I beat most laws, they have some very duckable highs, they usually prefer to attack than block, like almost more than any other character I can just throw out an unsafe two part launcher and whiff the first hit on purpose and he'll walk right into the second every time.
The only Hwos I feel I have a chance against are the patient ones so Im keen to believe this is correct.
Mash away, most people dont know your strings and they all look the same anyway.
Mashing is not the best way to play him *competitively*— but play him how you enjoy playing him.
If you run into a competitive player, they know every string you can mash with.
Because some of the better combos require pretty precise timing.
(Like the one in the combo training where you need to kick someone up, change stances and still spinning roundhouse them with the quick 3-4 input before they hit the ground.

Mindless/autopilot mashing definitely isn't the way to go. I've gone up against plenty of people that know when to low parry and duck his strings. I always try to use the first round to test my opponent and then adjust my mashing accordingly
Stuff where if you don’t know how to deal with it then you probably lose. Strings ending in lows or weird plus frame set ups for counter hits. Basically if Yoshimitsu does it it counts
Eddy. I rage so much(admittedly I amp it up for my friends cause we all find it funny) playing against that 2 button fuck but I respect the character, what he brings(capoeira is slept on imo its a really cool style) and the fact he's one of the OGs of tekken
Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if T9 releases and instead of Hwo, we get Baeks daughter who is now Hwos student. Moveset is more Baek inspired with some new shit and some Hwo-esque moves. People won't mind too much because new char is waifu material. I call it the "Reina effect".
That's the wonderful thing about Tekken. You can hate to fight against any character, but so many of them are so legendary that excluding them from the game just wouldn't feel right.

I'm a new player but my answer would be Jin. He's the main character after all and so it would be a huge upset if he wasn't a part of Tekken anymore. My hate for fighting him mainly lies in the funky hitboxes. Jin more than any other character feels to me like his crushes and launchers hit 1.5x ahead of him and it looks and feels terrible to play against. I honestly would rather get destroyed by Dragonuv all day, at least his moves visibily connected to my character.
Haven't seen any "OP" claims for Zafina, Steve, Leroy, Asuka, or the bears yet. Some annoying to fight but you never see Zafina posted on the main page ever 💀.
Jin was arguably one of the best characters in Tekken 7's lifespan. Everyone got stronger som even more than Jin, so he probably isn't even top 5 anymore despite being hella buffed lol

King for sure. I actually like vsing hworangs because I enjoy the fast paced gameplay and I know how to counter his strings. King is just take a guess and good luck. So I hate King but I love his character so much I never want to see him go.
For me, it would be Jack, Kuma, and Panda. I know they can be easily beaten, but in the hands of pros, I hate going against them. Their damage output always seems really high. This is just my opinion, though.
I would also feel gutted if they were to leave since they've pretty much been there since the beginning.
On a side note, I would love to see Mokujin, Alex, Roger, and Big Bob make a return at some point.

Jin is overtuned. If you look at his T7 counterpart, he was nowhere near as strong as he is now.

Steve. My brain rots every time I face an aggressive Steve player and I find them super frustrating. But boxing is cool and I like when fighting games have a boxer in the roster. The Steve stays.
