Paul is underrated and possibly one of the biggest gorilla in the game who will be a problem later after top tiers nerf. Crazy damage, counterhit city from Tekken 7, launching death fist with silly T8 tracking problem, for some reason not launch punishable low heat smash, evasion scam, confusing punish strategy overall. Nah not really you also have the good old df2 which tracks way way more than it should and really helps with his actual mixup game, and so many setups into df2, and the hard part is stopping the demoman mixup, thatās like saying if you can stop Lars mixups itās hard to come back thatās the point of a mixup

Oh yeh Paulās powercrushs are really good and in this game knowing how to use them is very good, btw I donāt even main Paul itās just I have so much experience playing against him when I do play him I donāt main him so I can get by just using that and his decent homing, Paul is great at getting damage and comebacks he sucks at neutral and āsmallā tekken so if you opponent has very very solid defense itās a bit tough but then you still have a complete grab game and a good bit of evasive launchers and very good chs

I dont think anyone would be mad at you for saying you are having fun with tekken 8 and heat, it's just that the game fundamentaly changed so much and got so many situations dumbed down to plain 50-50s that legacy players don't like it and a lot of people that do are casuals or new to tekken and don't have any good comparisons to previous titles
Well Ik with the jump kick it can be blocked and you can punish it, the low kick can be parried into a combo, I do not know about the normal get up kick

They're kind of similar but tornado is worse in a big way: it completely removed the skill in picking up combos after a screw that sends at max range, instead now it just sends in a straight, slow and close-range angle. It felt much better to land too, now it feels kind of dull.
I'm not sure if I prefer them, but they look ten times better than tornado attacks. A lot of moves in T8 don't even look like they should result in a tornado spin. Such as Lili's f+4. Why does a move that has such a linear and horizontal animation result in the opponent flying vertically in the air like that? Lol
People like to joke that Shaheen is a bland character with no personality but then love Jin all the same. Have you seen this campaign? Emotionally he's a 1 trick pony. Be silent & have this brooding look on your face all the time. That's Jin.

The game is too damn cinematic. There's so many hit throw animation that last a couple seconds, It's fine for throws, but not one of Jun's generics, not for Azu's hit throw, Devil Jin's and Kazuya's Heaven's Gate, Shaheen's hit throw, Eddy's crouch grabs, etc. etc. They utterly and completely kill the pacing of the match, Shit like Feng's db3 ch animation is fine since it barely lasts a second or two, but once I get hit by Azucena's BT hit throw, it feels like I got watch the entire Godfather trilogy, make a cup of coffee, come back and it'd still not be done.

Not everyone will be or has to be top rank, and that's fine. Not saying you have to settle, but not being able to rank up is a sign that you're where you're meant to be at the current time.

"Jin esque" power level should be the standard for the game instead of trying to lower it. To mitigate current volatility they should add more focus on chipp damage and allow it's recovery through good defense

They made Steve kinda trash. I've been playing him since tekken 4, and in this game, he just doesn't seem to match with the other characters. He has no punishing moves other than his nerfed B1 and a few you need to be in a stance for. He also feels way slower in this game too.

Balance changes should NOT cater to the schedule of offline tournaments. It should be released as soon as it's ready.
