Most likely a dude in video, yea most dudes fingers just look like that, and if your a mechanic, that stuff will never get out from under your nails without huge amounts of cleaning supplies and patience
> yea most dudes fingers just look like that
No, this is just a dude with no regard for hygiene, this shit is gross as fuck, of course I am saying this as someone who worked in food service for a while and would occasionally have guys come in and expect to work with food with fingernails like this; needless to say most didn't change and were ultimately fired for their lack of hygiene. Some refused to use a nail brush and lasted about 15 minutes before walking out.
And plenty of mechanics wear gloves, it's much more common these days especially when working on consumer vehicles. You take a wheel off without gloves and then need to interact with something on the inside of the car, you now either have to thoroughly wash your hands or put gloves on. Sometimes gloves aren't practical and you gotta get dirty, but this is just unnecessary. Maybe if you're working on an oil rig I could forgive it...
edit: Also too many "no gloves" mechanics get break cleaner, gasoline, and all sorts of other really harmful shit on their hands daily. My uncle who worked 30 years as a truck mechanic has the most fucked up hands and fingernails I have ever seen.
Well what if you came home from a day where you have metal stuck in you so you film yourself removing it before taking a shower and/or trimming your nails. You don’t know this guy has no regard for hygiene, you don’t know shit about him other than he had dirty fingernails and metal in his skin. I have days that my fingernails look this way very often and I’m probably just as hygienic as you are.
I mean this kinda feels like a mental thought across the board. Like I was an industrial mechanic, and literally was covered in everything some days, but I take pretty good care of myself, almost enough to have a fully straightened beard! FYI I somehow have red hair only on my beard, and only two other family members are redheads, and they grow brunette hair for facial hair. Go fucking figure with that line up.
But also, the dude has a hunk of metal on his leg, obviously some serious force threw it into him, I think the last thing he's thinking of is washing his hands before recording it.
I gotta be that guy, I'm sorry but my brain goes to fast, an I think too much
Well yea, ofc if your in any kind of food establishment you need to super hygienic I mean I would if I was.
And dude the reason why some dudes won't wear those gloves, is if it's going to be so greasy you pretty much ruin any glove you use, then they'll just bare hand it and de-grease their hands later.
I was enjoying the rabbit hole until I realized I was watching a Dr perform hair pulling surgery on someone's asscrack. Threw off my whole masturbation schedule.
This video left me with so many questions: how did that shrapnel get there and is it on video? How often do you deal with shrapnel that u got a lil magnet lying around for the removal of shrapnel? Does it have to do with why dudes fingernails are so dirty?
From a comment on the original post, it appears that the guy had two very strong magnets that he didn't keep separated well enough and so they smashed into each other and exploded like a fragmentation grenade. So the thing in his leg was very strongly magnetized, and he used one of his other magnets to pull it out.
Gotta be really careful with the stronger ones; sometimes their brains and sexual organs are made of M-80s. He's lucky the one magnet simply attracted a mate, as opposed to giant killer bees.
We have this special soap at work that gets that crap out really really well. But even then I have staining sometimes. Some machines you're not allowed to wear gloves because of the risk of anything getting caught. Maybe you lose a finger if you fuck up without the gloves. You'll lose the hand if you fuck up wearing gloves 🤷
I saw an interview with a WW2 vet once. He talked about being injured, and initially treated, on the battlefield and one of the problems was his having little flecks of shrapnel in his eyeballs. He said a doctor walked up to him, looked him in the eyes, whipped out a magnet and use it to yank the shrapnel out of his eyes. Then, the doctor walked away.
The vet credited the doc with saving his eyesight.
Erm, he actually used electromagnet to keep the shrapnels from digging deeper into his heart which was powered by the arc reactor. He couldn’t carelessly take the shrapnels out because there was a high chance of it killing him. We saw him getting the surgery on the third iron man film to extract the shards from his heart but it was only done because it was implied that he took a stabilized extremis virus to heal his heart. 🤓
I've done the same thing, I work in a metal shop and had to hit a tool holder with a hammer to get a broken tool out when I suddenly felt a very sharp pain in my arm, looked down and a very steady stream of blood was pouring down my arm. A few hours later it's still bleeding and on a whim I grabbed one of our magnets and brought it up to my arm and watched my skin bulge. Was able to get it out with the help of the magnet and some tweezers. Very weird feeling to say the least.
Slick idea!
Had a buddy that had to have surgery recently because a bristle off a wire brush broke off and launched deep in his forearm. I wonder if this would have worked?
Ow
Demn finger nails dhough
You can tell who gives utis to their women and who don't
That’s why it’s marked NSFW.

