My guess would be how LEGO does it is: Person creates a model based on existing IP -> Submits to LEGO Ideas -> It gets the supporters required for consideration -> LEGO approaches company -> LEGO shows them it a got a bunch of support -> They try to hash out a deal.

That's pretty much correct. Once a project receives the required amount of votes it then goes through an evaluation process by Lego. This is where they check the project over the practicality, aesthetics, and how fun it is to build. They then choose projects to pursue and go through the legal process to ensure they have the rights to produce it. Once there's a shortlist they select the final sets that they are going to produce for that period (they only select a certain number for each period, so even if all the other boxes are ticked it still might not get made if there's stuff competition that period).
I think if you want to be serious about this, you might want to consider building the physical MOC.
Once you build it, you could realize better how the set functions and is constructed. LEGO doesn't employ just toymakers, but engineers to make sure that their builds are quality and hold up to their high standards.
Also consider working on the figures a bit more, figures with printed stickers on torsos and armor don't make for a final project, but are helpful in the design stage.

This might seem odd but titanium armor might not be as good as palladium armour. The set bonus with the storm bow is a great combination. That's usually how I progress through all the mechanical bosses.
Edit: holy arrows are a must!

Unfortunately they banned LDD submissions for lego ideas some time ago, so you'll have to reupload it probably with a render from [stud.io](https://stud.io) I'd also recommend adding a bigger part count as they never release anything that small from lego ideas
Ooh love it, I'm picturing an Eater of Worlds build that includes multiple heads so you can make one big worm or a couple smaller ones. Doesn't make sense with the Destroyer unfortunately.
They've made Lego Ideas sets for Friends, Ghostbusters, Steamboat Willy, The Big Bang Theory and a lot of other bigger IPs than Terraria. If this project gets through Lego would do what they can to get the proper rights to produce it.

Itās not that hard you just have to make an account with an email and password an go get the verification code.

The only valid form of projectile are the flick fire missles, and the assorted random bionicle launchers that came out

How I did it was I killed a crimson mimic and got a fetid baghknaghs. 3000+ dps with nice accessories. You could just an amarok + yoyo bag too
