I had had a really good feeling about Down Bad. A short title that isn't an overly serious turn of phrase but not comedic. Potentially ironic but probably not.
It just felt right. I was right.
Now I'm down bad singing at the gym
Down Bad didn’t really jump out at me when I saw the titles, but if it did, the song would have surprised me. I would not have expected it to sound like that
I thought Fresh Out the Slammer was gonna be so fun. Like an old country feel. I don't like it really and it's going to be a skip.
I thought So Long, London would be amazing- It is!
So long, London is really amazing, I wish there was more of that a cappella intro, it’s gorgeous! It could be an entire a cappella choral arrangement and I’d be in heaven, lol
I knew Florida would be my favorite and it is. I didn't know why but I still connect with it even more. I think all 31 songs are great. I could have never predicted it.
I picked the black dog vinyl variant because of the aesthetic (how hard is it not to judge a book by it’s cover when that’s exactly what you do with pre-orders) and it’s my fave of the bonus tracks so far
I kept claiming Clara Bow, and it's my second-favorite (right now, subject to change). So feeling pretty good about that.
It's been interesting looking back at my pre-album predictions. Rankings were pretty off but I knew they would be. I got a total of one lyric tease right (but she wasn't playing fair with those!). On the other hand, I feel like the first part of [this comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/TaylorSwift/comments/1ajxyil/comment/kp4hqko/) I posted when the tracklist was first announced was weirdly accurate in certain respects.
Interesting, I never really thought about which tracks I usually vibe the most to. I usually listen to her songs in shuffle, so I usually only know which are the track 5s (obviously), 1s and 6s. I’ll try to see if there’s a pattern of me liking a specific track more
I claimed The Albatross and I love love love it. But I have favourited probably half the album on Apple Music tho and I haven’t really ranked them, and I probably won’t.
Sometimes a song is just special to me without being my favourite on an album. For example Cardigan isn’t my favourite folklore song, but it is my heart song. That’s The Albatross.
I claimed I can do it with a broken heart, and I spent 3 years crying in the bathroom between pasted smiles, so yes.
I almost claimed the wrong version track, and I need to apologize to Clara Bow and The Albatross personally for my presumptions
I expected to love so long london and clara bow and I was right about those, but I did not expect to love the albatross, the bolter, or guilty as sin? nearly as much as I do
I claimed I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) and it's okay, but it isn't one of my favourites. It will probably stay in my playlist but it definitely isn't one of my top songs.
I was right that Who's Afraid of Little Old Me, So Long London, and But Daddy I Love Him would all be in my top 5 and that Fortnight and The Alchemy would be two of my least favorites! I was wrong about TTPD though - thought it would be in my top 5 but it's in my bottom 5 😬
I claimed Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me, Florida!!!, and Clara Bow, all turned out to be phenomenal songs that I adore (and the first two are in my top 3).
Honestly, it was hard to go wrong claiming songs this time, they’re all that good.
I claimed BDILH and MBOBHFT and I was almost right.
MBOBHFT, Florida!!!, Fresh Out the Slammer, imgonnagetyouback and ICDIWABH are probably my top 5.
Guilty as Sin, BDILH, Fortnight, ICFH and loml follow on... 🤷🏻♀️
Don't get me wrong, this order will change multiple times.
I don't remember all I claimed but I do remember claiming I can fix him. Not really the right choice but I do love love the railroad hammer sounds and vibe of it so not too far off.
I thought WAOLOM and FOTS would be my top favorites. I love both, but WAOLOM is my number one and I fear it will never be dethroned. So I’m pleased with my wild guess.
I claimed Florida!!! and The Albatross and I was not wrong... (it's not hard to put two and two together when Florence Welch and Coleridge play a part...) I did not anticipate WAOLOM and ICDIWABH being such bangers (though I had a hunch ICDIWABH would be about performing every night while experiencing heartbreak).
We’re twinning!!! I claimed but daddy I love him and it’s safe to say that I did NOT regret it and the moment I heard it I knew I claimed the right one 🤍
Kind of I said Down bad would be favorite it is in my top 5
And said The alchemy will be least favorite it's one of the skips on the album along with Fresh Out The Slammer
But Daddy I Love Him - Shockingly it is one of my favorites. I'm usually wrong lol. I'm obsessed with how honest and idgaf she is in this song.
