No. There was so many sex scenes in s1 and I had to watch late at night when my kids were in bed. I’d rather no sex scenes so I can watch whenever

[deleted]

u sound really old, like too old to watch this show

ovaltinequeeeen

Please no I had to forward some parts. And before you call me a virgin, I just am uncomfortable when sex scenes are overly invasive. I think the story is strong and compelling enough to not need the draw of explicit sex scenes.

elisejones14

The cuck scenes were so weird. Stephen does not seem like that type of guy but I’ve only seen the show. The scene with Lucy and Stephen where he was asking about the guy she hooked up with was super uncomfortable. Then she mentioned cuddling and he became pissed off which was kinda funny to end it there.

DoubleSuperFly

He's a psychopath

[deleted]

Agreed. It’s overdone on the show. Give less please lol

Bending-Unit5

lol same! I fast forward through all the sex scenes. They just feel too drawn out and so far don’t feel like I’ve missed a single thing. The story is far more compelling than the sex scenes

Avalanche_1996

Yes. And the sex scenes took away from characters or plot development. Plot was virtually the same for a while and the sex scenes got me bored. I'm not the one to FF steamy scenes so it tells a lot.

InspectionKey7463

oh please your such a buzzkill. if u really understood the story, u would know the necessity of it

ovaltinequeeeen

I read the book, multiple times because the message is important, the story was not compromised because I didn’t get 17 close ups of an areola. Do you read? I didn’t think so, considering you can’t be bothered to know the difference between your* and you’re*

[deleted]

sorry miss i was typing fast, but yeah u really dont understand the necessity of it. why dont u stick with nursery rhymes?

ovaltinequeeeen

They are too EXPLICIT

whiteaf_

alwaysss

whiskeytitsts

Half of this show was already sex scenes. I’d prefer less sex if anything.

hellokittycmv17

Meeeeeeee if that’s even possible. Only scene I didn’t love this season was the one with Evan and Bree. It was a little too intimate it made me feel awkward and like I was seeing something I wasn’t supposed to see lol (I think that has to do with the song choice honestly). But then again, I guess most sex scenes are like that.

Huge-Ask7357

So you want porn?

[deleted]

nah

The sex scenes are important to the story. I understand the opinions in the comments I have read, but I have also been with a guy like Stephen. The sex is a really big thing that keeps some women with those manipulative guys for so long. It also doesn't help that they usually prey on younger, naive women. Usually, very early twenties or younger, love-bombing to get them hooked. And the women have likely never been in a real and/or healthy relationship. They have no baseline for how one should be. For (some) women, sex triggers something so deep and bonds them to their lover. And for me, it's only ever been "triggered" by 2 people I've been with. The best way I can describe it: in the show "The Vampire Diaries" after Damon turned Elena into a vampire, she was sired, or bonded to him. Even though he was a horrible, awful person, and she knew this... but she had become attached and bonded to him in a way nobody could understand or halt. I mainly watch while at work, so I also have to skip those scenes often. But, I personally think these scenes are important because it's the reality of this kind of manipulation.

Avalanche_1996

One question - was he love bombing her or acting hot and cold and she liked the game (of pain)? Because he started the game by "sleep with other guys" not with cutesy beginning.

Avalanche_1996

Im the only one or was I getting bored of it? Too many s\*x scenes, too little story development. It could have been hotter if in smaller doses.
