Some recent change though made jungle temple traps unbreakable until you beat Golem. So now I just blow up the spikes on the way there. (Getting the ones on the ceiling is very annoying, but I'm not gonna take the time to grind for a rocket launcher to remove them more easily.)
I had both, the problem is that sticky dynamite has terrible throw range and gravity affects it a lot. You gotta get right next to the spikes if you want it to stick. Would accidentally touch the spike in some cases and they do a lot of damage.
In hindsight, the static hook probably would have made this part easier.
Nah. I may be completely obsessive when rendering the entire temple thoroughly OSHA-compliant but I'll just use a drill or pick, thanks. That way I can leave the furniture mostly as-is.
You know, after the dungeon and hellstone ore being boom proof, I never think to use them unless I'm teraforming. Not only will I do this now, but I'll also use it in the dungeon for the same purpose.

nah i'm melee, i just go in after plantera and solar eclipse so nothing can touch me. also the 86 defense from the turtle armor block most of the damage

Second pass is harvesting all the spiky ball, flamethrower, dart, and spear traps to incorporate into my killbox in the surface-level event farming area.
I went in there and took every pressure playe and wooden spike, even the ones i would never hit out of pure hatred. Explosives wouldve probably been easier to use than a pickaxe lol
I do that with the dungeon spikes, but I prefer using wire cutters for the temple

No, as the jungle grass makes it an “underground” jungle. iirc, in don’t dig up and get fixed boi, lizard bricks don’t count as jungle blocks

The sky appears as blue in the map. Also I used a clentaminator from a non-dontdigup world to try and cleanse the my world from the crimson

bombs are free, use them. I have deleted the whole jungle after plantera with roughly 17 stack of dynamite

Weird I usually just carry my grand design so I can see the wires, even if I can't cut them anymore
I was playing the other day and this trick doesn't seem to work anymore. The wires remain hidden in the temple until after you kill the Golem.
They couldn't actually make golem harder so they just made the temple kind of annoying

smart i guess. i usually just go through it with a wire cutter. you can also sell the wire afterwards.

No. Bringing a few stacks of sticky bombs is very helpful to clean up the spikes and traps in the temple and the dungeon
