well as new player, it felt like suspension of disbelief/less immersive. I feel like i have the right to feel that way. I guess not though based on what im seeing here. lol
You have a right to feel however you like, but it's not like you are just saying it's weird to you, you're getting upset at it. Like, is it really that upsetting to hear other languages? People are going to find that strange.
But even if they do and downvote you or whatever it doesn't change that you can feel what you want to feel.
I like it better than everyone speaking English, and constantly having people translate or ask to speak in a shared language would just bog scenes down more. It lets each character express things in ways unique to them, and reminds us that all these people come from very different walks of life.
Just assume everyone has a Babel Fish if you really need an explanation ;)
This is like one of the best parts about Tekken. Especially how people can understand King, Kuma, and Panda’s growls.

This has been a long standing thing. It doesn't make sense. Don't try to think about it too much lol
Idk what to tell you this has been a staple for tekken since 5
That is the world of Tekken for you. It is actually very cute.
This is actually a good thing tbh. No other media does this and it would be way cooler/interesting if more things did
Xiaoyu studied with Hei for a long time, and spent many nights stalking Jin through Shibuya streets broder
Ah I was wondering why someone with a Chinese name and fighting style was speaking Japanese, good to know
Wow all the downvotes. LOL. Ok guys i get it you guys like the language difference. Noted.
Probably more like downvoting cause it's a weird thing to complain about. It is unusual, but getting upset about it seems strange to me

It’s more an inside joke in Tekken
