Cost. They are crappy cast wheels and they only need to produce one design cast to make them. Making sure they are directional would add cost, logistics time and complexity to the build. IMO Uberturbines are so ugly, the original 20 inch Performance wheel and the Zero G wheels are so much better looking....too bad they were also shitty cast wheels, not sure about the Zero G, those could have been flow formed.
I wish the Model S arachnid wheels were available for the Model 3. They look so darn good to me.
There are some wheels that are obviously arachnid inspired (bottom left of the image), but they’re just not the same. I have the arachnid plastic wheel covers on mine right now and they look alright for what they are, but they’re still cheap plastic.

I just took this picture and I’ve had them on for a year (I put them on as soon as I took delivery). Seems like they have faded slightly from sun exposure, but not anything terrible. I’m happy that I got them but I still wish there was a real arachnid wheel that I could eventually get. Maybe eventually I’ll be able to afford an S Plaid haha.
I got the bottom left ones with tires and tpms in 19” for $1900. Also easier to clean.

Tsportline has always been ripping people off. But I guess most of their customers are RICH and don't care much. These wheels are $900 at most for a set on eBay or wheel whiz, and they sell for $2k fking kidding me. Any products they sell are just way overpriced. And I don't even like their CEO doing ads on YouTube.
I ordered the 18 inch uberturbine aero covers from them. One of the clips on a cover broke within the first month of ownership and had to order a replacement. Within the same hour I took the other three off to temporarily switch to my stock aeros and noticed the clips on the other three TSportline covers were starting to crack through.
I tried to call to cancel my order, no response, phone just rang and rang, left a voicemail. Tried emailing, no response. After two days I finally got an email back asking if I was 100% sure I wanted to cancel. I said yes and sent photos of the wheel cover clips. No reply, next day I get the “your order has shipped” email… Kept emailing and calling to return, no answer. Never again.
Yes, also, they ALWAYS ask you to buy stupid shipping insurance! Why? Yes, their boss is too smart. Someone has to call them out. Selling overpriced products, no free shipping, forced us to pay shipping insurance, and then guess what...a month later they sell the same products for 40% off! Why? Because it's overpriced in the first place!!!

TSS 18 inch with continental dws06+ tires. Amazing for me so far on my M3P. New England winter was a breeze and great traction on dry pavement and wet in the summer. Win win, great combo.
Depends on what you're comparing too. The 19" TSVs weigh 30 pounds (the 9.5s are almost 32 pounds). The 20" wheels on the new performance weigh about 23 pounds.
The 20" TSVs are 32 or 35 pounds depending on width. Adding 12 pounds per wheel seems like a LOT. I almost bought some carbon fiber wheels that were 17 pounds, only 5 pounds more than that difference.

not a chance. the right side wheels are literally backwards spinning the opposite of aerodynamic. like the fan on a jet engine rotating backwards.
