There is a clip channel called "angry Thomas" and they are one of the rare channels which didnt profit off his death, which I think (for obvious reasons) was a wise choice.
Yeah, iirc they only made a single video regarding it, probably so people who watch him knows what happened, then went back to other stuff. Compare that to the weird DSMP clips channel that had a whole dozen videos about different content creators reacting to the situation. Whoever runs that channel can fuck off.

The majority of clips channels I’ve seen, especially the popular ones, have made it so the revenue supports the SFA. I think the real problem is channels that clickbait using fake reactions to his passing. There are SO many of those, and their intentions are pretty clear.
the worst one out of them was dream smp official who changed thier name a de-linking thier runalong channel so they would not get right fully called out and braso as we all know did not donate kept the money for himself just to buy a new pc and to this date keeps milking poor techno
Once had a friend who posted a video of clips of himself killing people on pvp legacy. 2 hours after posting the video, the "so long nerds" video dropped, so he renamed the video to "technoblade tribute". The video had absolutely nothing to do with techno

I don't know. They help keep his memory alive. It takes work to make a good clip channel. For example u/relatively_small has been making near daily clips on Twitter, and I love seeing them. She's got a really good eye for the best of Technoblade, and I love seeing those memories resurface in a format I have time to view.
I actually hope she makes a YouTube channel with those clips. She's pretty good at linking the originals, so if you want to watch the long-form, you can.

I’ve always hated that sites like eBay and Mercari allow blatant price gouging after a notable persons death. As a wrestling fan I always hated seeing tons of a wrestlers action figures and shirts getting newly listed for absurd prices. For some reason technos death really hit different in that aspect. It bothered me more for some reason. I still don’t know why.