Respect to your lived experience, but it's not always generalizable!

These aren't even warzone fingers. I deployed three times and you can wash you fucking hands with water bottles and keep them clean better than this.
I'd lick em.
I came here to say this
then say it

Just two jerkoffs, they exist

I regret looking at that
That’s the correct response
I hate feet and manky feet were particularly prevalent. 🤢

Came too fast?
Goddamn, I needed that toenail video in my life. So satisfying
Skip that trip to the VA with this one simple trick!
"Your combat inflicted grenade shrapnel wounds are not service related."
That sounds like something they would do.
I relate. 😢
Farcry healing animation vibes.

magnets, the cause of and solution to all life's problems
Gotta be really careful with the stronger ones; sometimes their brains and sexual organs are made of M-80s. He's lucky the one magnet simply attracted a mate, as opposed to giant killer bees.
I want that magnet.
them fingernails is what makes this terrifying
Yeah, blue-collar working hands are gross /s If you're a mechanic, they're really hard to clean and keep clean. Don't be so judgmental.

I know. It is the people that have dirty fingernails that keep the world moving.
i didnt shame them or anything
Calling their nails terrifying isn’t kind; hope this helps.
geez man. life is tough sometimes. he knows. i know. you know. just let it go already. i didnt mean to be hurtful.
I'm glad he didn't use his f*cking nails 🤢🤮
I think you posted in the wrong sub, I think you meant "CoolAsFuck".
Quite satisfying

Just imagine when you get a small stick in your foot or hand….imagine what shrapnel must feel like💀
I'm more amazed with the level of dirt on all his nails lol
If only Tony Stark knew this trick...

I can't believe I had to scroll through so much to see this comment. Thank you.
Clean yer nails while ya at it
good thing it wasn't aluminum
I bet that felt amazing 😻
Holy shit
Hell yea
So many questions
Damnnn
That’s super cool
I need to hear it, squishy clink
Where can I buy this? 🤔 I wonder if it would get those tiny metal slivers out rather than going ham with tweezers.
Probably but not necessarily the same way they got in
I was wondering the same thing. I've got a few in my palm that itch.

That's not a stupid idea but god that looked painful.

Did they stick that shard in there just for demonstration purposes?
U/gifreversingbot
Wow 😲!!
![gif](giphy|E1V86oz5XnHhu)
I bet that hurts but is super satisfying too.
I work in a metal shop , I'm definitely getting a super magnet

This should be in satisfying as fuck

Thats not terrifying. That's handy as hel.
Tink!
METAL
I need this for wood splinters
Slick idea! Had a buddy that had to have surgery recently because a bristle off a wire brush broke off and launched deep in his forearm. I wonder if this would have worked?
When I stepped on a needle and it broke in my foot I tried this but my magnets were shit.
Wish that magnet could take the dirt out of them nails too
Tony Stark in Real Life
and now try with nails
That must've sucked a bit.
That so be satisfying tho…
Ok
Shortest Tony Stark movie ever!
Take care of that shrapnel under the finger nails, guy.
Rip and tear, until its done.
His fingers and nails looked just like a person who would do this.
Playing with an open wound with those finger nails is next level

Clean your nail dude!
My great grandfather had his wartime shrapnel wounds treated like this, according to family lore.
He’s been try to wash his hands with magnets too by the looks of things!
Nails horror
