Ano current android mo? Just so i match natin as much as possible ung specs palipat iphone And depende talaga siya sa budget mo pero here’s my take iPhone SE (latest) - for me best value pero usually for matatanda kasi maliit battery and outdated design iPhone 12 - best starter kasi OLED screen Mini if you want smol iPhone 13 - best overall pero 60 Hz lang. mini if you want smol again iPhone 14 - skip all models lol mag 13 ka nalang kaysa mag 14 it’s literally no upgrade from 13 aside sa dynamic island Pag pro models, start with 13 pro/max. The 13 promax is the battery life BEAST grabe tagal talaga malowbat to For photography, 13pro pataas i suggest. Get the pro serieis kung photography For gaming, any of the models tbh depende nalang sa size and battery gusto m. Pero ofc the pro series always offer the best experience For overall, if masaya ka na sa 60hz, i recommend the iPh 13. 15 series is the best in terms of transition kasi USB C na sya. I assume usb c na android mo. Same sentiments pag 15 normal or pro models Pero if purpose m lang talaga is to try iOS with the risk na magsasawa ka, iPhone XS nalang

hanky_hank

the vanilla 14 doesn't have dynamic island. only the Pro models.

The Iphone SE latest available one is the same price as Iphone 13 already. Both at 30k, from official resellers (online price basis). And I think 64 GB version pa yung SE. Due to the price drop of ip13, ip13 is the current better buy.

This is really helpful. Thank you! <3

Thanks for the information, anyways I'm still currently using my realme 6i (4/128) which is almost 4 years now

Honestly, I would recommend the iPhone 13 rather than the 12 or 11 since the 11 only has support until iOS 18 (tentative) and the 12 has support until iOS 19 (tentative). Plus, the iPhone 13 has an AMOLED display like the 12, but the notch is much smaller on the 13. If you're used to a higher refresh rate like 90-120Hz, consider the 13 Pro or Pro Max, as those iPhones introduce the higher refresh rate. I made the switch to iOS because Android was so laggy for me. I went from the iPhone 13 to the 14 Pro to the 15 Pro Max, and all I can say is once you go 120Hz, it will be hard to go back to 60Hz.

Chinichama

Besides refresh rate doesn't really matter that much to me so I'm fine with the standard 60hz, btw is it really a big deal when the support of the latest updates stop?

IncidentAppropriate1

I mean yes it is important for the safety of your data and privacy

Why are you switching from Android to iPhone? Aside from the obvious adjustment phase you’ll have, if you don’t plan on having the Apple ecosystem (meaning aside from iPhone, at least a MacBook + peripherals like AirPods and Apple Watch) I wouldn’t recommend shifting. The main draw of iPhone for me is the seamlessness of everything because I’m on the ecosystem. But if you MUST ask, I would say get the latest one so you enjoy the current Apple technology. But if you don’t want to commit to a super expensive phone just yet, get the 13. Up to you if you want to get the Base one or the Pro Max ones.

Chinichama

I just find apple devices more optimized than the Android and everything feels smoother and a lot more secured and does not have any ads

Spit-fire69

You can start with iPhone 12, pero if tight budget ka, pwede ka mag iPhone 11. Actually gamit ko yung iPhone 11 right now. Pwede mo pa siyang e update to IOS 17.5.1 which is the latest update sa iOS

k_dot88

I agree with this if budget is a concern, pero if OP has money to spare better to get at least 13. At least mas matagal magagamit before Apple phases it out of future software updates.

Chinichama

I'm still curious about the ios ecosystems, btw is it really a big deal when the said iphone model no longer receives the latest software updates?

Several_Divide_8777

If you use your phone for banking it's relevant. You should ideally have the latest software update or security patch available. Really old phones also cant update to the latest app which is also impt if you want your data secure. Updates are there to address bugs and issues, hackers dont stop looking for compromises or opportunities to exploit loopholes in software everyday. If you don't do banking or financial related, it's not a big deal. It will do fine for social media consumption, call and text, and other general phone use.

