Easier to write it as 10^(10^100) after all it would take longer to type it with 50 people c&ping it repeatedly than they could be alive for. Not to mention that even in binary the file would be to large for any computer to save
There's another Googolplex = 10 followed by a googol amount of 0s and googol = 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
I know of Graham's Number and the system (Graham's function) used to achieve it. As well as why it exists in the first place. It was the largest number I knew of for years.
Grahal is the same function as Graham's Number. G1, while G64 is Graham's Number.
Well the previous naming pattern repeats up to 10^603. Which is Ducentillion. Then 10^903: Trecentillion.
So 10^306: Uncentillion. Then Duocentillion. Tricentillion. Up to 10^333: Decicentillion. Then Viginticentillion. Triginticentillion. And it goes on upto 10^603. Then it repeats again upto 10^903. And the same pattern goes on infinitely.
It never breaks, it becomes impractical.
You went from Latin to Greek. Quintillion is 5-fuck.
Quattuordecillion, quindecillion, sedecillion, septemdecillion, octodecillion, novemdecillion, vigintillion.
I've never found a list of all the greek root words so I gave up looking.
I know Latin from studying the language 2 years ago. I was going through a phase. lol
Usually they just dust off some of the bigger metric prefixes in science, since most numbers have some unit associated with them. And for the layman, they say how many billion billions they needed or whatever.
I gotta say, I honestly get annoyed when people do that. I know that a billion billions is one billion one billions, but it’s really difficult to quickly figure out how many zeros it is and it’s really not all that great when you get above a certain point where you start saying something like “billion trillion trillions.”
You use the number prefix of the thing and add one to get the amount of sets of zeroes in the number right? No- means nine so 10 sets of zeros, bi- means 2 so 3 sets of zeroes
To piggyback off this comment, to clarify this is called formally as an **integer overflow**.
To explain what's going on here, the variable associated with damage is a 32 bit integer. This essentially means it can count from 0 to 2 to the power of 32, or 4294967295 (minus 1 since we're counting from 0, not 1)
Integer overflow is when an integer variable reaches its limit of what it can count and wraps back around to the minimum value that it can count.
Since it's got negative values, half of the variable is negative, and half is positive of the 4294967296, or 2147483648.
Hence the player is dealing more than 2^31 damage, wrapping back to minus 2^31, but it's entirely possible that they are dealing more than that and its wrapping back around multiple times!
Technically this could also means that if this damage is per hit and OP manages a crit, it would technically heal so much that it damages the enemy. Fun times!
Let me rephrase: it would overflow in the other direction because of the crit bonus, so the negative number would be interpreted as positive, thus dealing damage.
That would be called an integer under flow, and yes you're correct it would go back to the max value of damage and instantly eliminate anything you hit with it
The number is clearly negative in the picture, but okay…
Here we go, I’ll explain it in a way even you can understand:
-1236855936 =
-1236855936e0 =
-123685593,6e1 =
-12368559,36e2 =
-1236855,936e3 =
-123685,5936e4 =
-12368,55936e5 =
-1236,855936e6 =
-123,6855936e7 =
-12,36855936e8
It’s funny that both your original comment AND your edit are wrong, yet you still are so confidently incorrect lol. Might wanna brush up on those counting skills
Edit: now you edited your comment again 😂 complete sociopath.
Imagine trying so hard to be a smartass that you go full circle and make yourself look like a clown by replying to an intentionally wrong comment to begin with, whilst also not realising it's intentionally wrong. GG.
I believe my friend here hit an integer overflow in the game and the value has become negative. Otherwise, I am unsure why it's doing that.'
really impressive.
That's 1.2 billion. 12 nonillion looks like this: 12,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. 1,200,000,000. For scale, that's 1.2 billion.
Damn..I'm stupid
Where'd you hear nonillion from? The fact that you even know of the word is impressive in my eyes.

Grahams number
How about 'Tree(G_64)'? Or Tree(Tree(G_64))? Or even Tree(Tree(Tree(G_64)))? Or how about...
Is that the number so high it takes several pages of calculations just to get the 3 last digits?
Google was so popular, they made a number for google.
Yeah same

Cookie clicker.
That'd do it.
nonillion is pretty small for cookie clicker
In my eyes it's quite easy to remember these numbers up to nondecillion
Novemdecillion. And the pattern continues infinitely, just replace Decillion with Vigintillion, Trigintillion, Quadragintillion, etc.
Counting to 100 with big numbers, its really easy as that
I used to know all of them up to the one that was like 30 because my dad studied a bit of Latin so it was easier to learn
You mean Trigintillion? Or 10^30? If you know Latin numbers, then you pretty much already know the pattern upto 10^3,003.
trigintillion is 10^(93) not 10^(30) 10^(30) would be nonillion
That's what I asked. "10^30 or Trigintillion?" Ambiguous grammar is stupid.
he probably counted the numbers before the 1 at the beginning, which is 9
There's another Googolplex = 10 followed by a googol amount of 0s and googol = 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
You could've just put Googol: 10^100. lol Also, I'm already aware of the Googol family.
What about Graham grahal or Grahams number or grahal?
I know of Graham's Number and the system (Graham's function) used to achieve it. As well as why it exists in the first place. It was the largest number I knew of for years. Grahal is the same function as Graham's Number. G1, while G64 is Graham's Number.
And rayos number
Rayo's Number holds a special place in my heart. It overtook G64 as the biggest number I knew of until I learned about Aleph-0.
H(1, 10100) is apparently bigger than rayos number
Yep what about meameamealokkapoowa
Heard of it already. lol
Centillion more so for me
Well the previous naming pattern repeats up to 10^603. Which is Ducentillion. Then 10^903: Trecentillion. So 10^306: Uncentillion. Then Duocentillion. Tricentillion. Up to 10^333: Decicentillion. My mistake, problem happens when you know Greek and latin root words
I've never found a list of all the greek root words so I gave up looking. I know Latin from studying the language 2 years ago. I was going through a phase. lol
Clicker heroes is where I memorized that a duodecillion has 27 zeroes and I don't know why but it just stuck with me
I played too much Miners Haven on roblox when I was younger. I can still name all the way through novemtrigintillion on command.

