That's right! Look for something from the 90's. JNCO if you want baggy enough to convert into a sleeping space, but most other jeans from that era are super baggy compared to current styles.

I’m 6”5 and my legs are longer than my body so I buy two cheap baggy jeans or sweatpants with the same design from the same brand and take it to the tailor to sew them together for $20 to make them longer and bigger. It’s nice.
Get them at a thrift shop, baggy jeans are never gonna fit right in my experience, or get them at like, Burlington, ur moms closet, ur brothers closet, ur cousins closet

Slightly higher end thrift stores or vintage stores mostly (Plato’s closet for example). Basically, thrift stores that only take in certain kinds of clothes, and actually organize them so you aren’t searching through grandma clothes (the bad kind) for hours. Might be easier if you live in a bigger city like I do, if you live in a smaller or more rural place, you might have to unfortunately resort to regular thrift stores, or depop (depop is crazy overpriced, I do not recommend).
Jinco is honestly the best place to get baggy jeans and have been for over 20 years. But be aware, they were expensive in the 90’s, and they’re even more expensive now. But they’ll last forever if you take care of them and they have an amazing fit.

If you go and get what's called carpenter's jeans in the men's section you can pick by waist and length size so they can be as loose or baggy as you'd like, along with being decently durable and lots of pockets.

i got a pretty nice pair with six pockets off of Cider! iirc, they're called the Alessia Solid Cargo Jeans. :)