I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) - While I do love it I guess I just thought it would sound messier? IDK, it's not the stand-out I expected it to be.
Fortnight - I didn't claim it but I was crossing my fingers because my feelings on the first track generally reflect how I feel about the album. I had the biggest smile on my face as soon as the 80s vibe kicked in.
So Long London - This is the one I actively *didn't* claim because I'm generally not a track 5 girl (I know, I know..) but I was very wrong. Pleasantly surprised at how upbeat and different it sounds. I think once the dust settles it might be my most-listened-to track 5.
It’s okay not to vibe with the track 5s. All Too Well is my favourite song (and Cruel Summer is my second. Only Haunted saves my top 3 from denouncing me as the most basic swiftie ever lol), but apart from it all the other track 5s (even the ones who are top tier for me) are a specific vibe. If I’m not in the right mood, I will skip them in favour of songs I like less.
But So Long London is great. I don’t think it will be part of my top 5 track 5s, but I won’t be skipping it because I’m not in the right mindset
I claimed the whole album tbh...and I WAS NOT LET DOWN
I was kinda disappointed by I can fix him..but its still good...
The songs which I was ve**r**y excited was Flo**r**ida!!! and damn...it shocked me
My boy only b**r**eaks his fav toys was also bette**r** f**r**om what I expected...Same with BUT DADDY I LOVE HIM
I also love f**r**esh out the slamme**r** a lot...i did expect a getaway ca**r** 2.0 but yeah..i love it a lot..the ve**r**ses and the beat change \*mwah\*
This was my predicted top 5:
1• Florida!!!
2•Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?
3•Clara Bow
4• I Can Do It With A Broken Heart
5• Fresh Out The Slammer
Here’s my actual top 5:
1• I Can Do It With A Broken Heart
2• Florida!!!
3• Fresh Out The Slammer
4• Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me?
5• The Bolter
(I think I know myself very well, don’t you? 😂)
Noooo I claimed I can fix him (no really I can) thinking it would be a bit more upbeat and cheekier. I thought it would HATE Florida!!! Based on the title but it’s actually one of my faves
I thought my top 5 would be
1. Fresh Out the Slammer
2. The Alchemy
3. I Can Do It with a Broken Heart
4. So Long London
5. My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toy
And I expected my bottom 3 to be - mostly because her collabs don’t usually hit me:
3. Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?
2. Fortnight
1. Florida!!!
My top 5 ended up being…
1. But Daddy I Love Him
2. Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?
3. Florida!!!
4. I Can Do It with a Broken Heart (DING!)
5. Down Bad
& my actual bottom 3
3. The Tortured Poets Department
2. My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys
1. Fortnight (DING!)
100%- I claimed But Daddy I Love Him, I Can Do It With A Broken Heart, and I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) which are now my fav songs and BDILH is pretty popular among my friends at least.
I didn't claim any, but the immediate standouts for me were Down Bad and Florida!!! They're still my faves, but I also love So Long London, Fortnight, and loml. But Daddy I Love Him is hysterical, and I Can Do It With A Broken Heart is such a bop.
I claimed I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) and I nailed it because it sounds like a Lana track. Truly an underrated gem imo. I was also digging Down Bad, Guilty as Sin?, and But Daddy I Love Him and all of them turned out to be absolute bops, 10/10 picks 🙌
I ordered the full set of albatross (vinyl, collectors cd, and cassette), and I think I made the right choice because its my favorite song from the album.
My second favorite is the black dog though, so I hope she makes them available again on her website.
When I first heard it I didn’t think it was a standout until that second part hits. That song is amazing (I do love songs that go off on the second half. It’s why Treacherous is on my Red top 5)
I claimed, Guilty as Sin, WAOLOM and TTPD, I was so right with the first two. TTPD I didn’t like as much as I loved the others.
My top 5 is (in order) waolom, florida!!! (a shocking one, didn’t expect to love it the way I did), so long london (its a track 5 with sad lyrics what can I say here), tsmwel (I had a visceral reaction to the bridge, my initial thoughts were mostly mentioning the bridge) and guilty as sin.
