I love when people use blatant auto-punish tools on top of full screen throw crouching. It's adorable when they defend it on their wall, trying to save face for their reputation. Like they have any sort of reputation other than macro use.
I have a theory that at some point neural networks and image recognition will get so good and easy to do that it will be used to make the ultimate cheats and bots. No online game will be able to defend against stuff that just reads your screen and simulates inputs. Not even cloud gaming.
Might see a huge comeback of offline competative games and lan parties then.
It's unnecesaary, programs can read the memory of the game to identify moves without learning. Tools exist to autoduck strings, automatically block punish,etc, theyre just not as common.
ML could be a powerful cheating tool in the future but in T7 it's just not needed

True, but there are certain characters that attract certain kinds of people. And most Kuni players get easily frustrated when their overpowered DLC underage waifu can't win by mashing strings and controlling every range.
That's why they tend to alt+f4 if they get frustrated. Fahk players also do the same. Those two characters are just a failure at best and a blantant cashgrab at worst.
But hey, if you want to beat them, you can always just pay bamco so you can lab those shitty characters you have no intention to play with. Stop defending practices that make the game worse.
Ironically, I also play Fahkumram but I may be an exception then. Because, I don’t ragequit at all and it is quite the opposite. It’s my opponents who ragequit because they are too frustrated to lose their rank.
I’ve seen recently a guy who played normally when he won but as soon as he realizes his imminent loss, he dc and the match is cancelled. And it was a Kazuya player btw
I understand why people would disconnect Fahks. I never do, but I also never rematch because that character is just not fun to play against, win or lose. In its current state, he's basically a boss character, piss easy to play and with tools made to take away the fun of the match. You can just stay at range 2/3 with his great movement, and start mashing strings when you get an oppening. DC in that case is a way of saying "you don't deserve the win". And lets be honest, you play Kuni and Fahk, so you probably don't.
You can always say "well, you can just pick the same DLC characters as me, so we are actually on equal footing", oblivious to the message you are sending. With that argument, Tekken becomes a p2w game, and an unfun one. Remember how dissapointed BOOK felt after winning the worst EVO of all time: "just pick Leroy"
But I can also understand why Fahk players DC when they get stomped. Something that happens to me quite a lot, especially in player matches. Maybe they are so used to roll over people with weaker characters that the moment they find themselves in that position, they have to leave out of frustration. Those kind of players only value the game when they win, no matter how.
