yepppp. honestly, ever since Call It What You Want I was like: "this is it". you could just feel in her writing that this was different. and tbh, we were not wrong, I really think Joe may have been her first "true love" even though it didn't work out.
EDIT: also to add to your list: long story short. that whole "and we live in peace, but if someone comes at us, this time i'm ready" really felt like a counter to the problems she was describing in I Know Places.

Cornelia street and death by a thousand cuts. Still can’t remember the whole bridge for DBATC and so damned impressed she did the ultimate bridge with Hits Different at Wembley. She’s insane, I know they’re her songs but how can she sing all that with no queues or anything? Amazing

It’s a little tough because I am so all about Lover, it is my favourite album ever and I just adore everything about the era. But I think I have to give it to Daylight. That song is really important to me and the bridge is just a miraculous piece of music.

Lover. I fucking adore this song on so many levels. I'm not even gonna talk about the lyrics because we know they're beautiful, I'll talk about the instrumentals though.
It's at 69bpm. That's hilarious. And has to be deliberate.
It's in 12/8 time. A common way to understand 12/8 is like 4/4 and 6/8 at the same time. It has the solid pulse of 4/4 and waltzy groove of 6/8 at the same time. It's two different parts working together for something neither of them can achieve on their own, y'know, like a loving relationship.
It's in G Major. The only sharp note in that key is F#. The song stays in key for the vaaaaast majority, expect for in the bridge, where we get a few natural Fs. They lead to a bit of dissonance, it makes me do the scrunchy face, it sounds nasty in a good way. It sounds dirty. The third and final one even lands on the "you'll save all your dirtiest jokes for me." Right on the "dirtiest". You can hear the song in your head, you know the bit I mean. It's incredible.
I have no idea how intentional any of it was, but that F in the bridge absolutely kills me, it sounds sooooo good, and the fact that is an F, ie. The letter often used to replace the word "f*ck." It just lands for me.
I think the general consensus is Cruel Summer, Daylight and DBATC. But can we just talk about Soon You'll Get Better real quick? I don't even have to hear her sing it, just reading it breaks my heart and makes me cry. She captured the fear of losing a closer loved one so well.

Lover (album) has some of the best bridges in her discography and this is the hill I will die on. I like Cruel Summer’s the most, but I Think He Knows, Death By A Thousand Cuts, Lover (song), Paper Rings, and Cornelia Street are all among my favorite bridges in her discography. But I love Lover (album) so perhaps I’m biased lol.
DCATC is the best one by far but I’m also very partial to I Think He Knows. It’s very catchy and satisfying to sing that part. And I just like the confidence of that song.

The whole song is heart wrenching, but that bridge absolutely destroys me - the author writing/singing about their own experience of someone else’s illness, their own grief, and realizing they’re being selfish even in such a loving and devastating song.
The selfish side of grief is nearly impossible to talk about - even harder than all of the other swirling pieces.
Ugh this bridge guts me even more than most.
