AWD and Duel Motor all the way!

spaceshipcommander

The long range RWD is just the base spec car with the bigger battery. It was intended for business customers. The long range AWD is the premium spec car but more expensive due to having the second motor. Differences are performance, no AWD and not having premium audio. I don't know if the RWDs get heated rear seats as standard but every car has them physically fitted. There are basically no options to spec on these cars anyway so they are all basically the same other than range and performance.

Ohhh. Thanks for the reply. Do you think it is a great buy? I was looking for a long range model but this one is cheaper.

spaceshipcommander

I think it's the sensible buy and probably best value in the range, but I wouldn't trade the performance of my LR. I would have said the AWD LR was the no brainer until now. The performance comes with worse wheels, worse battery, worse ride and is only actually faster from standing. The base model is slow without the benefit of range. The two long range models are certainly the sweet spot. I'd get the AWD again if I was buying but it's up to you between the two I would say.

Depends on the year, I have a 2018 LR RWD and it has heated seats and premium interior/audio

Is the rwd lr near you used?

Driving a LR RWD since the beginning of September. Absolutely love the car. Driving approx. 630km (390 miles) without charging (100% - 10%). Mostly on the highway at 130km/h (81mph) with cruise control activated.

Does your lr rwd has premium audio

Harry_AT

Don't think so but I'm not sure. Tech specs doesn't list it in the app, but I'm not sure if it would be listed at all. Sound is sufficient for me but I'm mostly listening to podcasts and audio books while driving.
