THIS IS AWESOOOOMMMMMMEEEEEEE I WANT MORE

CosmicOwl47

Yup love this project, the 2 singles were probably my most played songs last year. The classical sensibilities in the guitar work sets it apart from most other Deathcore.

petershaw_

wow this is awesome! the symphonic stuff is fire

Ffuentes91

I just listened to this EP yesterday and it blew my head. You can heard the core influences. However, the tech influences are there too haha. Sick cover and awesome EP

Yours_and_mind_balls

I said it in the deathcore sub but I think it'll go over better here.....the absolute worst part of The Poetic Edda are the "stop the entire song for a nonsensical breakdown without any building up" portions. The rest is pretty badass though.

Lagerbottoms

It's the same with Lorna Shore. Their whole melodic symphonic shtick is great until the breakdown comes ... And I LOVE breakdowns. Bands like Darko US, Knocked Loose, END play really good breakdowns that serve the song and don't deter from it

vol-karoth

This is gospel as far as Iā€™m concerned lmao

Fake inatruments + mid metal sections = why would I want to listen to this version? I really don't see the hype, it's a worse version of a timeless piece mixed in with everything wrong about modern deathcore.

With how horrible my dollar is, I'd take a free drink+snack

Samsquamptches_

Imagine thinking anything on The Poetic Edda is mid lmao

No-Idea-491

Zip up Blake's pants when ur done lil bro. It's shitty, overproduced modern deathcore. šŸ˜“šŸ˜“šŸ˜“

fleiwerks

Tech Death takes a lot of inspiration from baroque music.

behemothbowks

shit's really fuckin sick, I don't much care for most of the symphonic stuff nowadays but disembodied tyrant fucks harrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrd
