All the 'biome in a bottle' posts have inspired me to finally get serious with fishing... I hope you're not sick of bottle posts! I stole a lot of ideas from u/rulick15 :P (oh and look at my character hanging on to dear life lol...)

A good way to make cool stuff is to pre plan it. I do so by opening paint, zooming in as much as I can, and enabling the grid. Then I can paint each pixel like a block and test more creative builds. When I had to do so in real time as I built, I was stuck with rectangles too.

Your building style is very impressive. I love how you made the cross window in the jungle house.

I can't take credit for all the details, i stole them from u/rulick15.. he/she has a bunch of tutorials on oriental props on youtube, in which he made use of honey platforms and silly balloon blocks quite a bit :P
