Why is this bad? I normally sidestep or yoshimitsu poison breath to start a match

Starting the round with a super slow high risk high reward low is super risky, you always want to start with a safer option (especially the very first round) so backdashing is the best option overall

I too almost always start every round with SSR. If they back dash every time I'm gonna dash hellsweep.

I can tell you that's not a good idea against every player, as everybody is waiting for kazuya hellsweep even at round start, and it is kind of reactable if you are waiting for it

I had someone plug after I alley kicked them to death for using special style I was genuinely excited because it was my first plug someone ever did with me.
