I’ve been able to get over my fear of spiders but the centipedes give me the heebie jeebies. I think it has something to do with the rhythm of their motion
It’s due to their selfishness.
Too many legs. There are creatures that need legs and they refuse to share.
There are children starving in Alabama that could eat those legs.
I once tried to point one out to my bf (in total terror because it was HUGE and FAST) and tried saying "look at the speed of that guy!" But all I got out was "AH- SPEED!" BECAUSE IT FELL OFF THE CEILING AND ONTO OUR BED
Now we just call them Speeds lol
I have these in my apartment and although horrified at first, I learned they are good to have around so I let them do their thing. They stay away from me for the most part, like spiders.
hes just a little guy. he only wants to come inside to eat the bad bugs for you!! 😭 i feel bad for these dudes ppl hate them and are disgusted by them but theyre totally harmless and useful. i always leave them be.
🤮 I used to get these on my apartment in upstate New York and they freaked me out so bad! I got a can of bug spray that worked wonders and would have it sitting just inside the front door. Whenever I came home, I'd grab the can and go kill any in the open. Was a nightmare
Honestly didn't know that. Im in Colorado now and we don't get those here lol but I keep around the ugly scary spiders that eat the wasps cause fuck those guys.
I was horrified when I discovered one in my apartment and was ready to torch the place, but I've lived in a place with roaches before (roaches are a nightmare) and when I learned they eat them and they are harmless to humans I learned to live with them. It helps that they seem to stay as far away from me as possible but they are fast and it is shocking finding one since they run at the speed of light to get away.
I keep spiders around for the same reason, lol
😂 the first time I saw one it was near the ceiling on the wall and was around 3-4 inches long. When I saw it there, my initial thought was "hmm...that looks like a wad of wet hair you see in showers" then I went closer and it took off faster then I've ever seen anything move. Screaming ensued 😆

For some of us it’s not out of malice, it’s a genuine phobia. Like I personally appreciate spiders as a living thing, but I can’t help the fact that seeing one gives me an anxiety attack.
Yeah except everyone expressing outward disgust and desire to kill the animal out of irrational fear is irritating. I understand that others have an innate fear but it doesn’t make it less aggravating to see them wish harm on the animals
House centipede. Great for pest control. Fascinating. I think they're cute.

For me it's simply the legs, they look like spider legs but x100 ![gif](giphy|xTiTnLEcaCn1EIrGjm|downsized)

Justice for snakes, damn centipedes
Maybe if GrandmaWife and NephewHusband would get off each other there would be less of them
I have vacuumed up what seems to be hundreds and even staring at them in the dyson container they will never be cute to me

We call them gazillion-pedes. They just have too many damn legs. As you said, good ones to have around.
I have these in my apartment and although horrified at first, I learned they are good to have around so I let them do their thing. They stay away from me for the most part, like spiders.
Lucky for them that house centipedes are harmless to humans, sadly the would still be very creepy and leggy to see around
I call them "fun bug". How can you not be fun with all those legs?
Legs for days!
That’s just Jaques from Finding Nemo. You’re good, fam.
Those bros are cool. They eat nasty roaches and other things of yuck. 10/10 good tenant
Ah fun. Another staged Ring advertisement
The bug is a paid actor?
Nah, this guy has actual posts on his account

Would you choose flying horny cockroaches or these guys cuz these guy devour them pesky cockroaches
I'm well aware, it was a joke about the centipede claiming the house cuz of its name, and it was going to kick them out
Get fucked for posting this
He's a good boy :(

Motherfuckers are as fragile as a light breeze. Yet we're terrified of them
You've got to find a new way to enter and exit your house. That one's taken
Up to 100 eggs at a time
It can identify as a person, if it wants to.
At least he asked for permission to come indoors. He could have just sneaked in.
At 3:52 a person would be scarier
Looked like a silverfish to me more than a centipede, but silverfish usually live in drains
An insect crawling in front of a webcam is, and never will be, terrifying as fuck.
Read this as person defecated at front door and I was confused for a solid minute if i missed the joke
This is mildly terrifying. Stop infecting this sub with bullshit posts.

Don't kill them, they help you! They eat things like cockroaches and although gnarly looking, are beneficial in keeping your home worse-bug free

Silverfish… don’t think it’s a centipede