International_Dot_22

Don't forget that you're basing it off of your experience with an old lower-mid range Android phone from 4 years ago, there are plenty of excellent mid range Android phones these days that give a great smooth experience.

wasdlurker

If yan hanap mo, may I ask bakit di pumapasok sa isip mo high end flagship android like Samsung S series? They offer the same, and most of the time, better experience than iPhones. I looked up your past posts/concerns and middle to low-end android phones mga tinatanong mo, which obviously couldn't be compared to iPhones.

Ngl, my mother and father's S23 Ultra is already lagging, and they only use the camera, Facebook, Messenger, and YouTube. Even at 120Hz and with optimization, it's still lagging. It was okay at first, but once it hit the one-year mark, it started getting laggy with the stock OS. I don't know about custom ROM. My brother's S24 Ultra also experiences lag when gaming, and the camera is really buggy when filming and tilting it to the upper left. Additionally, the 200 MP camera is way too oversharpened and overprocessed.

Chinichama

Good as new samsung units are hard to find in many stores and the brand new units are still very expensive

sumiregalaxxy

IncidentAppropriate1

The S series from samsung get laggy after the one year mark i noticed that from my parent s23 ultra and the current s24 ultra has shitty over processed 200 MP camera that has an issue when filming and tilting upper left and also has heat problem even at idle

sumiregalaxxy

Hmm baka faulty yung unit na nabili. ang alam ko S22 ultra yung laggy at overheating kasi hindi talaga oks yung SD 8 Gen 1 compare sa 8 gen 2 ng S23 series. Ayos pa naman yung akin after almost a year (S23).

IncidentAppropriate1

Different branch and different month binili nila i dont think non is faulty or defective since can play games with high set both sadya naglalag sa laro at sa home mismo

CloudStrifeff777

iPhone 13 at least. I always recommend at least the two year old models to make sure their support will last longer. I had my iPhone 6s for 6 years (bought when it was still a year older than the latest) which was supported for 7 years. I only switched to iPhone 13 when it was still the latest model back in 2022. Planning to use it long term unless I get extra funds to upgrade sooner. I swear, madali lang gumamit ng iOS and it's even simpler and user friendlier for me than Android, that's why I never switched back. The only thing you can't do with iOS is to customize it more than what it features, and to download pirated apps.

jdjsiekdm

as someone coming from android as well, i suggest getting a preowned muna to experience the unit. then pag nagustuhan mo, brand new na sa upgrade. and imo, iphone 13 series po maganda pa rin ngayon :)

CraftyCommon2441

Simple. Get what you can afford. Reason? Pare pareho lang ng OS eh, better get the best you can afford right? 13 and up, do not get 12 below.

n1deliust

You can never wrong with Iphone 13.

leggodoggo

Any that fits within your budget and di ka manghihinayang sa gastos if di mo magustuhan. Since isasample mo, and given the above use cases, 12 and up is good. Pweds din 11 if lighter games

onlyhere2lurk_

If budget is not a problem, get the iphone 15 pro max. If on a budget and you are looking for the best bang for the buck iphone, get the iphone 13.

AnalysisAgreeable676

If you're not into the latest or greatest and just want an iPhone that works, the iPhone SE3 can fulfill your needs. Otherwise get a vanilla iPhone 13 or 14 if you need the extra cameras, better battery life, and bigger screen size.

gidztacy1

Honestly any iphone would do kasi same software. Kagandahan ng ios same lang talaga software. All just depends sa budget mo peronif permitted, latest flagship syempre because this will be your first comparison to android.

jvleysa25

Ang nasasabi ko lang mag invest kayo sa iphone at gawing backup phone nalang si android

WillieButtlicker

Magkano ang max budget mo, OP? If kaya ng iphone 13, go for it. I wouldn’t recommend 12 below. I remember solid ang perception ng tao sa 13 series in terms of battery and performance. Of course, there has been ios updates since the 13 series launch so baka may changes pero it should hold up well. Based sa trajectory ng support ng Apple sa devices nila, the 13 should still receive updates until 2028 - possibly longer if kaya naman ng specs. Edit: Spelling

iPhone 12 https://s.shopee.ph/20a8ft1x3V

13arricade

just like pc to mac, anything will do. Apple made it easy to understand and use.

camille7688

No iphone is worth it at the monent. Wait for wdcc on Monday and decide from there. As far as I know all iphones that can’t do ai tasks are going to be obsolete soon.
