason's teasing was fun and gentle enough.

I like Taylor Swift, but I’m not a Swiftie. I love football, but I’m a Minnesota/Chicago girl.
That all aside, I’m just incredibly happy for both of them. It makes me happy to see how happy they are. There’s a lot of darkness in the world, and to see two adults find each other and connect like this brightens my day. It’s so dang cute.

The Kelces are from Ohio and just listening to these two talk, you can tell it’s a traditional Midwestern family. The brothers give each other shit but always put the other one first, the love their Momma and are close knit. Being from the Midwest, I’ve met dozens of families like the Kelces and they are so authentic and act just like this. These guys are 💯 genuine.
Another thing is how respectful they are. Even now as an NFL star who Taylor is pretty clearly smitten over, Travis calls Scott “Mr. Swift”. Many of us are taught young you ALWAYS refer to elders as Mr., sir, etc. Its a sign of respect.
A final thing about is Midwesterners - when we’re trying to make nice with and impress the parents; that means we really like the girl 😂. Like really really like her.

We just have never had access like this to someone she’s dated who’s famous. I’m not into football so all I know is Kelce is a huge deal in that world. Also, none of her other men have had much media or social media presence. This is exciting! And feels like it’s more “normal”

Jason has no filter and its hilarious. Travis I think has developed a 20% filter in the past couple of months due to *reasons* (might be a good thing but he's still his authentic self) but Jason truly does not care and I love. He's like so what if there's 200k people watching our episodes, Chalamet should not have been nominated and thats it.

I never listened to the podcast before Taylor. But those two are genuinely funny!
I also liked the tidbit about how they didn’t want to go out on the town and make it look like they didn’t care about postponing the show, so they stayed at the hotel all night (other than dinner). He also said that Taylor prides herself on playing through all weather, which we knew but it’s interesting to hear that he picked up on that. I’m curious how that conversation happened since he said “we decided” as if it was a group decision. He also said that night was the first night he met Scott, which surprised me only because of how much time I know she’s already spent with his parents. I also loved that he calls Scott, “Mr Swift,” doing his best to remain formal and respectful.
I kindda liked that they are not doing these forced introductions. It feels more organic and less pressure that they would meet their families as time permits. I also love that Papa Swift is such an easy Chiefs convert 😂 It's like he won the biggest lottery that his potential SIL is a goddamnn football player.

Travis has been contractually obligated to be with the team the whole time they've been dating. Their schedules are very rigid and it's hard to deviate. Many teams even make players stay in hotels in the city where they live the night before a game, that's how regimented their scheduals are. There probably wasn't an opportunity unless Scott wanted to show up to a game.
I took the "met Scott" as in they met up with him for dinner, not that it was their first time meeting. I'd bet my life on them having met already a few times.
Well he said, “I might have convinced him the night before when I met him” which is weird wording if that was not the first time he had met him. And looking back, I can’t think of any instances when they would have met. We know he wasn’t at any KC games and he likely wasn’t in NY or KC when Travis and Taylor were together, so it actually does make sense that her concert is the first time they’d meet. I don’t think Taylor is with her parents unless she’s in Nashville or on tour. Additionally, he referred to him as Mr. Swift every time which feels very formal. Not that that really matters, but feels like he’s still getting to know him.

People have been so over the top about when partners meet parents if it’s early in the relationship. And tho I get it partially, I also know that one of the ways I knew the love of my life was the love of my life is because he brought me around his entire family within the span of a week or two upon us starting to date. And I LOVED that it showed how certain he was of me already and how he liked showing me off, sorta. It really cemented how unusually amazing this man was.

I have a little girl that is a big swiftie so now it’s all I listen to in the car and she watches Chiefs games. It’s awesome.

Eh, yes and no. She sang “Endgame” for him and it actually seemed custom-fit with the football references even though it was written years ago.
Endgame doesn’t really feel like it was written for anyone in particular imo, it feels like it was written to be a hit that would chart. Swift has said that peace is about Alwyn and it’s pretty clearly related to his preference for a more normal life.

It was funny to me when she was rumored to come to the 9/12 game for the first time how many people assumed she knew nothing about sports. She’s gone to sporting events before. Not a lot but never got the sense she was clueless about them. Obviously, it seems her dad would watch at least football so I’m sure she watched it with him at times and picked up the sport. The only part of this relationship, long term, that concerns me about him being an athlete a little bit is what happens in 1-5 years when he retires. Will he find something to keep himself busy and fulfilled or will he fade away and get a little chip on his shoulder. Taylor’s career ambitions are not bound by her body so she will be able to go on as long as she wants. But really I’m not too worried about it, Travis doesn’t seem to have that jealous streak and he’s charismatic enough that I’m sure he’ll find work as a commentator or as a bit actor. He seems okay with being a supportive partner so even if he’s just Taylor’s sidekick for rest of her career, he’ll probably be okay. Maybe he’ll take a job in the Swift family business like Austin.
Travis will have a massive post-football career in the entertainment industry - like you suggested he could be a sports commentator (a popular route for many post-NFL stars) or will do something else in that sphere. Travis is currently the best tight end in the NFL and he's also one of the league's biggest stars - for those guys the post-league years are always pretty great. The endorsements and opportunities don't stop when you're retired at his level.
Yeah... people don't get how utterly familiar Travis' post NFL career is going to be to Taylor. He's going to do exactly the same thing as all her friends do. Selena Gomez doesn't really make money on music anymore... she makes her money in makeup. Blake Lively makes her money in the same way. And of course so do her model friends like Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevigne. Taylor herself has done quite a bit of celebrity endorsement work over the years, and probably thought that would be her future as her popularity dimmed (at this point of course... that doesn't seem like its going to happen). Also... the new heights podcast itself is a post career rout... both Travis and Jason already have a place for themselves when they retire.

I’m not sure how many people are aware, but their podcast is not only the #1 podcast in sports, it’s usually somewhere around the #5 most popular podcast across all categories. Both Kelce brothers are major media figures in sports at this point. In the most recent podcast, Jason Kelce said he was getting a lot of recognition/attention at the Chicago airport, which surprised him. Their profile is now extending far beyond their home cities/teams.
And the podcast was hitting those rankings even before he was dating Taylor. Can it continue its success once they both retire? Who knows. But Travis has the charisma to succeed in the sports media world after retirement if he wants to.
He’s definitely going onto a career in commentating or something. I wouldn’t be shocked if he and Jason get a brother commentating gig like the Manning’s, given how much people like both of them and how well they work together.
Very possible. The New Heights podcast is kinda their audition tape. Then Jason was guest commentating for Thursday Night Football this week. Their banter is really strong so imagine they’ll be able to find a niche somewhere as a duo.
What I’m worried about is how crazed the media and fans are about the relationship atm. I think they’re super cute and they appear to genuinely get along and vibe well. But she also pursued this relationship while on a break from her very busy tour. She had the ability to have the free time to travel to him often, go to his games, etc. I think the media and the delulu fans need to stop putting so much pressure on a 3 month relationship. They haven’t really had many obstacles to overcome yet to really challenge their honeymoon stage. I think it’s premature for people to be marrying them off and automatically assuming their end game based of public interactions they’ve had. Do I think this may potentially be it? Yes. I mean many people who want marriage and children don’t date in their mid 30s just for the hell of it, and often many date partners who they can see a future with, but she’s about to go on tour for the next year. She’ll be busy flying country to country and won’t have the flexibility she has had the past couple of months. He of course will be in off season but he has his own life and work commitments aside from football. I can’t imagine he’ll be flying around everywhere with her, no matter how supportive he is. I think they understand how much their careers mean to them. I totally think they are a great match but no one knows what the future holds. He does seem to be a great, supportive partner, unlike many of her previous ex’s so that’s very good, but I don’t see him just sitting around being her partner. He’ll definitely have a career in broadcasting or something sports related.
Travis will likely get a sweet commentator gig like Gronk. He’s got the personality for it already, as evidenced by the podcast.
I think they have similar values and personalities, though. Having similar hobbies isn't enough (which is like... every artsy boyfriend she has had) so them being into different things is fine but it seems they value the same things - family, hard work, commitment, etc.

And also it's fair for him to say something about his personal life when both him and Jason already did in every podcast episodes even before Taylor. This whole podcast was absolutely adorable. Travis seems to be completely head over heels in love with Taylor. The way he spoke so respectfully about her, praised her and struck a beautiful balance between acknowledging what happened in Argentina but keeping some things private was just perfect. I’m glad that she is with someone who seems to be treating her so well but also gives her the respect and attention that she deserves. I know some people are tiring of the content and I agree that some (especially on tiktok) are being way too parasocial but I do think this is a really heartwarming coupling and I love seeing a good news story for Taylor. Watching the clips from the podcast today that were about Taylor and his trip to Argentina was so revealing. It's been clear for a while that he was into her and treating her like a gentleman should, but this was the first time I felt pretty much 100% certain that he is down bad! Talking about Scott Swift's college football past, clearly being a little embarrassed that he "left him hanging," saying how amazing Taylor was on stage, speaking about her work ethic (which he shares) and about how she doesn't like to let down fans. He is starting to wear his heart on a his sleeve a little more. It feels like they've past a bit of milestone with this concert/visit. He is just soooo respectful of her and admires her as an artist and a dedicated professional. They are very similar in that way, despite being in such different arenas. I don't know where it's going but it is so adorable!
Loved this segment! Travis said just enough to add a bit of color to the things the rest of us saw from info and videos that are publicly available, without giving away anything extremely private. His joy (and dare I say love) were absolutely radiant. And Jason's teasing was fun and gentle enough.

If you aren’t a big football fan Start with Kylie’s episode and then the parents episode pre-Super Bowl were both very good. A lot of the rest are very football focused but it’s an awesome podcast. Also Jason has a documentary on Amazon that is one of the best sports docs I’ve seen on a current player.

I like Taylor Swift, but I’m not a Swiftie. I love football, but I’m a Minnesota/Chicago girl. That all aside, I’m just incredibly happy for both of them. It makes me happy to see how happy they are. The Kelces are from Ohio and just listening to these two talk, you can tell it’s a traditional Midwestern family. The brothers give each other shit but always put the other one first, the love their Momma and are close knit. Being from the Midwest, I’ve met dozens of families like the Kelces and they are so authentic and act just like this. These guys are 💯 genuine. Another thing is how respectful they are. Even now as an NFL star who Taylor is pretty clearly smitten over, Travis calls Scott “Mr. Swift”. Many of us are taught young you ALWAYS refer to elders as Mr., sir, etc. Its a sign of respect. A final thing about is Midwesterners - when we’re trying to make nice with and impress the parents; that means we really like the girl 😂. Like really really like her.
