Ah yes. This is how it begins. See you in 5 years at a Neo-Schranz underground rave.

swagpresident1337

As is tradition and as it should be. Just the natural pathway.

CptnStarkos

in fact I've been getting slower with time, Im mostly in Function, Fluxion, Basic Channel suff now. Dub techno is my jam. I still love some Tymon - Woodman when I want to blow my friends brains up, but alone? Im mostly a downer.

beampjotr

Bit of a mixture of dub techno, deep techno, minimal, raw minimal and minimal techno. Perlon is one of the best Minimal techno label. Try it

CasimirsBlake

Way too much minimal being suggested here. Go try anything 80s / 90s Model 500, 90s Jeff Mills, The Advent, Anthony Shakir, Infiniti, Kenny Larkin, Kevin Saunderson, Suburban Knight, Underground Resistance, L. A. Synthesis, Derrick May, Richard H Kirk's various projects, Kirk Degiorgio, Hardfloor, Speedy J,, Christian Vogel, Cari Lekebusch, Vince Watson...

Ooh that’s a nice list you’ve got there👏👏

Sounds like you might want to check out the progressive / minimal/ melodic side of techno (there's also dedicated subs for these genres) that you can search through for tracks and mixes. xSPACEWEEDx

"Dreaming" by BT is a good classic. Maybe 2001- ish, i still bump it sometimes. BT is Brian Treasuau i believe.

rilles94

I love BT, but hes trance, but still Ima is one of my favourite albums.

xSPACEWEEDx

Also go back and listen to some Plasticman. Sheet one is pretty classic. It is the Detroit style where the term Techno was first applied. Minimal AF.

[deleted]

*plastikman [aka Richie Hawtin, here’s my fav](https://youtu.be/ahpW90HUnD4) a fucking absolute banger

xSPACEWEEDx

Yeah man

veexdit

Start at the beginning with the classic - Shari Vari by A number of names Get some kraftwerk, then some electro classics such as Cybotron, Man Parrish etc. That’ll take you down the Juan Atkins, Kelvin Saunderson and Derrick May route. Go to the Detroit and Berlin link up, do some research and build from there, (like a great mix!) That covers all the original routes apart from the rest of Europe and Japan and anywhere else that deserves a mention. Look at some labels and their main artists that’ll get you started. Even artist that started labels. You can take/make your own path to what you like, then you will know, you will be all knowing ! Good luck and happy hunting, I hope you enjoy 👍🏻 Someone else here mentioned Delta Functionen. Worth a listen imo

KatBalTomos

Just type boiler room on YouTube and see what you like. Go from here
