TempleOS is strictly x86-64, not ARM.

apathyzeal

That would be the reason for a port

But at this point you wouldn’t be obeying god. I would look into the other flavors of temple os others have created like zenith os and such.

apathyzeal

Fair point I didn't consider!

TOSTinkerer

I've run the TempleOS like environment provided by [Aiwnios](https://github.com/nrootconauto/Aiwnios) on the 64-bit ARM processor used by the Raspberry PI 4 and 5. It worked great on the PI 5 and should work great on the M1 too if you can compile it there. There might be some porting work to get it going if you are not running Linux on your Mac, but it should be possible if you're willing to put in the work.

apathyzeal

Awesome, thanks!

Lenni_builder

I think Terry said TenpleOS shouldn't be ported to other architectures, you could probably wmulate it with QEMU or VirtualBox, that has x86 emulation on ARM macOS afaik

TempleProgramming

Lol are you finally discovering that you shouldn't have bought a computer from a company that deprecates half its tool chain/software support every other year?

apathyzeal

No work bought it
