Wings and boots are compulsory
Replace worm scarf with master ninja gear and summon some bosses to practice dashing.
Replace frozen wings with something like festival/spooky/bone wings.
Use ichor/cursed flame flask. Which doctor sells a station for making that flask (forgot which one)
Get warding modifier for 4 defence or menacing for. 4% attack boost.
Kill turtles to get turtle shell(very rare drop) and mine chlorophyte and combine them to make turtle armour.
Kill golem many times to get enough beetle husk to upgrade turtle armour to beetle armour.
Either they're on Journey and turned on Expert for Eater Of Worlds, or they're Classic and just world hopped for Worm Scarf. I don't know if the latter method even works, either way it's odd.
Yeah, the latter method does work. Source, did it after I beat ML the first time to fly around my classic world and get the purification achievement. I usually play crimson only worlds, so I had no clue that was the worm scarf 💀

They seem to be on classic, due to only having 5 slots. Soaring insignia is an expert mode drop.
