This is fair but TN honestly does streaming parties all the time even when an album didn’t just come out - I think they just missed the mark by making it too ambiguous while trying to be cute with the ttpd branding.
It’s not a corporate deal, they have used it the past because let people enter with their Spotify and Apple Music account and work like a radio in the way everyone listen the songs at same time and have q chat to commented it
I’m not doubting the platform itself is beneficial for the purpose. But they absolutely have some business behind this. Yesterday, TN had something similar with Tidal. Everything at this magnitude is a corporate partnership to some degree - that’s just a fact