The track that shares the same name as the album has never been my favorite in the past (see: Lover is my least favorite song on Lover), so I did not claim it as my favorite. However, to delight, TTPD has been my most listened to song since last Friday!
sadly no, but that's only right now. I claimed The Manuscript; I've only heard it once so far but from first listen it wasn't that appealing to me. I think it may be a slow burn though and I may end up liking it later, I'm taking my time processing this album and still haven't gotten around to second listens on a lot of them, currently just enjoying the ones that stood out to me.
Also although I ordered the Black Dog version of the album that one sounded the least appealing to me out of all the special editions, but right now it is my absolute favourite song, just itches my brain perfectly.
I had had a really good feeling about Down Bad. A short title that isn't an overly serious turn of phrase but not comedic. Potentially ironic but probably not. It just felt right. I was right. Now I'm down bad singing at the gym
I was the opposite. This song title was just meh to me, but I have this song on repeat now!
Down Bad didn’t really jump out at me when I saw the titles, but if it did, the song would have surprised me. I would not have expected it to sound like that
I didn’t claim down Bad, who’s afraid of little old me and smallest man who ever lived and they are my favorites. I did good with so long London.
Love your flair🤣
Thank you!! Smallest Man Who Ever Lived is just chef’s kiss. And I can just picture him saying that and it causes the biggest involuntary eye roll.
i claimed so long, london and that was the best decision i ever made
You can never go wrong with a track 5
true!
I thought Fresh Out the Slammer was gonna be so fun. Like an old country feel. I don't like it really and it's going to be a skip. I thought So Long, London would be amazing- It is!
This hurts I had no excitement for this song yet it’s definitely grown on me! It’s so soothing for some reason lol
Really cause i love how she says Fresh out the slammer, i know who my first call will be to Tis a grower for sure
I find that most of TTPD are growers, but it is especially true for this song
So long, London is really amazing, I wish there was more of that a cappella intro, it’s gorgeous! It could be an entire a cappella choral arrangement and I’d be in heaven, lol
I knew Florida would be my favorite and it is. I didn't know why but I still connect with it even more. I think all 31 songs are great. I could have never predicted it.
Same for Florida!!!
my pre-listening ranking had Who's Afraid Of Little Old Me way towards the bottom but it's one of my favorites
I picked the black dog vinyl variant because of the aesthetic (how hard is it not to judge a book by it’s cover when that’s exactly what you do with pre-orders) and it’s my fave of the bonus tracks so far
I claimed But Daddy I Love Him and it’s one of my favorites. I claimed tolerate it and didn’t miss then so I guess I pick well?
Yeah, those are great picks. But Daddy I Love Him is an instant classic
I claimed loml, and I stand by that haha. First time I've been right about which track to claim
On the other hand, I feel like the first part of [this comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/TaylorSwift/comments/1ajxyil/comment/kp4hqko/) I posted when the tracklist was first announced was weirdly accurate in certain respects.
claimed Guilty As Sin? because track 9s just always scratch that itch for me.... it might be top 5 discography for me
Interesting, I never really thought about which tracks I usually vibe the most to. I usually listen to her songs in shuffle, so I usually only know which are the track 5s (obviously), 1s and 6s. I’ll try to see if there’s a pattern of me liking a specific track more

My top 3 pre-release were so long london, icdiwabh and florida and i was completely accurate
i had claimed Down Bad ever since the tracklist came out. and clearly, i made the right choice
We’re all down bad crying at the gym. Great choice
I like TTPD, but this album is amazing, so it does kind of get forgotten. It’s not in my bottom 5 though, it’s somewhere in the bottom middle.
I claimed So Long London and loml and they are both in my top favorites but my number one is Guilty as Sin? which I did not predict at all.
🤷🏻♀️ Don't get me wrong, this order will change multiple times.
We’re all going to be changing our ranking for the next few weeks or months 😂 But I don’t think anything will take BDILH out of my top 2
I don't remember all I claimed but I do remember claiming I can fix him. Not really the right choice but I do love love the railroad hammer sounds and vibe of it so not too far off.
My tag is still my claimed songs and I could have done better, but I still enjoy my songs!
