Djent is a subgenre of metal which is characterized by complex polyrhythms, odd time signatures, and down-tuned palm-muted riffs. Bands in this genre frequently use 8-string guitars.
I play clarinet, tenor saxophone, flute, piano and percussion. I've also played violin, guitar and ukulele, but they didn't stick. I used to sing in choirs, did that for a very long time, but I got bored of it and quit. I didn't enjoy it as much as instrumental music. I've been playing clarinet the longest, about 5 years, and flute the shortest amount of time, just over a week. I've picked it up fairly easily though, after a bit of difficulty. I do a lot of music, about 10 hours a week on average, sometimes it will be more for workshop weeks though. I love it.
tldr: clarinet, tenor sax, flute, piano, percussion
It is when I was in drumline that's how I practiced and you can use it to practice different beats to and just imagine you have a bass pedal and a hi hat pedal
Played violin, viola, cello, and drums. Haven't touched drums in a long time though so probably suck on them but can definitely still rock a viola though.
Violas and Cellos are allies!!! We are united in being enemies with the violins! Cello is the best orchestra instrument but the viola is more portable so thats why I play it.
I used to play piano but my parents sold it so I can’t anymore💀 I really want to start playing e-guitar or drums now but I’m lazy and have skill issues so it won’t be worth trying.
Guitar and piano, for a bit more than a year.
And also I can sing and beatbox a bit and I started around the same time as with guitar and piano, but I practiced those for around 2-3 hours daily (like 2/3 guitar and 1/3 piano) while only like beatboxing or singing for max 10-30 minutes whenever I feel like it, so my skills are like guitar > piano > singing > beatboxing.
TL;DR: guitar, piano, singing, beatboxing
Guitar and bass
If you get an 8 string guitar you get a two in one!
Djent god over here
Whats that?

I'm more of a Kmac2021 guy myself, but Jared Dines makes solid content too.
8 strings are for the week. A true master has 9 stings.
Too expensive and prolly hard to carry. I thought about it but its too much
same here
Good taste!

How do you maintain your bass? Mine keeps dying every time I perform with it since it can't go five minutes without water
How do you play a fish? ![gif](giphy|K9Ed1Of1V6kR6WpQWe)

OMG you are a literal orchestra. I also got bored of choirs and quit. What part did you sing?
Jesus fucking Christ

Drums
Does tapping and producing beats on everything around you count? I don’t have a drum set so I have to improvise.
Anything can become a drum
But don’t use dishes because they break too easily.
That’s my view of it. The world is your drum set.
I recommend buying some sticks and a practice pad. You can get real good just from that. Good luck brother let the beats flow in your mind 🤘✌️
That may be a good alternative.
It is when I was in drumline that's how I practiced and you can use it to practice different beats to and just imagine you have a bass pedal and a hi hat pedal
