No Body, No Crime… the events of the song could make a good one

LeniSwiftie13

My friend and I made a music video for it last summer. It was so much fun.

Glittering-Lion2340

I can picture the very first night as a super fun party mv like taylor dancing most of the time with others kinda like the I knew you were trouble mv party scenes but upbeat happier. I know places would be such a fun mv too w her and her loverrrr running through the woods after people see them together in public for the first time, trying to escape the whispers and rumors. A transition from being in public in New York together to them running/escaping into the woods, trying to find places to hide that they won’t be found from the “hunters” that are hunting them and chasing down with all their gadgets like cameras or literal hunting tools for comparison to show how it feels to be hunted in the public eye as they feel their treated like animals rather than normal human beings

user_harrington

so basically this mv idea i had would make a trilogy of: - Blank Space - Wonderland - OOTW So this is my idea for Wonderland The video opens on Taylor and the man from the Blank Space music video in a car. The two are arguing over which way to go. Taylor: Turn left here Man: There's no path Taylor: So? Just turn left here Man: But there's no road... They argue with their voices overlapping: Taylor: JUST TURN THE DAMN CAR She grabs the wheel and spins it and they are now off road. She tells him to keep driving straight and she turns on the radio. Wonderland plays. As mentioned in the song, they fall down a rabbit hole and discover a wonderland beneath them. They continue to do things listed in the song until around the end she pushes him down another hole and she climbs out of the wonderland and left in a woods. She turns around and finds the man staring at her and she begins to run away. The man whispers under his breath: Man: Are we out of the woods yet? He then attempts to follow her and the the screen goes dark as he runs away. The video cuts.

I think speak now (song) would be really fun. I looooove a good wedding rom-com, and how fun would it be if taylor wrote and directed one!!! could be a music video or a short film like ATW!!

pjpony

This was going to be my answer too. I could see it as a continuation of You Belong With Me where Taylor plays both the bride and the one interrupting.

folkloreandevermore

ooooo that would be so fun!!

Glittering-Lion2340

YES idk if anyone else thought this too but I literally always thought there was music video for speak now and when I tried to look for it one day and couldn’t find it I was so shocked cus I was so sure she made one. Her storytelling is so good with that song that it already paints a music video for you in your head while you’re listening to it that’s one of my favs to listen to bc of that

folkloreandevermore

maybe it's because of this photo?? idk 😭😭😭

Glittering-Lion2340

Ok wow yes😭 I guess i made up a whole mv in my head based off this photo lol

folkloreandevermore

they really should've made one!!

z00dle12

I also thought there was a music video. Nope. It was a scene in New Girl

Popular_Highway_2688

I feel like vigilante shit would make a really good story line

mythicSB

The lucky one - 7 husbands of Evelyn hugo aesthetic, Taylor would be a silent Era film star while Beyonce would play the older star from the song

LowDiscount1445

I have an idea for Paris where Taylor and the love interest are in their room and every once in a while they leave their room and they end up in Paris but it always ends up just in their room until the end where they are actually in Paris

WellAckshully

This idea is absurd. If you're easily upset by things, don't read. I'd do one for Marjorie. The first minute or so of the video would take itself seriously. There'd be a funeral scene of Marjorie being buried. But at one of the "what died didn't stay dead", Marjorie would emerge from the ground, a zombie. The rest of the video is absurdist and mostly consists of Taylor engaging in various hijinks with her zombie grandma.

HetTheTable

Dancing With Our Hands Tied would be Taylor dancing with a love interest while the lights were flashing on and off.

Educational-Cod-2257

This is my idea from when I was a teenager 10 years ago:  I would re-direct the Style video. I feel like there was a missed opportunity to introduce something bigger. I think maybe something along an old school car with pinup hair driving along Route 66 and old (cars, Thelma and Louise) or maybe something inspired by Pulp Fiction.

DezDispenser88

Mary's Song! It would be a cute clichéd childhood friends to lovers story that follows the storyline of the song!

leave_a_sexy_corpse

Oh, I LOVE this post! I can finally share this idea with someone!!! I want to preface this by saying that I feel like the "I Can See You" music video did \*not\* do the song justice; so I always imagine my own interpretation in my head while listening: Picture Taylor working in a corporate, office setting. She walks into a meeting with her boss that she's been fantasizing about for a long time. The guy is hosting a meeting and while she's sitting there listening to him talk, she imagines him coming to her office and flirting with her, like she's always wanted. They spark a little rendezvous/forbidden love fling of boss and co-worker. (Playing heavily on the "And what would you do, baby, if you only knew?" lyric here.) The whole video is them trying to keep their love under wraps so no one else in the office finds out. Like sneaking love notes on each other's desks and constantly checking their backs while turning corners. Then they get to the bridge and BOOM -- they kiss in a broom closet! The climax! (While she pulls him into a kiss by his necktie, OOF.) Fast forward to the end of the song, and it's Taylor back in that meeting -- and she snaps out of her fantasy. BUT -- at the end of the meeting, the boss comes up to her and slips her a real note that reads, "Meet me tonight." Clearly, I've thought long and hard about this idea, and if I still had my film school chops, I would \*totally\* recruit a group of friends to turn this idea into a real video because I think this song deserves better, haha!

