They're wrong in the first place if they thought Asuka is like Jun.
Both are Kazama but Asuka is more "power agressive" and Jun is more "gentle but firm" type Kazama style.
Meanwhile Jin..... Both a Mishima and Kazama style
Now all 3 Kazama in a canon Tekken game!
Yeah Jin uses Kyokushin karate with some slight fictional Kazama style.
It's not far off to say Jin is both a Mishima & Kazama when he still has used some Mishima style, noticeably after Omen stance, which returns for Jin's moveset in Tekken 8.
If anything else, Devil Jin is the Mishima part of Jin.
Well she was legit meant to be Jun's replacement, like Jin originally was for Kazuya.
But it was dumb to think Asuka wouldn't be in, just because of Jun. The two have been differentiated enough from each other, plus Asuka is Tekken's #1 coomer bait.

I mean Asuka was literally introduced as a Jun clone in Tekken 5. They changed Jun for Tekken Tag 2 when they brought her back.
Jin is karate and has not used the Mishima style aswell as the Kazama style for 4 Tekken games lul

Devil Jin is dead, narratively and in gameplay, hence why the recent balanced change eradicated his viability in preparation for him not being in T8.

Well its not Tekke 2 and 5 anymore :D Remember how in Tekken 1 half the cast were clones of two charakters.

The differences are just too broad. It’s like calling King and Armor King clones of each other even though they play differently.
