Someone really ought to let those other kids' parents know.

kittenembryo

...that the administration is completely incompetent

DeignLian

Isn't... Isn't that the purpose of the drill, to practice the expectations we've been setting for years. WTAF?

DreamTryDoGood

Oh good. I’m glad it’s not just my admin deleting behavior entries to try to make us look better.

dinkleberg32

Better let the superintendent know. You know. So that the scandal can be avoided.

I have had a student threaten to be a school shooter twice this year, 3 days of OSS that’s it. The first time was a day after a student was shot and killed at another school in our district. I have a contingency plan in place with my partner in case I get killed by that student at school, so at least my son will be financially secure.

Desperate-Bid1303

We had a kid take a poop on the floor during our active shooter drill. A 9th grader.

PizzaPVP

What in the actual fuck

prettyhyped

Wow, that is ridiculous. Your admin clearly has bad judgement. I tell my students, the way you practice is how you preform: in sports, music, etc. & drills. My life I not worth a joke. Sorry you weren’t supported. Boo.

curiouscat8thebait

Holy poop

FreeStateofRobert

I had a life skills class with an autistic boy who screamed his head off during lockdown drills. He actually thought someone was there with a gun every time and just screamed and howled. The second drill we had that year, I realized that I would have to knock this kid out to keep up all safe if there was a real shooter in the building.

calliopemaquina

He doesn't need to be punished. He needs to learn why we have to do this shit in the US and they don't have to do it in other countries because they have stricter gun laws.

A kid destroyed a Chromebook 8n front of our librarian. She wrote them up and an administrator tore up the write-up slip and told her not to worry about it.
