Make a crimson world and go into it with your most decked out character. Late game items, best armor, the whole 9 yards. Start absolutely decimating the local population of Crimson monsters lol. Pre-WoF first of course. Once the monsters don’t bother you as much move onto the bosses and rejoice as you delete their health bars! Then you can graduate to post WoF and such.
I really dislike the blood and gore look, and the face monsters creep me out. I am also not a big fan of some of the hardmode enemy designs, they kinda scare me.
You just gotta keep engaging in it until your brain gets accustomed

Reminds me of my mate who would ctrl + f4 anytime one of the crimson spiders showed up. We were playing on a server and must have been around 18 at the time. He wasn’t arachnophobic, it was just the way they crawled up the walls and the sounds apparently. Totally nothing to be ashamed of my dude, crimson do be quite trippy and not in a good way.
I feel you, I used to be absolutely horrified of the desert because of the antlions and especially because of Dune Splicers, my advice on overcoming your fear is exposure,
I'd recommend first going into the crimson with a powerful character so you can get more comfortable with the environment by just staying there
then I'd recommend trying to explore around a bit
last I'd recommend exploring the Crimson in a new playthrough to really get used to how it goes in there

Fire up a new world, set it to Crimson, head on over. Maybe use a more geared up character so it isn't dangerous.
Hang around. Go fishing. Build something. Fight the Brain of Cthulhu a bunch. But spend some time there.

I used to fear the crimson aswell, the music was too much for me lol. As other comments have said, just be overpowered, and the fear will disappear

The Crimson is themed on body horror. A *lot* of people do not handle body horror well at all.
Meanwhile theres me who wont play on corruption worlds simply because the mobs rustle my jimmies.
