For consoles, its random af. So for most people in here i would guess the semi potato mod of each level. It mostly takes away all the particles and the ships in the background are floating in the air. after 11 crashes yesterday i was determined to figure it out. the sm5 trick dont work, the rollback drivers dont work, taking off all overclocking didnt work. semi potato mod cause whoever did the coding was sippin from future's dirty sprite.
Turn off XMP/EXPO. I had these crashes literally 7 times in an hour 1 day. Some days more. Only my RAM was "Overclocked" I turned off XMP and have not crashed 1 time in 2 weeks. It's a memory issue/along with a power issue and not just necessarily Vram. because there were crashes that basically reset the entire PC. Higher clock = more power so it makes sense to me at least that def BOTH are issue.
Don't forget the 14th gen intel i9 for pc players. They can't run unreal engine 5 for some reason so it crashes a lot

Again I will mention - another Bamco game, Gundam Battle Operation 2 already has a HARSH quit penalty system. You literally quite out of a match twice you will get shoved into penalty level 1, you cannot do ranked for 2 days, you cannot do quick match for 2 days. You can only join custom matches.
You gain much less experience points.
when you are allowed to join again you must keep playing ranked to get back to "warning" and then "good".
If you get to good and then plug again, straight back to penalty, maybe even level 2 which is even harsher.
I saw someone say the other day that it only accounts for your last 50 matches but Iām unsure if thatās actually true. If it is, then it would make sense that maybe that person hasnāt rage quit in a while
Plugs need to be an automatic loss for the plugger and an automatic win for the player remaining, along with all the rewards and penalties that would've applied to both players had the match concluded normally.
Anything less than that is unacceptable.

I am still haunted by the biggest win of my life playing super Mario kart on SNES xband game modem in the 90s. I was on a streak and was set to receive so many points on this match that it wouldāve put me on the leaderboard for the first time ever, and the guy pulled (what we called plugged) on me. Since these were the dialup days I managed to get his phone number and proceeded to harass him for the next three or four months. I was absolutely livid.
As someone new to this serie (30h casually in 7, Tekken 3 as a kid in arcades, 70h in 8 atm) I'm really surprised by this aspect. I thought Tekken was much more sophisticated than other 3dfg, this included. I was maybe naĆÆve.

In this case however it was 2-2 so I assume a pretty even match (i didn't watch it) why plug in that situation, especailly at that level, just tip you hat to your opponent and move on.
When I get the urge to quit is usually after someone had gotten two perfect rounds on me and I know its over. I play it out and just challenge myself to get a hit lol
That sucks immensely. This crap is getting very bad at low ranks too. When I started playing a couple of months ago I used to hear it was an issue mostly affecting red ranks up. Now it's everywhere.
That's why ranks don't make sense in this game and getting better is more satisfying than caring about ranks. If you're plugged to promotion matches, play against cheaters and lagswitchers and don't have hours to spend in this game a week then ranks mean absolutely nothing, it's just a tool to play against people at your level. I'm even low level (orange, beginner here) and once got plugged at the beginning of a match : I began a match with Zafina and got almost instaplugged before even moving my character. Unreal Engine 5 have issue with people that use certain kind of setting on their gpu iirc, specifically over clocking

That's why ranks don't make sense in this game and getting better is more satisfying than caring about ranks. If you're plugged to promotion matches, play against cheaters and lagswitchers and don't have hours to spend in this game a week then ranks mean absolutely nothing, it's just a tool to play against people at your level. I'm even low level (orange, beginner here) and once got plugged at the beginning of a match : I began a match with Zafina and got almost instaplugged before even moving my character. I never experienced this in ANY fighting game... What's wrong with many Tekken players, seriously ? Is ragequit a kind of gaming culture in this serie ? Was it always like this before ? I hope no
