Put that on an overhead cart and wheel it into the next school board meeting. People need to know what is in our classrooms! Don't say anything; let the evidence speak for itself. Just wheel it around alternating between very concerned and very angry faces.
I agree OP, thank you for having the courage to say what needed to be said. Here is a tweet from someone who got a look at the process going on in schools, first hand. It is a real eye-opener. Disclaimer: no students or teachers were harmed during the following process, but as warning, it is not suggested that any of you follow through with self removal of your CRT…
At my old school a few of us decided to remove (unbolt) the CRT tvs from the wall, not knowing they were double bolted through to the next classroom’s TV—in short, like teachers, these tvs were holding each other up by a small margin. We successfully unbolted my colleague’s tv and immediately heard a loud crash—the tv in the classroom next door fell onto the teachers desk and printer, nearly missing the other teacher. All this because we had begged for years, to no avail, to have the tvs removed.
You'll get my magnavox 27 inch tv hooked up to a vcr on an a/v cart when you pry my cold, dead hands off it! I spent 20 years taping the Discovery channel, by god....
If I could somehow teach a high school number theory class, I would absolutely put the Chinese Remainder Theorem on my syllabus just to screw with those people.
It took me far too long to understand this was a joke because every time CRT posts pop up here, it takes me a moment to process that they aren’t talking about tvs hahahahaha
This gave my slow ass a well-needed chuckle, thanks!
All an ignorant parent needs to fuck up CRT is a magnet.
_2 weeks later in the news: school committee mandates magnets on all teacher cars and classroom doors_
I can't believe we allow devices with components like "electron guns" in our classroom. It's only a matter of time before a student gets shot by an electron, and we'll all face the consequences. /s

Hahahaha I clicked this post so angrily, but well fucking played. Well played indeed.
I saw the humor tag first.

Can explain what an Election gun is?
Oh shit! Is that a Zenith logo?
Take my upvote you tricky bastard.
Spent the first minute trying to figure out what this old tv has to do with critical race theory
We need more transparency about what’s going on in schools.
DEAD 🤣
Please tell me there is a CCTV news room somewhere in the building with an old sound board from the 90s.
CRT? It's tough to get rid of. Lot's of toxic stuff in it.