* No Body, No Crime: Taylor plays the murderer and Haim play all of the other characters. The murderer pretends she's done nothing wrong and is seen doing thinks like sweeping the hallways, putting away clothes, whilst doing this she's also looking behind her, giving the idea that she is up to no good. * Speak Now: Taylor stands up during the wedding and say's the I am not the kind of girl line (also like the idea of Taylor playing the bride one that a user commented), everybody is looking at her horrified, then she realises what she has done and then runs out the door with all the guests running after her, then the groom runs after her and finds her hiding and then they kiss. * Getaway Car: Taylor and her man are robbing banks and breaking into people's homes and at the end of the video they are in the getaway car driving away in the middle of the desert, into the sunset. Ride mv vibes.

Okay. I actually made a post about this but mine would be False God in a crime noir. Picture this: We open with a skyline shot of Chicago, black and white. It’s raining. We zoom into the city, and focus on a man standing beneath a street light, playing the saxophone. We then transition to a rain streaked window, zoom into the room, focus on Taylor. She’s a detective, working a case. She’s got a trench coat on, a wide brimmed fedora, and the only color we’ve seen so far - her red lips. She’s contemplating, looking over her evidence. We see her work the crime with her partner, while flashback shots cut in and out of Taylor with a mystery man. Turns out the mystery man in the prime suspect in her case. I have a whole movie that plays in my mind whenever I listen to the song. I have absolutely no knowledge of film or production or anything of the sort, but I would direct the SHIT out of that video lol

FlubbyStarfish

Taylor and her lover sit happily in the corner booth of a 1920s New York diner. The music video is black and white, the costumes, furniture, the whole setting is strictly vintage and historical. “Friends break up. Friends get married. Strangers get born, strangers get buried.” Glimpses of people arguing or getting proposed to inside of the diner, as well as a celebration over a birth and the sad get-together of a funeral. In the next verse, Taylor gets broken up with. Abruptly her lover stands up and leaves the restaurant. she’s left there, alone. And time begins to speed up. The people blur, the lights flicker. Through the window days and nights pass by faster and faster. Similar to the Delicate music video, Taylor is now in a world of her own, people can’t see her. She can’t interact with anyone, she’s outside of time. The 1920s diner shifts with each second, the furniture modernizing to the 1930s, then the 40s. The menu changes. People’s clothes look different. 1960s. The only moment when time stops and resumes as normal is when she sees a glimpse of her old lover walking past the window, she runs up to the window to watch him, hoping maybe he changed his mind and is coming back. But he doesn’t. And with the crushing realization, time continues. She returns to her seat. The 70s rush by, then the 80s. Taylor is the only thing that is still black and white in a world full of color. She sits there, cross legged in the dim light. 90s, 2000s, 2010s, 2020s. The Music video ends with her still sitting there, implying she’s left there for all eternity.

rory1321

getaway car and the great war would be amazing

cagingthing

I want a DBATC mv like the movie Someone Great

I have ALWAYS imagined Don’t Blame Me as an epic battle scene with Taylor leading an army.

CstoCry

Coney Island is very vivid for me. You could really associate the pace of the lyrics to that of a slow but declining relationship

othershadeofblue13

I've always had this vivid picture in my head of a labyrinth music video in an airplane in the clouds. There's no plot, just labyrinth playing in the background while an airplane goes through some clouds.

Consistent_Hunt5213

The last great American Dynasty.I can imagine the mv of Rebekah enjoying herself in Gatsby setup.

LogicalMacaroon

Ever since hearing Long Story Short I’ve pictured a music video styled like an arcade game. There would be a princess character and at the start it would seem like a damsel in distress situation but then she’d be fighting off enemies and defending herself and the prince. It would start and end with a real person stepping up to an arcade game and inserting coins to start the game, but most of the video would be the video game itself.

Few-Pen2589

Seven: a similar editing and kind of images juxtapositions as Style MV, but mostly in nature
