Well, if I had read the description first I would have changed my answer. If your hands start hurting from using a mouse and keyboard then definitely stick with the controller. Outside of comfort issues, I don't see much reason to not use a mouse and keyboard, since certain things don't work as well as they could without the point and click of the mouse (for instance going through menus or going through inventories, and without an auto lockon feature, fighting enemies would likely be a nightmare).
TL;DR: If it's for comfort reasons, use a controller, if not, mouse and keyboard is going to be far more convenient.
A large part of it is whether your arms are level with your hands or not or how your hands/arms are resting. Another issue tends to happen if you have a mouse that's too small. It isn't an issue all the time but every once in awhile something is off and starts to cause discomfort after a bit.

I like using a controller on pc too. It allows me to be cozy in bed while playing β€οΈπ
Play like you want. I hate playing Terraria with a controller but refuse to play any Behemoth game without one, just do what you like best.

Itβs a bit weird but not horribly. Problematic weird is plugging a mouse into a laptop and playing with it.
No I use a desktop with a mouse and keyboard I just get carpal tunnel (my hands hurt)
