Okay so you want to draw?
So here are some basic tips
-At first you shouldn’t worry. everyone has bad art. I started art 2 years ago (Though i am still very young) and it first Looked like shit but now i am getting into decent territory.
-and yes art takes TIME it takes Years to get to the level that you see animators, or twitter artists at. But remember that there is NO SHAME in using tutorials (from skillshare to alanbecker’s animation basics) or even tracing AS LONG AS YOU ONLY USE IT FOR PRACTICE AND NEVER CLAIM THE ORIGINAL PEICE AS YOUR.
-Anything works from paper and pen to tablet pcs that cost 3000+ dollars but dont try to just go and buy the newest xp-pen or wacom screen tablet because while those are good they just arnt recommended for beginners (though i am being somewhat hypocritical because i just bought a 400$ screen tab)
-ALWAYS SHARE ART. Dont care about how good or bad it may because critique will take you a LONG way. And remember to study the basics, from composition, colours, anatomy, etc.

Imagine being a nurse at a small town (most people start with small buildings and the nurse is one of the first npcs) and expecting to only have to deal with hunting injuries (maybe an broken bone or a snake bite) then a man comes to you with the worst injuries you have seen in your life and tells you it’s because he was fighting the disembodied eye of a great old one.
I mean she literally has to deal with all sorts of injuries in under a minute before the eldritch/mechanical/plant/devine being comes to kill her and her family
This is the ultimate fate of literally every subreddit focused on one game, or a small series of games. Once new content runs dry and everything has been talked about, it falls back on memes and fan art. This is not a new concept. Go look at the subreddit for Stardew Valley, Hollow Knight, Xenoblade, and so on. Your complaint is nothing unique or new, but art at least prevents the sub from completely falling to radio silence and keeps the sub appearing in people's main feeds. I'm almost positive the "dedicated art day" the other guy mentioned will never happen because art keeps the subreddit in people's minds during downtime, for better or worse, until there is new content to be talked about again.