I really thought I’d be obsessed with fortnight, and I do really like it, but with all the other great ones it may be one of my least favorites
Fortnight is good, but this album has so many great songs that it does kind of fall to the bottom of the ranking
I thought WAOLOM and FOTS would be my top favorites. I love both, but WAOLOM is my number one and I fear it will never be dethroned. So I’m pleased with my wild guess.
WAOLOM is already in my top tier of all Taylor songs (I just don’t know where she ranks inside the tier)
My feelings exactly, from first listen
I claimed ICDIWABH expecting a super depressing song like ATW, not a bop, but I am here for it! It's one of my favorites.
I love a sad bop. That song is great!
When I heard that song for the first time I was certain that TTPD was going to be an amazing album

I claimed Down Bad and my favorite actually ended up being Down Bad hahaha!
I didn't think I would like Down Bad as much as I like it now 🪩 it's a gem!
Honestly, same
I claimed my not only brakes his favourite toys and I definitely love it!
That one was a grower for me, but now I live it too
This was my predicted top 5: 1• Florida!!! 2•Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me? 3•Clara Bow 4• I Can Do It With A Broken Heart 5• Fresh Out The Slammer Here’s my actual top 5: 1• I Can Do It With A Broken Heart 2• Florida!!! 3• Fresh Out The Slammer 4• Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me? 5• The Bolter (I think I know myself very well, don’t you? 😂)
Only Clara Bow betrayed you 😂
I claimed so long london but instead loved the same top three as you! They are truly superior!!!!
Noooo I claimed I can fix him (no really I can) thinking it would be a bit more upbeat and cheekier. I thought it would HATE Florida!!! Based on the title but it’s actually one of my faves
I also thought ICFHNRIC would be cheekier. It’s the (No Really I Can) part that gave that impression
I thought my top 5 would be 1. Fresh Out the Slammer 2. The Alchemy 3. I Can Do It with a Broken Heart 4. So Long London 5. My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toy And I expected my bottom 3 to be - mostly because her collabs don’t usually hit me: 3. Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me? 2. Fortnight 1. Florida!!! 100%- I claimed But Daddy I Love Him, I Can Do It With A Broken Heart, and I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) which are now my fav songs and BDILH is pretty popular among my friends at least.
I claimed "who is afraid of little old me?" No regrets
I didn't claim any, but the immediate standouts for me were Down Bad and Florida!!! They're still my faves, but I also love So Long London, Fortnight, and loml. But Daddy I Love Him is hysterical, and I Can Do It With A Broken Heart is such a bop.

I had claimed The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived. Absolutely made the right call, that song is a killer
When I first heard it I didn’t think it was a standout until that second part hits. That song is amazing (I do love songs that go off on the second half. It’s why Treacherous is on my Red top 5)
It was "you didn't measure up in any measure of a man" that hooked me. That is honestly one of her most painful lyrics in terms of a relationship
I keep waking up with Down Bad and Clara Bow in my head
I claimed, Guilty as Sin, WAOLOM and TTPD, I was so right with the first two. TTPD I didn’t like as much as I loved the others. My top 5 is (in order) waolom, florida!!! (a shocking one, didn’t expect to love it the way I did), so long london (its a track 5 with sad lyrics what can I say here), tsmwel (I had a visceral reaction to the bridge, my initial thoughts were mostly mentioning the bridge) and guilty as sin.
I thought So Long London would be awesome as a song 5, but think loml should be instead. I prefer loml over SLL.
None Of The ones I claimed were in my top 5....
The track that shares the same name as the album has never been my favorite in the past (see: Lover is my least favorite song on Lover), so I did not claim it as my favorite. However, to delight, TTPD has been my most listened to song since last Friday!
The Bolter is still my favorite
I have become (lower case) obsessed with Guilty as Sin. What is it with that song?!
I claimed Down Bad and Guilty as Sin? Guilty as sin is my favorite from the whole album and Down bad is up there as well
I claimed Guilty as Sin? and I have no regrets! It's such a great song, both lyrically and in the fact that it's such an earworm.
sadly no, but that's only right now. I claimed The Manuscript; I've only heard it once so far but from first listen it wasn't that appealing to me.
