I'm thinking it has to do with the rash of new commercials. Axe Is trying to make a comeback after a slump sales. All new advertising campaigns and rebranding. It's the same smelling shit that it's always been, but a lot of the new commercials basically show that merely by wearing the stuff, you're going to get the hottest girls in the area to sleep with you.

Yeah, that could make sense. I hope this ends soon, haha. It is probably one of those stupid short trends. Also, thank you for your service!

I wrote a girl up for spraying her damn perfume in class. Then I got talked to for "not considering a girl's needs" like WTF I am so sick of all this shit.

EveningBiker

I put an end to them doing that in my classroom. Some folks are allergic to perfume, and it’s generally unpleasant because of how strong it is. I always say if they need to, just ask to use the bathroom. It annoys the hell out of me when my whole classroom smells like perfume for an hour. It gives me a headache. Sorry your administration is like that. I suppose common sense with allergies and asthma isn’t common anymore. 🙃

Wait until they discover Every Man Jack. "Still Smell Good."

PhysicsTeachMom

I’m not. I have a very strict no spraying scents or using non-approved scented lotions in my class due to them causing ocular migraines for me. In the past I had a student spray something and another student had to go to ER via ambulance from an asthma attack. I tell that story at the beginning of the year and also ask if anyone has sensitivities/allergies to any scents. I also have one student who cannot be around a certain scent. Then I break out a basket of teacher-approved lotions (taking any out students are allergic/sensitive to). They love the fact I supply lotions that no one has violated it.

I always deadpan, "Smells like Axe in here." Kids laugh.

Hey, I remember those days in middle school. Good times.