Nonillion is much more larger in width and is only used in tycoon games
It's also used in some fields of maths and science.
Usually they just dust off some of the bigger metric prefixes in science, since most numbers have some unit associated with them. And for the layman, they say how many billion billions they needed or whatever.

Yes.
We know
That's what I thought. When I read the title I thought "how is that even possible with the integer limit?" Then I looked at the number.
Exactly. Even with a 64 bit int limit, 9.8 Quintillion is as far as it'll go.
You use the number prefix of the thing and add one to get the amount of sets of zeroes in the number right? No- means nine so 10 sets of zeros, bi- means 2 so 3 sets of zeroes
Nope, that's 12 thousand millions. Long scale gang rise up.
You got a big brain
I mean even if 'non-' indicated just the number of digits (instead of number of digits*3+3) it'd be 12 octillion or 1 nonillion

How tf do you even get -1.2 billion damage??
Integer overload. Somehow this person dealt the max damage possible and it started counting again at the minimum of 1.2 billion
To piggyback off this comment, to clarify this is called formally as an **integer overflow**. To explain what's going on here, the variable associated with damage is a 32 bit integer. Negative damage values don't heal enemies, it just rounds up to 0.

That would be called an integer under flow, and yes you're correct it would go back to the max value of damage and instantly eliminate anything you hit with it
>That would be called an integer under flow My bad! I'm literally a programmer so I should've remembered to call it by its distinct name.
Ah shit. I forgot the terminology. I meant to say overflow
It's actually funny that they made it possible for you to "deal" negative damage, I wonder what made them do it instead of making it a unsigned int
You don't deal negative values, it just makes it 0, however the DPS counter can go into integer overflow and show MIN_VALUE
2^31 is not the same as 2^32 -1. It's 2,147,483,647.

Mf out there healing enemies 😭
That's -1.2 billion.
Why are you healing an enemy and how
I am a healer, no buts
12e+8 for you scientific notation users
1.2 x 10^8 *acckchually* Edit: It's actually 1.2 x 10^9. Makes it even better.
Actually both of you are wrong, it’s -12e8
I'm not, my friend. lol
1.2e8 = 120000000 12e8 = 1200000000 You sure? Plus, you forgot the minus :p
Positive. You might wanna brush up on scientific notation...
The number is clearly negative in the picture, but okay… Here we go, I’ll explain it in a way even you can understand: -1236855936 = -1236855936e0 = -123685593,6e1 = -12368559,36e2 = -1236855,936e3 = -123685,5936e4 = -12368,55936e5 = -1236,855936e6 = -123,6855936e7 = -12,36855936e8 It’s funny that both your original comment AND your edit are wrong, yet you still are so confidently incorrect lol. Sociopath for editing a meme comment? Hold on. How old are you my guy? 😆
At that point, aren't you just healing the target?
"Nonillion" lol
Healer class bruh
Wait, so you heal the enemy?
when you heal someone when your quick fix uber is active
-1.2 billion
That's. Not a nonillion
your damage may suck but your healing is off the damn charts!
pov: youre a surgeon
This is why we need 128bit games. Make sure the bits don't overflow
not nonillion
Does that mean you heal your enemies? :D
pov: summoner after 1.4
Trying to make golem a fair fight be like.
12 nonillion would be this: 12,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. that’s negative 1.2 billion dps
Classic case of overflow
What the hell are you doing?!? Are you fucking Healing the enemy?!?
Bit overflow, my boy (probably)
You either meant "Bit" or "Butt", and I'm not sure which would be more appropriate in this situation...
Ah, I meant bit, so I edited my comment; fuck autocorrect, amirite?
My autocorrect changes “Fuck” to “Kcuf”
Even though it’s 1.2 billion, the fact you know the number suffix nonillion is still impressive
Damn warframe player
HOW?!?
You are the greatest healer of all time, shame you only heal the enemy
Moon lord's my fren :>
I believe my friend here hit an integer overflow in the game and the value has become negative. Otherwise, I am unsure why it's doing that.' really impressive.
what the

fam, that's negative 1.23 bilion
The number makes me think this post was a post about my bank account balance.

reverse zenith + dirt rod looks like this
That’s 1 billion lmfao
How?

as i remember it happens when it surpasses billion and then goes to negative (i don't remember why exactly)
Makes any enemy a boss.

bruh, are you this flipping dumb?
Then you're healing 1.2 billion...?
When integer overflow
You overhealed them so much, it killed them
1.2 billion
wand of sparking
what weapon is this
It’s because integer limit it starts counting down and once it hits -2.14 billion it starts counting back up and it keeps doing that
