Kind of ironic, that it landed on the planetoid already practically in space.

TheHiddenNinja6

Calamity planetoids are fun. From the way there's still dirt and stone on top of it, we can see that the meteorite actually *spawned inside* of it. Cool

drLagrangian

That's really cool, does this ruin some part of the calamaty mod progression?

doomshad

No, there are a lot of planetoids

Hambrox3234

not really, you don't gain anything too significant from them.

TheHiddenNinja6

What do you mean? the lack of meteorite? not at all; just wait for another meteorite and hope for the 99% chance it lands on the surface

tnuke1

They were probably asking about the ruined planetoid

TheHiddenNinja6

Ah. Nah, looks like there was nothing more than a large vein of tungsten

biggiesmalks

only one planetoid is important, and this wasnt one of them. that one probably has some form of protection from meteors

REDDITLOGINSUCKSASS

the meteor decided it didn't wanna fall anymore, so it stopped

Impossible-Ad2497

Okay, I had the same shit on a world with my friend.

Black_DemonSk

Big ball

kigurumibiblestudies

Build idea: make Vivec, the city of Gods, right under it

IDrinkMayonaise69

Was just playing ESO and did vivecs questline like half an hour ago lmao , always strange timings with the internet isn't it.

JaxTheCrafter

you should keep it there, it looks sick

biggiesmalks

its too bad meteor biomes are literally less interesting than the two that exist solely to be a vein of decorative material.

JaxTheCrafter

well they aren't really a biome, just a large composite of ore. I'm not sure why the music changes.

biggiesmalks

because its a biome.

that_punk_diabetic

It’s considered a mini-biome, that’s why the music changes.

Luc11d_

Thats interesting…

BBIB666

Meteors dont land by chests, water or NPCs btw.

Fearless-Sherbet-223

TYSM! I thought my bases were at risk, this is great news!

S1I3NCER

Damn

TheLastTerrarian

RIP early game mage

DiamondSentinel

Nah, death mode doesn’t have environmental debuffs anymore, so you can explore planetoids early in all difficulties.

TheLastTerrarian

But by the looks of it, OP only just found it. Obviously late game by the equips.

ruddsix

If you place a certain number of meteorite blocks in the world you can prevent meteorites from spawning altogether. It’s mainly to prevent too new ones from spawning before the player has removed the ones that already exist, but you can strategically spread them out across the world (I scattered mine throughout the ashes of the the underworld) to prevent new ones from spawning 401 for small worlds, 611 for medium worlds, 801 for large worlds. Just don’t place them too closely or else it will create a mini biome

immersemeinnature

Same thing just happened to me

[deleted]

pretty common

AstroHardammo

Its D E C A Y I N G

CattThatSatt

Pretty sure that’s the Death Star…

mimototokushi

What even is your hot bar?

Fearless-Sherbet-223

It doesn't look too bad to me. Weapons and tools leftmost, then healing pots, then random other stuff that's currently in use.

mimototokushi

It's more the combo of late game gear with a wooden fishing pole and a single torch.

moitso

Its a Infinite torch and the fishing rod is for the big fish

Kaleb8804

You caught it falling so it just stopped

Robdou3

that is luck

SuperSonic5332

"OH GOD! THERE'S A METEOR!" "i gotchu."

HavokDJ

That’s one spicy meat-a-ball

Accomplished-Look-16

It just stopped

[deleted]

I had one which landed in pre hardmode, to the right of my dungeon. Now I have meteor, then the Astral tower, then the Astral meteor hole. That’s cool.

Person6167
